Claims (24)
- 無線アクセスネットワークを動作させる方法であって、
フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)を前記無線アクセスネットワーク(24)の第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に接続する工程と、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)から、前記フェムト無線基地局と通信中のユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された情報を前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供する工程と、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)に対するアクティブ無線ネットワーク制御局ノードとして、第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)を置換するための第2の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(262)を決定するために前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記情報を用いる工程とを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記アクティブ無線ネットワーク制御局ノードとして、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)でなく前記第2の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(262)を利用するように前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)に指示する工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、デフォルト無線ネットワーク制御局ノードであり、
前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に接続するように前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)を前もって構成する工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得され、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)により前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供される前記情報は、
(1)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がロケーションエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるロケーションエリアアイデンティティ(LAI)と、
(2)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がルーティングエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるルーティングエリアアイデンティティ(RAI)との内の1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が指定された周波数で少なくとも1つのセルを検出できるように、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成する工程と、
前記指定された周波数で少なくとも1つのセルを検出する前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を用いる工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの検出したセルに関するセル識別情報を、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中の前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記情報として、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供する工程とをさらに有し、
前記指定された周波数は、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)とマクロ無線基地局の両方が使用している周波数であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が、少なくとも1つのセルを検出するために異なる周波数で動作することを可能とするように前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つのセルを検出するユーザ機器ユニット(30)を用いる工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの検出されたセルについてのセル識別情報を、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中の前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記情報として、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供する工程とをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が異なる周波数で動作することを可能とするように前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成する工程は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に対するモニタセットの試行錯誤による変更を行うことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が第1のロケーション計画に従って動作するように指示する工程と、
前記第1のロケーション計画が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)の位置を突き止めるのに十分な情報を供給できない場合、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に第2のロケーション計画方策に従って動作するように指示する工程とをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のロケーション計画は、
前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が指定された周波数で少なくとも1つのセルを検出できるように、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成することを含み、
前記第2のロケーション計画は、
前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が、少なくとも1つのセルを検出するために異なる周波数で動作することを可能とするように前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記異なる周波数は、周波数の異なるセルの周波数と、無線アクセス技術(RAT)の異なるセルの周波数の両方、或いは、いずれか1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 無線アクセスネットワーク(24)の第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に接続され、その後、通信中のユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得した位置表示情報を前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供するように構成されたフェムト無線基地局(28f-new)であって、
その後、さらに前記位置表示情報に基づいたリダイレクション情報の受信時に、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)に対するアクティブ無線ネットワーク制御局ノードとして、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)を第2の無線ネットワーク制御局(262)で置換するように構成されることを特徴とするフェムト無線基地局。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、デフォルト無線ネットワーク制御局ノードであり、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)は、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に接続するように前もって構成されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のフェムト無線基地局。 - 前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得され、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)を介して前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)に提供される前記位置表示情報は、
(1)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がロケーションエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるロケーションエリアアイデンティティ(LAI)と、
(2)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がルーティングエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるルーティングエリアアイデンティティ(RAI)との内の1つであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のフェムト無線基地局。 - 前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記位置表示情報は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)によって検出されたセル識別情報であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のフェムト無線基地局。
- 無線アクセスネットワーク(24)の無線ネットワーク制御局ノードであって、
前記無線ネットワーク制御局ノードは、フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中のユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得した位置表示情報を使用し、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)がそのアクティブ無線ネットワーク制御局ノードとして、他のどの無線ネットワーク制御局ノードを使用すべきかを決定するように構成されることを特徴とする無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記無線ネットワーク制御局ノードは、前記アクティブ無線ネットワーク制御局ノードとして第2の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(262)を利用するように前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)に指示するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。
- 前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得され、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)により前記無線ネットワーク制御局ノードに提供される前記情報は、
(1)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がロケーションエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるロケーションエリアアイデンティティ(LAI)と、
(2)前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)のセルに入り、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)がルーティングエリア更新を実行するとき、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得されるルーティングエリアアイデンティティ(RAI)との内の1つであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、少なくとも1つのセルを検出するよう前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に指示するようにさらに構成され、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中の前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記位置表示情報は、前記少なくとも1つのセルについてのセル識別情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、指定された周波数で少なくとも1つのセルを検出するよう前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に指示するようにさらに構成され、
前記指定された周波数は、前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)とマクロ無線基地局の両方により使用される周波数であり、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中の前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記位置表示情報は、前記少なくとも1つの検出されたセルについてのセル識別情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、異なる周波数で動作することにより少なくとも1つのセルを検出するよう前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に指示するようにさらに構成され、
前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)と通信中の前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)から取得された前記位置表示情報は、前記少なくとも1つの検出されたセルについてのセル識別情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に対するモニタセットの変更のために試行錯誤によるアプローチで動作することを可能にさせるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。
- 前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、第1のロケーション計画に従って動作するように前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に指示するように構成され、
前記第1のロケーション計画が前記フェムト無線基地局(28f-new)の位置を突き止めるのに十分な情報を供給できない場合、前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)は、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)に第2のロケーション計画に従って動作するよう指示するようさらに構成されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記第1のロケーション計画は、
前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が指定された周波数で少なくとも1つのセルを検出できるように、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成することを含み、
前記第2のロケーション計画は、
前記第1の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード(261)が、前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)が、少なくとも1つのセルを検出するために異なる周波数で動作することを可能とするように前記ユーザ機器ユニット(30)を構成することを含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。 - 前記異なる周波数は、周波数の異なるセルの周波数と、無線アクセス技術(RAT)の異なるセルの周波数の両方、或いは、いずれか1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項23に記載の無線ネットワーク制御局ノード。
