Abstract
【解決手段】マルチアンテナOFDMシステムにおける送信ダイバーシティに対して、データシンボルを得るために送信機はトラフィックデータを符号化し、インターリーブし、そしてシンボルマップする。送信機は、1対のアンテナから伝送に対する2対の送信シンボルを得るためにデータシンボルの各対を(1)空間-時間送信ダイバーシティに対しては2個のOFDMシンボル期間中に、あるいは(2)空間-周波数送信ダイバーシティに対しては2個のサブバンド上でのいずれかで処理する。NT(NT−1)/2個の異なったアンテナ対が、隣接のサブバンドに対して使用されている異なったアンテナ対とともに、データ伝送に対して使用される。ここでNTはアンテナの数である。システムは複数のOFDMシンボルサイズをサポートすることが可能である。

Description
本特許出願は、“MIMO WLANシステム” と題された、2002年10月25日に出願され、この譲受人に譲渡され、そしてそれによってこの中に参照によって明確に組み込まれた、仮出願シリアル番号60/421,309に対して優先権を主張する。
本発明は、一般的に通信、そしてより特定的にはマルチアンテナ通信システムにおいて送信ダイバーシティに対するデータ処理のための技術に関する。
マルチアンテナ通信システムはデータ伝送のために、複数の(NT個の)送信アンテナおよび1個あるいはそれ以上の(NR個の)受信アンテナを使用する。NT個の送信アンテナは、これらのアンテナから独立したデータストリームを送信することによってシステムスループットを増加するために使用することが可能である。NT個の送信アンテナはまたこれらのアンテナから1個のデータストリームを冗長に送信することによって信頼性を改善するために使用することが可能である。

kosは長いOFDMサブバンドインデックスklに対するサブバンドインデックスオフセットである(kos∈{0,1,2,3})。マップされた短いOFDMシンボルサブバンドインデックスksに対応するアンテナ対は、表5から決定され、そしてインデックスklを有する長いOFDMシンボルサブバンドに対して使用される。
Claims (52)
- 無線マルチアンテナ直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)通信システムにおいて、伝送のためにデータを処理する方法であって、
符号化されたデータを得るために、コーディング方式に従ってトラフィックデータをコーディングし、
インターリーブされたデータを得るために、インターリービング方式に従って符号化されたデータをインターリービングし、
データシンボルのストリームを得るために、変調方式に従ってインターリーブされたデータをシンボルマッピングし、そして
1対のアンテナから伝送のための送信シンボルの2対を得るために、ストリーム内のデータシンボルの各対を処理する、ここで各送信シンボルはデータシンボルの変形である、
ことを含む方法。 - ここで、データシンボルの各対に対する送信シンボルの2個の対は、2個のOFDMシンボル期間中に同じサブバンド上のアンテナの対から送信される、請求項1記載の方法。
- ここで、データシンボルの各対に対する送信シンボルの2個の対は、1個のOFDMシンボル期間中に2個のサブバンド上の1対のアンテナから送信される、請求項1記載の方法。
