Abstract
Description
本発明は、例えば、以下を提供する。
(項目1)
所与の形状に設定される形状記憶材料の自己拡張型/強制拡張型のステントを、駆動ワイヤを有する送達システムにより、低減された移植サイズまで収縮させるステップであって、前記ステントが、前記駆動ワイヤに動作可能に接続される調節可能な要素を持つ選択的に調節可能なアセンブリを有し、前記調節可能な要素が前記駆動ワイヤにより調節されるときに、自己拡張型の前記ステントの少なくとも一部分における構成の変化が生じるようになっている、ステップと、
収縮された前記ステントを、前記ステントが移植されるべき患者固有の弁輪に挿入するステップと、
前記駆動ワイヤを前記送達システムにより回転させて、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中へ強制的に拡張させるステップと、
前記駆動ワイヤを回転させる間に、前記駆動ワイヤに加えられるトルクを前記送達システムにより求めるステップと、
求められたトルクの値に基づいて前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させるステップとを含む、ステントを移植するための方法。
(項目2)
ユーザに動的な前記トルクの値を与えて、前記ユーザが前記ステントの拡張及び収縮を変化させることができるようにするステップをさらに含む、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目3)
前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目2に記載の方法。
(項目4)
前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目5)
前記送達システムが、前記駆動ワイヤに接続された、前記駆動ワイヤを回転させるための少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを有し、前記方法が、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを駆動するのに必要な電流を測定すること、及び
前記電流の値に基づいて前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを停止させ、それによって前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させることによって、
前記停止させるステップを実行するステップをさらに含む、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目6)
拡張する前記ステントの格子によって前記弁輪に与えられる外向きの半径方向力を、前記電流の前記値を用いて算出するステップと、
算出された前記外向きの半径方向力の値に基づいて前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを停止させ、それによって前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させるステップとをさらに含む、項目5に記載の方法。

駆動ワイヤを有する送達システムにより、ステントを低減された移植サイズまで収縮させるステップであって、前記ステントが、前記駆動ワイヤに動作可能に接続される調節可能な要素を持つ選択的に調節可能なアセンブリを有し、前記調節可能な要素が前記駆動ワイヤにより調節されるときに、前記ステントの少なくとも一部分における構成の変化が生じるようになっている、ステップと、
収縮された前記ステントを、前記ステントが移植されるべき患者固有の弁輪に挿入するステップと、
前記駆動ワイヤを前記送達システムにより回転させて、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中へ強制的に拡張させるステップと、
前記駆動ワイヤを回転させる間に、前記駆動ワイヤに加えられるトルクを送達システムにより求めるステップと、
求められた前記トルクの値に基づいて前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させるステップとを含む、ステントを移植するための方法。
(項目9)
ユーザに動的な前記トルクの値を与えて、前記ユーザが前記ステントの拡張及び収縮を変化させることができるようにするステップをさらに含む、項目8に記載の方法。
(項目10)
前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目9に記載の方法。
(項目11)
前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目8に記載の方法。
(項目12)
前記送達システムが、前記駆動ワイヤに接続された、前記駆動ワイヤを回転させるための少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを有し、前記方法が、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを駆動するのに必要な電流を測定すること、及び
前記電流の値に基づいて前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを停止させ、それによって前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させることによって、
前記停止させるステップを実行するステップをさらに含む、項目8に記載の方法。

前記移動させるステップが、前記駆動ワイヤを回転させて、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中へ強制的に拡張させるステップを含む、項目15に記載の方法。
(項目17)
ユーザに動的な前記トルクの値を与えて、前記ユーザが前記ステントの拡張及び収縮を変化させることができるようにするステップをさらに含む、項目15に記載の方法。
(項目18)
前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目17に記載の方法。

前記ステントを前記送達システムから接続解除して、前記ステントを前記弁輪の中に移植するステップをさらに含む、項目15に記載の方法。

前記送達システムが、前記駆動ワイヤに接続された、前記駆動ワイヤを回転させるための少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを有し、前記方法が、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを駆動するのに必要な電流を測定すること、及び
前記電流の値に基づいて前記少なくとも1つの駆動ワイヤモータを停止させ、それによって前記駆動ワイヤの回転を停止させることによって、

Lifesciencesによって製造されるEMBOL−X(登録商標)Glide
Protection Systemよりも良好に機能する。そのようなフィルタは、ドッキングジャッキに取り付けられ、よって、デバイスが拡張するにつれて適所で自動的に拡張するが、外科医の側でいかなる追加的な労力も伴わずに、送達システムとともに取り外される。
