Description
1.第1不連続周期として、不連続周期が極めて長い状態で、不連続動作の周期が無限のように見える非活性状態
2.第2不連続周期として、第1不連続周期に比べて短い状態
3.不連続動作の周期が0の状態、すなわち、連続的な動作状態
すると、上記のように3通りに基地局の動作を区分できる状況において、基地局の動作状態の変更について述べる。
Claims (7)
- 第1基地局の動作方法であって、
第1基地局のカバレッジと、前記第1基地局に隣接する第2基地局のカバレッジとで許容移動端末が存在するか否かを確認するステップと、
前記第1基地局のカバレッジ及び前記第2基地局のカバレッジで前記許容移動端末が存在しなければ、予め決定された第1周期で不連続動作するステップと、
を含み、
前記許容移動端末は、活性状態の移動端末及び非活性状態の移動端末を含み、
前記不連続動作は、予め決定された周期に応じて前記第1基地局の送信及び受信の活性区間と非活性区間が周期的に繰り返されることを特徴とする第1基地局の動作方法。 - 前記第1基地局のカバレッジに前記許容移動端末が進入することを確認するか、または前記許容移動端末のキャンプ情報を前記第2基地局から受信すれば、前記第1基地局が活性状態に遷移するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の第1基地局の動作方法。
- 前記許容移動端末が前記第2基地局に伝送するハンドオーバ要請情報を利用して、前記許容移動端末が前記第1基地局のカバレッジに進入することを確認することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の第1基地局の動作方法。
- 前記許容移動端末が非活性状態で前記第2基地局のカバレッジに進入すれば、前記第1基地局が前記第1周期でのオン/オフ割合より大きいオン/オフ割合を有する予め決定された第2周期で不連続動作するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の第1基地局の動作方法。
- 前記第1基地局の追跡領域識別子は、前記第2基地局の追跡領域識別子と相違していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の第1基地局の動作方法。
- 基地局において、
移動端末とデータ及びシグナリングを送受信するデータ処理部と、
ネットワークへのデータ処理を行うネットワーク処理部と、
前記基地局のカバレッジ及び前記基地局に隣接する隣接基地局のカバレッジに許容移動端末が存在しなければ、前記データ処理部を予め決定された周期で不連続動作させる制御部と、
を含み、
前記許容移動端末は、活性状態の移動端末及び非活性状態の移動端末を含み、
前記不連続動作は、予め決定された周期に応じて前記第1基地局の送信及び受信の活性区間と非活性区間が周期的に繰り返されることを特徴とする基地局。 - 前記ネットワーク処理部を介して前記隣接基地局から前記許容移動端末のキャンプ情報を受信すれば、前記制御部は、前記データ処理部を活性状態に遷移することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の基地局。
