Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 組織に係合する医療システムにおいて、
ハウジングであって、その近位端部と遠位端部との間に延在する内部通路および長手方向軸を画定している、ハウジング;
近位端部および遠位端部を有する、前記ハウジングに対して回動可能な第1のジョー;
近位端部および遠位端部を有する、前記ハウジングに対して回動可能な第2のジョー;
前記第1および第2のジョーの前記近位端部に係合した駆動装置であって、前記駆動装置の長手方向の移動により、前記第1および第2のジョーが前記ハウジングに対して回動する、駆動装置;
前記駆動装置と共に長手方向に移動するために前記駆動装置に選択的に接続される細長い駆動ワイヤであって、その遠位端部の近傍に拡大部分を有する、駆動ワイヤ;
連結ブロックを摺動可能に受容する大きさのルーメンを画定している管状部材であって、前記連結ブロックが、前記駆動ワイヤを摺動可能に受容する孔を画定し、前記駆動ワイヤの前記拡大部分が、前記孔よりも大きく、前記連結ブロックの遠位側に配置されている、管状部材;
を有し
前記連結ブロックは、延出位置と格納位置との間で移動可能であり、前記延出位置では、前記管状部材から突き出て、前記ハウジングの近位端部に係合するように構成されており、前記格納位置では、前記管状部材の前記ルーメン内に配置されて、前記ハウジングから外され、前記駆動ワイヤの前記拡大部分が、前記駆動ワイヤが近位側に引き戻されると前記連結ブロックに係合して、前記管状部材がその延出位置からその格納位置に移動して、前記連結ブロックが前記ハウジングから取り外される、連結ブロック
を備える、医療システム。 - 前記連結ブロックが、前記ハウジングに摩擦係合する大きさである、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結ブロックが、複数のタブを有する連結リングを備え、前記ハウジングが、前記複数のタブを受容する、前記ハウジングの近位端部まで延びた複数のスロットを有する、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記複数のスロットがそれぞれ、前記スロットの近位部分と遠位部分に分離する狭い喉部を備えている、請求項3に記載の医療システム。
- 前記ハウジングが、前記ハウジングに形成された複数のスリットをさらに備え、前記スリットがそれぞれ、前記ハウジングの可撓性を向上させるために前記スロットの遠位部分につながっている、請求項3に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結ブロックが、遠位フランジおよび近位フランジを備え、これらのフランジの間に縮径部が画定されており、前記管状部材が、前記ルーメン内に突き出て前記縮径部内に配置された、前記連結ブロックの長手方向の移動を制限するピンおよびタブの1つを備える、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結ブロックが、この連結ブロックに取り付けられた圧縮可能な部材を備え、前記圧縮可能な部材が、前記ハウジングの内面と前記連結ブロックの外面との間で圧縮される大きさである、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記管状部材の遠位端部に取り付けられたアタッチメント部材をさらに備え、前記アタッチメント部材が、前記管状部材の前記ルーメンに連通した通路を備えている、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記アタッチメント部材が、前記通路に連通した前記アタッチメント部材の端部間に直径方向に対向する開口を備えている、請求項8に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結ブロックが、遠位フランジおよび近位フランジを備え、これらのフランジの間に縮径部が画定されており、前記アタッチメント部材が、前記ルーメン内に突き出て前記縮径部内に配置された、前記連結ブロックの長手方向の移動を制限する少なくとも1つのタブを備え、前記タブが、前記アタッチメント部材と単一かつ一体に形成されている、請求項8に記載の医療システム。
- 間にスロットを有する2つの歯によって画定されたフォーク状ストラットを有するロックピンをさらに備え、前記スロットが、駆動ワイヤを受容する大きさであり、前記フォーク状ストラットが、前記アタッチメント部材の対向する開口を通過して前記連結ブロックの長手方向の移動を制限する大きさである、請求項9に記載の医療システム。
- 左側本体が右側本体に摺動可能に取り付けられたアプリケータをさらに備え、前記左側および右側本体が、前記管状部材および前記アタッチメント部材の一部を受容して、それらの位置を前記アプリケータに対して維持する大きさおよび形状の溝を備え、前記溝が、さらに、前記ロックピンの各部を受容する大きさおよび形状であり、前記左側本体と前記右側本体との相対的な移動により、前記ロックピンの前記フォーク状ストラットが、前記アタッチメント部材の前記対向する開口に対して進入する、または引き抜かれる、請求項11に記載の医療システム。
- 前記左側および右側本体がそれぞれ、医療従事者の指を受容する大きさの開口を備えている、請求項12に記載の医療システム。
- 主本体およびこの主本体から突き出たフォーク状ストラットを有するアプリケータをさらに備え、前記フォーク状ストラットが、間にスロットを有する2つの歯によって画定され、前記スロットが、前記駆動ワイヤを受容する大きさであり、前記フォーク状ストラットが、前記アタッチメント部材の対向する開口を通過して前記連結ブロックの長手方向の移動を制限する大きさである、請求項9に記載の医療システム。
- 前記主本体が、その両側に凹部を備え、これらの凹部が、医療従事者の指を受容する大きさである、請求項14に記載の医療システム。
- 前記駆動ワイヤの前記拡大部分が、遠位拡大ヘッドであり、前記駆動装置が、近位側に面したソケットを備え、前記駆動装置が、曲がって前記ソケットの大きさを調節する弾性材料から形成され、前記ソケットが、前記駆動ワイヤの前記拡大遠位ヘッドを選択的に受容する大きさである、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記駆動装置が、前記ソケットの入口部に位置するロックタブを備え、前記ロックタブの移動により、前記入口部の大きさが変化する、請求項16に記載の医療システム。
- 前記駆動装置が、前記ソケットの対向する面に2つのロックタブを備え、前記ハウジングが、前記駆動装置の長手方向の移動を案内するガイド面を備え、前記ガイド面が、前記2つのロックタブに対応する前記ハウジングの対向する面に2つの表面を備えている、請求項17に記載の医療システム。
- 前記ハウジングが、前記ガイド面の前記近位部分と前記遠位部分との間の移行部に肩を画定しており、前記ロックタブが、前記肩に係合して前記駆動装置の長手方向の移動を制限するように配置されている、請求項18に記載の医療システム。
- 前記駆動装置に対する遠位側への長手方向の力が、前記駆動装置ならびに前記第1および第2のジョーの遠位方向における長手方向の移動を可能にする所定の力に達すると、前記肩が、前記タブを前記肩に係合する位置まで曲げる、請求項18に記載の医療システム。
