Claims (20)
- EL素子を有する画素がマトリックス状に配置された表示画面を有するパネル基板と、
前記画素の行ごとに配置されたゲート信号線と、
前記画素の列ごとに配置されたソース信号線と、
フレキシブル基板に実装されたゲートドライバ回路と、
前記ソース信号線に映像信号を出力するソースドライバ回路を具備し、
前記ゲートドライバ回路には、ゲート信号出力端子と、ドライバ端子と、制御端子が配置され、
前記フレキシブル基板には、第1の接続部と、ゲート信号接続部と、第2の接続部と、第3の接続部とが一辺に配列され、
前記フレキシブル基板には、
前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記ゲート信号接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記制御端子と前記第2の接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記第1の接続部と前記ドライバ端子と前記第3の接続部とを接続する連続接続線とを有し、
前記制御端子は、前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記ドライバ端子間に配置され、
前記パネル基板に形成されたパネル配線は、前記第2の接続部に接続されている、
EL表示装置。 - 前記ゲートドライバ回路は、複数のシフトレジスタ回路を有している、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記ドライバ端子のうち、少なくとも1端子は、前記ゲート信号出力端子から出力される信号モードを設定する端子であり、
前記信号モードは、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧からなる第1の信号モードと、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧と第2のオフ電圧からなる第2の信号モードであり、
前記信号モードを設定する端子により、前記第1の信号モードと前記第2の信号モードのいずれかを選択する、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記第2の接続部に接続されたパネル配線に印加される電圧は、ロジック設定電圧、または、前記ゲート信号出力端子から出力される電圧である、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記画素は、n(nは2以上の整数)本の前記ゲート信号線を有し、
前記ゲートドライバ回路は、n個のシフトレジスタ回路を有している、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記ゲートドライバ回路には、複数のゲート信号線出力回路が形成され、
前記ゲート信号線出力回路には、独立したVon電圧が印加される、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記表示画面の一辺に、第1のゲートドライバ回路が配置され、前記表示画面の他辺に、第2のゲートドライバ回路が配置されている、
請求項1記載のEL表示装置。 - EL素子を有する画素がマトリックス状に配置された表示画面を有するパネル基板と、
前記画素の行ごとに配置されたゲート信号線と、
前記画素の列ごとに配置されたソース信号線と、
フレキシブル基板に実装されたゲートドライバ回路と、
前記ソース信号線に映像信号を出力するソースドライバ回路を具備し、
前記ゲートドライバ回路には、ゲート信号出力端子と、第1のドライバ端子と、第2のドライバ端子と、制御端子とが配置され、
前記フレキシブル基板には、第1の接続部と、ゲート信号接続部と、第2の接続部と、第3の接続部とが一辺に配列され、
前記フレキシブル基板には、
前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記ゲート信号接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記制御端子と前記第2の接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記第1の接続部と前記第1のドライバ端子と前記第2のドライバ端子と前記第3の接続部とを接続する連続接続線とを有し、
前記制御端子は、前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記第1のドライバ端子間と、前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記第2のドライバ端子間のうち、少なくとも一方に配置され、
前記パネル基板に形成されたパネル配線は、前記第2の接続部に接続され、前記第2の接続部と前記制御端子とが前記端子接続線で接続されている、
EL表示装置。 - 前記ゲートドライバ回路は、複数のシフトレジスタ回路を有している、
請求項8記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記第1のドライバ端子および前記第2のドライバ端子のうち、少なくとも1端子は、前記ゲート信号出力端子から出力される信号モードを設定する端子であり、
前記信号モードは、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧からなる第1の信号モードと、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧と第2のオフ電圧からなる第2の信号モードであり、
前記信号モードを設定する端子により、前記第1の信号モードと前記第2の信号モードのいずれかを選択する、
請求項8記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記第2の接続部に接続されたパネル配線に印加される電圧は、ロジック設定電圧、または、前記ゲート信号出力端子から出力される電圧である、
請求項8記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記画素は、n(nは2以上の整数)本の前記ゲート信号線を有し、
前記ゲートドライバ回路は、n個のシフトレジスタ回路を有している、
請求項8記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記ゲートドライバ回路には、複数のゲート信号線出力回路が形成され、
前記ゲート信号線出力回路には、独立したVon電圧が印加される、

前記フレキシブル基板には、第1の接続部と、ゲート信号接続部と、第3の接続部とが一辺に配列され、
前記フレキシブル基板には、
前記ゲート信号出力端子と前記ゲート信号接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記制御端子と第2の接続部とを接続する端子接続線と、前記第1の接続部と前記第3のドライバ端子間とを接続する端子接続線と、前記第3のドライバ端子と前記第3の接続部とを接続する端子接続線とを有し、
前記第3のドライバ端子と、前記第4のドライバ端子間は、前記ゲートドライバ回路に形成された配線により接続されている、

請求項14記載のEL表示装置。 - 前記第3のドライバ端子および前記第4のドライバ端子のうち、少なくとも1端子は、前記ゲート信号出力端子から出力される信号モードを設定する端子であり、
前記信号モードは、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧からなる第1の信号モードと、オン電圧と第1のオフ電圧と第2のオフ電圧からなる第2の信号モードであり、
前記信号モードを設定する端子により、前記第1の信号モードと前記第2の信号モードのいずれかを選択する、
