Abstract
"PROCESSOS E MATERIAIS PARA A PRODUçãO DE áCIDO LáTICO EM LEVEDURA". São propostas leveduras recombinantes tendo, em um aspecto, genes múltiplos exógenos de LDH integrados ao genoma, deixando ao mesmo tempo intactos os genes nativos de PDC. Em um segundo aspecto, são propostas leveduras recombinantes tendo um gene exógeno de LDH integrado ao seu genoma no locus de um gene nativo de PDC, com deleção do gene nativo de PDC. A levedura recombinante é útil no processo de fermentação para a produção de ácido lático.
