Salpicadero de vehículo, compuesto por al menos un soporte transversal (3), una cubierta vista (S), una instalación de calefacción o de aire acondicionado (H) y por elementos de mando a modo de unidad de montaje preinstalada en vehículos con una protección de seguridad contra choques, la cual muestra un perfil con forma de caja (2) de la carrocería (K) que se extiende bajo el borde del parabrisas, el cual se completa a modo de sistema cerrado mediante el soporte transversal (3), y por lo menos tiene montada, entre el perfil con forma de caja (2) y el soporte transversal (3), una pieza perfilada plana (41), la cual, en caso de un choque frontal, acopla el perfil con forma de caja (2) y el soporte transversal (3) absorbiendo energía, caracterizado porque la pieza perfilada plana (41) sirve como chapa de montaje para los elementos funcionales y de mando.
