Description
一対の摺動部品におけるいずれか一方の摺動部品の摺動面に、漏れ側から被密封流体側に延びる複数の動圧発生溝が形成されている摺動部品であって、
前記一方の摺動面には、周方向に延びかつ漏れ側に開放された凹溝が形成されており、
前記凹溝は、前記動圧発生溝と連通されている。
これによれば、隣接する動圧発生溝を区画するランド上を漏れ側に漏れる被密封流体は凹溝に案内され、凹溝に案内された被密封流体は動圧発生溝に導入されるので、潤滑性に優れ被密封流体の回収率が高く、被密封流体が漏れ側に漏れることが防止される。
これによれば、凹溝内の被密封流体が動圧発生溝に導入され易い。
これによれば、被密封流体が動圧発生溝から凹溝に逆流し難く、被密封流体が漏れにくい。
これによれば、回転方向上流側の動圧発生溝から漏れ側に向けて流れる被密封流体を効率よく回収させることができる。
これによれば、凹溝が全周に亘り形成されるので、漏れ側に漏出しようとする被密封流体は凹溝内に案内され易い。
これによれば、摺動により発生する遠心力により、被密封流体を凹溝内に案内させ易い。

Claims (4)
- 一対の摺動部品におけるいずれか一方の摺動部品の摺動面に、漏れ側から被密封流体側に延びる複数の動圧発生溝が形成されている摺動部品であって、
前記一方の摺動面には、周方向に延びかつ漏れ側に開放された凹溝が形成されており、
前記凹溝は、前記動圧発生溝と連通され、
前記凹溝と前記動圧発生溝の境界において、前記凹溝の底面は、前記動圧発生溝の底面と同一高さで形成、あるいは、前記動圧発生溝の底面よりも高く形成されている摺動部品。 - 前記凹溝は、隣接する前記動圧発生溝と、径方向に重なって配設されている請求項1に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記凹溝は、環状に形成されている請求項1または2に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記凹溝は、前記一方側の摺動面の内径側端部に形成されている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
