Abstract
본 발명은 반응기로 들어가는, 기상 및 액상을 포함하는 유동 매질 및 유동층을 갖는 기상 반응기에서 메탈로센 촉매의 존재하에 알파-올레핀을 단독으로 또는 하나 이상의 다른 알파-올레핀과 함께 중합 또는 공중합시키는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (17)
- 유동 매질이 반응기의 냉각 용량을 조절하고, 유동 매질에서 유동 매질의 총 중량을 기준으로 2중량%초과의 액체가 반응기로 유입되고 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산 한계값 이상으로 유지시킴을 포함하는, 유동층 및 유동 매질을 갖는 기상 반응기에서 메탈로센 촉매 존재하에 알파-올레핀(들)을 중합시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 액체의 양이 유동 매질의 총 중량을 기준으로 15중량%초과, 바람직하게는 20중량%초과, 보다 바람직하게는 25 내지 40중량%인 방법.
- (a) 기상 대 액상의 비를 조절함으로써 유동 매질의 냉각 용량을 조절하고; (b) 벌크 밀도 함수 한계값을 계산하고; (c) 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 유지 또는 모니터링하고; (d) 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값 이상으로 유지되도록 조정함을 포함하는, 반응기로 유입되는 액상 및 기상을 갖는 유동 매질 및 유동층을 갖는 기상 반응기에서 메탈로센 촉매의 존재하에 알파-올레핀(들)을 중합시키는 방법.
- (a) 기상 대 액상의 비를 조절함으로써 유동 매질의 냉각 용량을 조절하고; (b) 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값 이상으로 유지함을 포함하는, 반응기로 유입되는 액상 및 기상을 갖는 유동 매질 및 유동층을 갖는 기상 반응기에서 메탈로센 촉매의 존재하에 알파-올레핀(들)을 중합시키는 방법.
- 메탈로센 촉매의 존재하에 단량체를 포함하는 기상 스트림을 반응 대역에 통과시킴으로써 중합체 생성물을 제조하고, 상기 중합체 생성물을 배출시키고, 반응하지 않은 단량체를 포함하는 유동 매질을 상기 반응 대역으로부터 배출시키고, 상기 유동 매질을 탄화수소 및 중합가능한 단량체(들)과 혼합하여 액상 및 기상을 형성시키고, 상기 유동 매질을 상기 반응기로 재순환시킴을 포함하고, (a) 상기 탄화수소를 상기 유동 매질에 도입시켜 유동 매질의 냉각 용량을 40Btu/1b 이상으로 증가시키고; (b) 중합체 생성물의 배출 속도를 5001b/hr.ft2이상으로 증가시키고; (c) 벌크 밀도 함수 한계값을 계산하고; (d) 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값 이상으로 유지함을 포함하는, 유동 매질 및 유동층을 갖는 기상 중합 반응기의 반응기 생산성을 증가시키는 연속 방법.
- 유동 매질에서 유동 매질의 총 중량을 기준으로 15중량% 보다 많은 양의 액체를 반응기로 유입되도록 사용하고, 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)를 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값 이상으로 유지함을 포함하는, 기상을 포함하고 반응기의 냉각 용량을 조절하는 작용을 하는 유동 매질 및 유동층을 갖는 기상 반응기에서 메탈로센 촉매의 존재하에 알파-올레핀(들)을 중합시켜 중합체 생성물을 제조하는 방법.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 액체의 양이 유동 매질의 총 중량을 기준으로 15 내지 50중량%, 바람직하게는 20 내지 40중량%인 방법.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 액체의 양이 유동 매질의 총 중량을 기준으로 20중량%보다 많고, 바람직하게는 22중량%보다 많고, 더욱 바람직하게는 25중량%보다 많은 방법.
- 제5항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 생성물을 5001b/hr.ft2보다 큰 속도, 바람직하게는 6001b/hr.ft2보다 큰 속도로 배출시키는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)가 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값보다 큰 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 계산된 한계값이 0.2 내지 0.7, 바람직하게는 0.3 내지 0.6 더욱 바람직하게는 0.4 내지 0.6의 범위인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)가 벌크 밀도 함수의 계산된 한계값보다 1%, 바람직하게는 2% 큰 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 유동 매질이 (i) 0.001 내지 0.60의 몰비의 부텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.50의 몰비의 4-메틸-펜텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.30의 몰비의 헥센-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.10의 몰비의 옥텐-1 및 에틸렌, (ⅱ) 유동 매질의 1.5 내지 20몰%를 구성하는 응축성 유체; 또는 (i) 0.001 내지 0.60의 몰비의 부텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.50의 몰비의 4-메틸-펜텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.30의 몰비의 헥센-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.10의 몰비의 옥텐-1 및 에틸렌, (ⅱ) 유동 매질의 1.5 내지 30몰%를 구성하는 응축성 유체; 또는 (i) 0.001 내지 0.30몰비의 부텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.25의 몰비의 4-메틸-펜텐-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.15의 몰비의 헥센-1 및 에틸렌, 또는 0.001 내지 0.05의 몰비의 옥텐-1 및 에틸렌, (ⅱ) 유동 매질의 5 내지 40몰%를 구성하는 응축성 유체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 기상이 개별적으로 액상과는 분리되어 반응기에 들어가며/가거나 액상이 분배 플레이트 아래에서 반응기로 들어가는 방법.
- 제5항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유동 벌크 밀도 대 침강 벌크 밀도의 비가 0.59 미만인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 벌크 밀도 함수(Z)가 (0.59-pg/pbs)/(1-pg/ps)(여기서, pbf는 유동 벌크 밀도이고, pbs는 침강 벌크 밀도이고, pg는 기체 밀도이고, PS는 고체(수지)밀도임)이상인 방법.
