Abstract
Description

Claims (32)
- フィルタであって、当該フィルタが:
ハブと;
該ハブから延びる複数の脚部又はワイヤー又はセグメントと;を備えており、
少なくとも前記ハブの一部、若しくは1つ又は複数の前記脚部又はワイヤー又はセグメントから構成される部分は、前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供するように改変される、
フィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供する改変は、前記フィルタのその部分の前記エコー源性特性を高めるために前記フィルタの一部を改変することである、
請求項1に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供する改変は、前記フィルタの表面にディンプルを形成することである、
請求項1に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記ディンプルは、十分な数があり、且つ血管内超音波システムで使用するのに適したサイズ、形状、向き、及びパターンに合わせて調整される、
請求項3に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供する改変は、フィルタ表面に形成された、前記フィルタ表面に配置された、又は前記フィルタ表面に接合された突起を形成することである、
請求項1に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記突起は、十分な数があり、且つ血管内超音波システムで使用するのに適したサイズ、形状、向き、及びパターンに合わせて調整される、
請求項5に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供する改変は、フィルタの1つ又は複数の表面を粗面化することである、
請求項1に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記粗面化は、化学的処理、レーザー、又はビーズブラスト技術を用いて行われる、
請求項7に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記粗面化は、血管内超音波システムで使用するのに適したサイズ、形状、向き、及びパターンに合わせて十分調整される、
請求項7に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供する改変は、前記フィルタの1つ又は複数の特定の領域内のエコー源性を改良するために、空洞、空隙、又はポケットを導入するようにフィルタ製造技術の1つ又は複数のステップを変更して、1つ又は複数の音響反射特性を局所的に改変又は適合することである、
請求項1に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記空洞、空隙、又はポケットは、十分な数があり、且つ血管内超音波システムで使用するのに適したサイズ、形状、向き、及びパターンに合わせて調整される、
請求項10に記載のフィルタ。 - 前記フィルタのフィルタ処理能力を高めるために、前記フィルタの一部に取り付けられ又は前記フィルタの一部によって支持された別個の材料捕捉構造をさらに含む、
請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。 - 少なくとも1つの固定要素をさらに含んでおり、組織アンカーの任意の部分又は1つの前記ハブの任意の部分、前記ハブから延びる複数の前記脚部又はワイヤー又はセグメントは、前記少なくとも1つの固定要素又は前記フィルタの使用、状態、位置、向きに関する前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供するように改変される、
請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。 - 第1及び第2の支持部材、交差部及び第1の支持部材の第1の端部又は第2の端部をさらに含み、第1及び第2の支持部材、交差部及び第1の支持部材の第1の端部又は第2の端部のいずれかの任意の部分は、フィルタの使用、状態、又はフィルタの血餅リスクに関する前記フィルタのエンハンスされたエコー源性特性を提供するように改変される、
請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。 - 管腔内にフィルタを位置付けする方法であって、当該方法は:
請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタを含むシースを前記管腔を通して前進させるステップと;
前記シース内での前記フィルタの一部を維持しながら、前記フィルタの一部を前記シースから前記管腔内に展開するステップと;を含み、
血管内超音波システムからのイメージングを使用する前後に、上述したステップのいずれかを実行する、
方法。 - 請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタを管腔内で展開する方法であって、当該方法は:
前記フィルタを含むシースを前記管腔を通して前進させるステップと;
前記フィルタを前記管腔内に展開するステップと;を含み、
いずれかのステップは、血管内超音波を使用して前記フィルタの1つ又は複数のエコー源性の態様から得られた情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、開始、実行、確認、又は完了される、
方法。 - フィルタを回収するために、スネアをフィルタに向けて所定の方向に操作するステップと;
前記スネアを前記フィルタに係合するステップと;をさらに含み、
前記操作ステップ又は前記係合ステップは、血管内超音波を使用して前記フィルタの1つ又は複数のエコー源性の態様から得られた情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、開始、実行、確認、又は完了される、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記フィルタに取り付けられた固定要素を管腔壁に係合するステップをさらに含み、この係合ステップは、血管内超音波を使用して前記フィルタの1つ又は複数のエコー源性の態様から得られた情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、開始、実行、確認、又は完了される、

前記送達カテーテルの先端部に組み込まれたIVUSトランスデューサと;
適切なイメージング又は処理システムに前記IVUSトランスデューサを接続するように適合且つ構成された前記送達カテーテルの基端部上の1つ又は複数のコネクタと;を備える、
フィルタ送達カテーテル。 - 前記フィルタ送達カテーテルに対して移動可能な伸縮性スリーブをさらに含む、
請求項19に記載のフィルタ送達カテーテル。 - 前記フィルタ送達カテーテルに対して移動可能な押込みロッドをさらに含む、
請求項19に記載のフィルタ送達カテーテル。 - 前記IVUSトランスデューサは、前記送達カテーテルの先端部に組み込まれるように適合且つ構成され、それにより、前記送達カテーテルを前進及び後退させることによって、前記IVUSトランスデューサから複数のスライス画像が生成される、

前記管腔の壁に係合させるために前記フィルタの一部を前記送達カテーテルから前記管腔内に展開する前に、IVUSトランスデューサにより提供された前記送達カテーテル上のイメージング情報を使用して、相対的な位置を決定するステップと;をさらに含む、
方法。 - 前記フィルタの展開前に、前記フィルタの展開後に、又は前記フィルタの展開中に、前記送達カテーテルを使用して前記管腔のIVUS画像を取得するステップをさらに含む、
