Abstract
Description

本発明は、概して組み込みシステムのためのシステム・アーキテクチャに関する。本発明によって認識されることとして、カテーテル検査室内で貴重なスペースが節約できる。該節約は、撮像システムの特定のコンポーネントを前記システムの他のコンポーネントから離れたエリア内に配置し、そして、これらのコンポーネントを互いに機能的に関連づけることによって行われる。この方法で、本発明のアーキテクチャは、患者のそばに配置しなければならないハードウェアの量を最小限にすることができる。そして、患者の近くに貴重なスペースを設けることができる。

Claims (20)
- 組み込みシステムであって:
撮像光学機器(imaging optics)を含むワークステーションと;及び
サンプリング・プローブを含む患者エリアと;
を含むシステムであり、
前記ワークステーションは、前記患者エリアから離れており、及び、前記ワークステーションは、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する、該システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記撮像光学機器は、以下から成る群から選択される撮像システムのための物である該システム:光干渉断層撮影(OCT)システム;分光装置(蛍光、吸光、散乱、及びラマン分光を含む)、血管内超音波検査(IVUS)装置、フォワードルッキングIVUS(FLIVUS)装置、高密度焦点式超音波法(HIFU)装置、無線周波数装置、サーマルイメージング装置、光学的な光ベースの撮像装置、磁気共鳴装置、ラジオグラフィー装置、核イメージング装置、光音響イメージング装置、電気インピーダンス・トモグラフィ装置、エラストグラフィ装置、圧力感知ワイヤ装置、心腔内心エコー法(ICE)装置、フォワードルッキングICE装置、整形外科用装置、脊柱撮像装置、神経撮像装置、画像ガイド治療用装置、治療用送達装置、及び診断用送達装置。

- 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記干渉計は、前記サンプル・プローブに機能的に関連する延長サンプル・パスを含む該システム。
- 請求項1に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記リモートワークステーションは、少なくとも1つのケーブルによって、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する該システム。
- 請求項1に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つのケーブルは、床の溝又は天井のコンジットを通して備え付けられる該システム。
- 請求項1に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記リモートワークステーションは、無線伝送によって、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する該システム。
- 組み込み光干渉断層撮影(OCT)システムであって:
光源と干渉計とを含むワークステーションと;及び
サンプル・プローブを含む患者エリアと;
を含み、前記ワークステーションは、前記患者エリアから離れており、及び前記ワークステーションは、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する該システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムであって、前記ワークステーションは、更に光検出器と、ディジタイザーと、及びCPUコンポーネントとを含む該システム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムであって、前記患者エリアは、更にカテーテルを含む該システム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムであって、前記干渉計は、前記サンプル・プローブに機能的に関連する延長サンプル・パスを含む該システム。
- 請求項9に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記リモートワークステーションは、少なくとも1つのケーブルによって、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する該システム。
- 請求項9に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つのケーブルは、床の溝又は天井のコンジットを通して備え付けられる該システム。
- 請求項9に記載の組み込みシステムであって、前記リモートワークステーションは、無線伝送によって、前記患者エリアと機能的に関連する該システム。
- システムを組み込む方法であって、以下のステップを含む該方法:
撮像光学機器を備えるワークステーションを設けるステップ;
サンプリング・プローブを備える患者エリアを設けるステップ;

画像データを前記患者エリアから前記ワークステーションへ送るステップ。 - 請求項16に記載の方法であって、前記画像データをデジタル形式に前記ワークステーション又はその付近で変換するステップを更に含む該方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法であって、前記画像データを前記患者エリアから送る前に、前記画像データをデジタル形式に変換するステップを更に含む該方法。
- 請求項16に記載の方法であって、前記画像データを前記患者エリアから送る前に、前記画像データを圧縮するステップを更に含む方法。
