Abstract

Un proceso para la purificación de (S)-4{[3-[2-(dimetilamino)etil]1H-indol-5-il]metil}-2-oxazolidonona que comprende las etapas de: a) disolver el (S)-4{[3-[2-(dimetilamino)etil]-1H-indol-5-il]metil}-2-oxazolidinona crudo en una mezcla a reflujo de etanol en acetato de etilo y filtrar la solución caliente; b) enfriar lentamente la solución filtrada a una temperatura de aproximadamente 5° C; c) centrifugar el producto a partir de la etapa b), lavar con acetato de etilo y luego secar; d) tratar con acetona para remover el acetato de etilo de solvatado; y el compuesto que se obtiene.
