Claims (14)

  1. 下記の式(I)又は式(II)、
    式中、記号及び添字は以下の通りに定義される:
    Mは、Irであり;
    Xは、O、Sであり;
    Yは、R−C=C−R、R−C=Nであり;
    Rは、それぞれの存在について同一又は異なり、H、F、CN、1〜20個の炭素原子を有する直鎖若しくは分枝鎖若しくは環状アルキル若しくはアルコキシ基、又は4〜14個の炭素原子を有しかつ1以上の非芳香族基 で置換されてもよいアリール若しくはヘテロアリール基であり;非芳香族基R は、H、F、CN、又は1〜20個の炭素原子を有する直鎖若しくは分枝鎖若しくは環状アルキル若しくはアルコキシ基であり;
    Arは、ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、フルオロベンゼン、ジフルオロベンゼン、ジフェニル、1,2−又は1,3−又は1,4−テルフェニレン、テトラフェニレン、ナフタレン、フルオレン、1,3,5−トリフェニルベンゼン、ピリジン、ピリダジン、ピリミジン、ピラジン及び1,3,5−トリアジンからなる群より選択される、アリール又はヘテロアリール基であり、
    Qはそれぞれの存在で同一又は異なり、F、Cl、Br、I、CN、1〜20個の炭素原子を有する直鎖若しくは分枝鎖若しくは環状アルキル若しくはアルコキシ基、又は4〜14個の炭素原子を有しかつ1以上の非芳香族基 で置換されてもよいアリール若しくはヘテロアリール基であり;非芳香族基R は、H、F、CN、又は1〜20個の炭素原子を有する直鎖若しくは分枝鎖若しくは環状アルキル若しくはアルコキシ基であり;
    aは、0、1又は2であり
    bは、0又は1であり;
    cは、0、1、2、3、4、又は5であり;
    nは、1、2又は3であり;
    以下の化合物は除外する:
    ただし、Cは2−エチルへキシルである、
    の化合物。
  2. b=0であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の化合物。
  3. 前記Arが、ベンゼン又はナフタレンであることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の化合物。
  4. 前記Qが、F、Cl、Br、CN、又は炭素原子1〜6個を持つ直鎖若しくは分枝鎖状若しくは環状アルキル又はアルコキシ基であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の化合物。
  5. 前記cが1以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の化合物。
  6. 式(III)又は(IV)の化合物を、
    式中、記号及び添字M、X、Y、R、a、b及びnは請求項1で定義したのと同様であり、及び:
    ZはCl、Br又はIである、
    式(V)のアリールホウ酸又はアリールホウ酸エステルと、
    式中、記号及び添字Q、Ar及びcは請求項1に記載したのと同様であり
    ’はそれぞれの存在で同一又は異なり、H又は、炭素原子1〜20個の脂肪族若しくは芳香族炭化水素基であり、複数の置換基R’は単環又は多環状環系を形成してもよい、反応媒体中及び遷移金属若しくは遷移金属化合物、リン含有若しくは窒素含有添加剤及び塩基の存在下で、反応させることによる請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の化合物を調製する方法。
  7. 純度が H−NMR及び/又はHPLCを用いて決定される際に99%より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の化合物。
  8. 非共役、部分共役又は共役重合体と、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の化合物との混合物。
  9. 重合体は、ポリフルオレン、ポリスピロビフルオレン、ポリ−パラ−フェニレン、ポリカルバゾール、ポリビニルカルバゾール、ポリチオフェン及びこれらの複数のユニットを含む共重合体からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の混合物。
  10. 重合体が有機溶媒に溶解するものであることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の混合物。
  11. 有機エレクトロルミネセンス及び/又は燐光デバイスにおける請求項1〜5もしくは7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物、又は請求項6に記載の方法によって調製された化合物の使用。
  12. 有機エレクトロルミネセンス及び/又は燐光デバイスにおける発光層(EML)としての、請求項1〜5もしくは7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物又は、請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載の混合物の使用。
  13. 太陽電池、有機光検出器又は有機太陽電池等の光起電性デバイス、有機ICs(有機集積回路)、有機電界効果トランジスター(OTETs)、有機薄膜トランジスター又は有機固体レーザー層における請求項1〜5もしくは7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物、あるいは請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載に混合物の使用。
  14. 請求項1〜5もしくは7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物又は請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載の混合物を含む電子工学部品。
