ungesättigten Verbindung mit der Vinylsiliciumverbindung
erhalten werden. Der Zweck der Verwendung dieses Komplexes aus Platinhalogenid und Vinylsiliciumverbindung
ist es, nicht näher genannte Nachteile von Katalysatoren, wie organischer Peroxide, platinierter
Aktivkohle, metallischem Platin, Chlorplatinsäure und verschiedener Komplexe aus einem Platinhalogenid
und einem Olefin zu überwinden. Als wesentlicher Vorteil des verwendeten Komplexkatalysators ist
dessen Löslichkeit bei den Organosiliciumverbindungen genannt Demgegenüber liegt der Erfindung die
Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines
Platinchlorid/Organo-cycIopolysiloxan-Katalysators
der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, bei dem ein Katalysator erhalten wird für ein Verfahren zur
Anlagerung des an Silicium gebundenen Wasserstoffes eines Organopolysiloxans der Formel
an die an Silicium gebundenen aliphatisch ungesättigten Gruppen eines Organopolysiloxans der Formel
n-ft
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst,
daß als Vinylsiliciumverbindung ein cyclisches Alkylvinylpolysiloxan
der Formel
[(CH2=CH) (R)SiO]1,
worin R für einen niederen Alkylresi steht und π eine
ganze Zahl von 3 bis einschließlich 5 ist, eineesetzt wird.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zur Anlagerung des Organopoiysiloxans der Formel (I) an das
Organopolysiloxan der Formel (II) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß aus den beiden Organopolysiloxanen (I)
und (II) und einem Katalysator nach Anspruch 1 eine Mischung gebildet wird, wobei in obigen Formeln R' ein
organischer Rest ohne aliphatische Ungesättigtheit, R" eine Vinyl- oder Allylgruppe ist, a einen Wert von 1,0 bis
einschließlich 2£; b einen Wert von 0,005 bis
einschließlich 2,0 aufweist und die Summe von a + b = 1,005 bis einschließlich 3,0 beträgt, und die
Mischung auf mindestens 500C erhitzt wird.
Die obigen Platinchlorid-Olefin-Komplexe sind bekannt
und werden in der US-PS 31 59 601 beschrieben. Beispiele von Olefinen für diese Platin/Olefin-Komplexe
sind Äthylen, Propylen, die verschiedenen Butylenisomere,
Octylen, Cyclopenten. Cyclohexen und Cyclohepten. Bevorzugt ist der Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplex
mit Äthylen der die folgende Formel hat:
Die cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxane der Formel III
sind allgemein bekannt und umfassen Stoffe, in denen R die Methyl-, Äthyl-, Propyl-, Butyl-, oder Heptylgruppe
bedeutet In der bevorzugten Äusführungsform der Erfindung ist R der Methylrest. Vorzugsweise ist der

Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Katalysatoren werden durch Erhitzen einer Mischung des Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes
und des cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxans
auf eine Temperatur und über einen Zeitraum erhalten, die ausreichen, das Olefin des Platinchlorid/
Olefin-Komplexes aus der Reaktionsmischung zu -, entfernen. Im besonderen wird die Umsetzung durch
Erhitzen einer Mischung des Platinchlorid/OleFm-Komplexes
einer der obigen Formeln mit dem cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan der Formel (III) auf eine
Temperatur von mindestens 50° C, z. B. von 50 bis 150° C
κι durchgeführt Obwohl der genaue Reaktionsmechanismus
der Umsetzung des Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes der obigen Formeln mit dem cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan
der Formel (III) nicht mit Sicherheit bekannt ist, unterscheidet sie sich von der in der

Umsetzung dadurch, daß sich das Verhältnis von Chlor zu Platin während der erfindungsgemäßen
Herstellung des Katalysators nicht ändert Im Gegensatz hierzu wird in der vorgenannten deutschen
>n Patentanmeldung das Verhältnis von Chlor zu Platin
bedeutend vermindert
Die Anteile des Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes der obigen Formeln und des cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxans
der Formel (III) können innerhalb weiter (II) .'">
Grenzen schwanken. Obwohl die theoretische Stöchiometrie der Umsetzung zur Bildung des erfindungsgemäß
hergestellten Katalysators eine Reaktionsmischung wünschenswert erscheinen lassen mag, die eine
an ein Siliciumatom gebundene Vinylgruppe aus dem cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan pro Olefingruppe des
Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes enthält, hat sich ge-(III) zeigt, daß die erfindungsgemäße Umsetzung am besten
unter Verwendung eines beträchtlichen Überschusses der an Silicium gebundenen Vinylgruppen durchgeführt
η werden kann. Besonders hat sich gezeigt daß das Verfahren der Erfindung am leichtesten ausgeführt
werden kann, wenn eine Mischung, die von 10 bis 300 oder mehr Mol der an Silicium gebundenen Vinylgruppen
pro Mol Olefin des PlatinchlorieVOlefiv. -Komplexes
enthält erhitzt wird. Dadurch wird offenbar eine zusätzliche Menge des cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxans
zur Verfugung gestellt das als Lösungsmittel für die bei dem Verfahren verwendeten Reaktionsteilnehmer
und erhaltenen Reaktionsprodukte dient Die
ι Anwesenheit einer Überschusses an cyclischen! Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan
hat dabei keine nachteilige Wirkung auf die Verwendung des erhaltenen Katalysators in der
anschließenden Hydrolysierungsreaktion, da die Menge des in solchen Hydrolysierungsreaktionen verwendeten
in Katafysators so gering ist, daß das nicht umgesetzte
cyclische Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan keine meßbare Wirkung at'f den Verlauf der Hydrolisierungsreaktion
ausübt.

Formel (III) vermischt und die Reaktionsmischung anschließend erhitzt, kann der Verlauf der Reaktion
daran verfolgt werden, wie das im Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplex gebundene Olefin aus der Reaktionsmischung
w) emporperlt. Die Temperatur der Reaktionsmischung
wird gerade oberhalb des Siedepunktes des Olefins gehalten, um sicherzustellen, daß das Olefin während
der Herstellung des Katalysators aus der Reaktionsmischung entfernt wird. Da die bevorzugten Olefine
b) Siedepunkte unter 1500C aufweisen, besteht keine
Notwendigkeit, die Reaktion bei vermindertem Druck durchzuführen- Deshalb liegen die Anforderungen an
die Reaktiönstempefätur bei einer Temperatur von
mindestens 500C, da sie mindestens so hoch sein muß
wie der Siedepunkt des ais Bestandteil des anfänglichen Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes vorliegenden Olefins.
Die zur vollständigen Umsetzung des Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes und des cyclischen Alkylvimyl-Polysiloxans
notwendige Zeit ist eine Funktion des jeweiligen Plaiinchlorid/Olcfinkomplexes, des jeweiligen cyclischen
Alkylvinyl-PoIysÜGxans und der Reaklionstemperatur,
liegt aber für das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zum Herstellen des Katalysators im allgemeinen in der
Größenordnung von 1 bis 2 Stunden. Der erhaltene Katalysator besteht aus einer Lösung des Reaktionsproduktes
des Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplexes mit dem cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan in einem Oberschuß
des cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxans.
Der erfindungsgemäß erhaltene Platinchiorid/OrganopoIysiloxan-Katalysator
kann für Hydrosilierungsreaktionen zwischen verschiedenen Polysiloxanen eingesetzt
werden, von denen eines an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen enthält. Die an Silicium
gebundenen Wasserstoffatome enthaltenden Organopolysiloxane,
die der Hydrosilierungsrea,uion gemäß der Erfindung verwendet werden, haben die Formel
einschließlich 3,0 beträgt und m einen Wert von 1,0 bis
einschließlich 2,5 aufweist In den Bereich der Formel (Ia) fallen Siloxan-Einheiten, wie Hydrogensiloxan
(HSiOi5), Methylhydrogensiloxan, Dimethylhydrogensiloxan
Methylhydrogensiloxan, Dimethylhydrogensiloxan und Dihydrogensiloxan (HiSiO). Die die Siloxan-Einheiten
der Formel (Ia) und die Siloxan-Einheiten der Formel (Ib) enthaltenen Copolymere liegen in solchen
Verhältnissen vor, daß ein Organopolysiloxanhydrid der Formel (I) erhalten wird. Im allgemeinen enthalten die
Copolymeren von 0,5 bis 99,5 Mol-% Siloxaneinheiten
der Formel (Ia) und 0,5 bis 99,5 Mol-% Siloxaneinheiten der Formel (Ib).
Die Organopolysiloxanhydride sind bekannt und umfassen Stoffe wie 13-Dimethyldisiloxan, 1,1,3-Trimethyldisiloxan,
1,133-TetramethyIdisiIoxan ebenso wie
höhere Polymere, die bis zu 100 000 oder mehr Siliciumatome pro Molekül enthalten. Jn den Bereich
der Formel (I) fallen auch cyclische Verbindungen, z. B.
das cyclische Trimer oder cy '-sehe Tetramer des
Methyl-II-Siloxans.
Die an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen enthaltende Organopolysiloxane der Formel
(R)11(H^SiO4

worin R' ein über Silicium-Kohlenstoffbindungen an Silicium gebundener Rest ohne aliphatisch« Ungesättigtheit
ist, a einen Wert von 0,1 bis einschließlich 2,5; b einen Wert von 0,005 bis einschließlich 2.0 aufweist und
die Summe von a + b gleich 1.005 bis einschließlich 3,0 beträgt. Zu den für R' stehenden organischen Resten in
Formel (I) gehören einwertige Kohlenwasserstoffreste ohne olefinische Ungesättigtheit, halogenierte einwertige
Kohlenwasserstoffreste ohne aliphatische Ungesättigtheit und Cyanalkylreste. Beispiele der Reste, für die
R' steht, sind von den Alkylresten Methyl, Äthyl, Propyl. Butyl und Octyl; von den Cycloalkylresten Cyclohexyl
und Cyclrheptyl, von den Arylresten Phenyl, Naphthyl.
ToIyI und XyIyI; von den Aralkylresten Benzyl.
Phenylethyl und Phenylpropyl; von den halogenierten Resten der obigen Gruppen Chlormethyl, Chlorpropyl,
Chlorphenyl und Dibromphenyl; und von den Cyanoalkylresten
0-Cyanäthyl, y-Cyanpropyl und jJ-Cyanpropyl.
Vorzugsweise sind mindestens M% der an Silizium
gebundenen Reste R' der Organopolysiloxane der Formel (I) Methylreste, wobei bis zu 50 Mol-% der
Reste R' Phenylreste sind. Die Polysiloxane der Formel I werden im folgenden auch als »Organopolysiloxanhydride«
bezeichnet.
Die bei der Ausführung der Erfindung verwendeten Organopolysiloxanhydride können auch als Copolymere
charakterisiert werden, die pro Molekül wenigstens eine Einheit der lolgenden Formel aufweisen:

Verwendung finden, sind ebenfalls bekannt. Diese Vinyl oder Allyl enthaltenden Organopolysiloxane
werden im folgenden auch als »ungesättigte Organopolysiloxane« bezeichnet und können als Copolymere
von Siloxaneinheiten folgender Formel

Formel (Ib) charakterisiert werden. Ist das ungesättigte Organopolysiloxan ein Copolymeres von Siloxaneinheiten
der Formel (Ha) und Siloxaneinheiten der Formel (Hb), dann enthält das Copolymere irn allgemeinen 0,5
bis 99,5 Mol-% der in den Bereich der Formel (Ib) fallenden Einheiten.
Die Herstellung der ungesättigten Organopolysiloxane der Formel (II) ist bekannt. Zu den ungesättigten
Organopolysiloxanen der Formel (II) gehören niedermolekulare Stolfe, wie Vinylpentamethyldisiloxan,
1,3-Divinyltetramethyldisiloxan, 1,1,3-TrivinyItrimethyldisi'oxan,
1.1,3,3-TetravinyldimethyIdisiloxan, sowie höhere
Polymere, die bis zu 100 000 oder mehr Siliciumatome pro Molekül enthalten. Beispiele der
ungesättigten Organopolysiloxane der Formel (II) sind auch cyclische Verbindungen, die an Silicium gebundene
Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen enthalten, wie die Trimeren, Tetrameren od· c Pentameren des Methylvinylsiloxans
der Methylallylsiloxans.
Bei der Durchführung des Anlagerungsverfahrens gemäß der Erfindung werden der Platiniihlorid/OrganocycIopolysiloxan-Katalysatör,
das Ungesättigte Organopolysiloxan der Formel (II) und das Organopolysiloxanhydrid
der Formei (I) in den gewünschten Verhältnissen zusammengemischt und bei einer Reaktionstemperatur
gehalten, die ausreicht, die Reaktion zu Ende zu führen. Die Anteile der verschierlenfn hi?i Ηργ nnlft
des Anlagerungsverfahrens nach der Erfindung verwen^
deten Reaktanten können innerhalb sehr weiter Grenzen schwanken und werden nicht durch die
Stöchiornelrie der betreffenden Additionsfeaktion beeinflußt,
da viele der nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten Produkte für die gewünschten
Zwecke befriedigende Eigenschaften zeigen, auch wenn das Endprodukt nicht umgesetzte an Silicium gebundene
Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen oder nicht umgesetzte Silicium-Wasserstoff-Bindungen enthält. Aus Gründen
der Wirtschaftlichkeit ist es im allgemeinen vorzuziehen, daß ungesättigtes Organopolysiloxan und Organopolysiloxanhydrid
in solchen Verhältnissen vorliegen, daß die Reaktionsmischling etwa 0,05 bis 20 Silicium-Wasserstoffbindungen
pro an Silicium gebundenen Vinyl- oder Allylrest enthält. Es ist oft wünschenswert,
daß in der Reaktionsmischung eine gleiche Anzahl von Siiicium-Wasserstoffbindungen und Vinyi- oder Aiiyirest
Allylreste vorhanden ist, damit ein Endprodukt entsteht, das im wesentlichen weder Siiicium-Wasserstoffbindungen
noch an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen enthält, mit Ausnahme des unbedeutenden
Anteils der an Silicium gebundenen Vinylreste, die in dem als Lösungsmittel für den Katalysatorkomplex
dienenden cyclischen Alkylvinyl-Polysiloxan der Formel (III) enthalten sind und in die Reaktionsmischung
eingeführt werden.
Der erfindungsgemäß erhaltene Platinchlorid-Organocyclopolysiloxan-Katalysator
wird im allgemeinen der Reaktionsmischung für die Anlagerung in einer Menge zugegeben, die der Menge der an Silicium
gebundenen Vinyl- oder Allylreste in dem ungesättigten Organopolysiloxan entspricht Ein besonders vorteilhaftes
Merkmal des erfindungsgemäßen Anlagerungsverfahrens besteht darin, daß der Katalysator in relativ
kleinen Mengen zugesetzt werden kann und trotzdem bei der Addition von Si-H-Bindungen an Vinyl- oder
Allylreste, die an Silicium gebunden sind, zufriedenstellende katalytische Wirksamkeit zeigt So verläuft die
Reaktion in befriedigender Weise, wenn der Katalysator in einer Menge vorliegt, die ausreicht, nur ein Atom
Platin pro Million an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylreste des ungesättigten Organopolysiloxans zur
Verfügung zu stellen. Der Katalysator kann in einer Menge verwendet werden, die ausreicht, bis zu 1
Platinatom pro 1000 an Silicium gebundene Vinyi- oder
Allylreste zur Verfugung zu stellen. Im allgemeinen wird
es vorgezogen, den Katalysator in einer Menge einzusetzen, die ausreicht, um ein Platinatom pro 1000
bis 100 000 an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylreste
des ungesättigten Organosiloxans zur Verfugung zu stellen.
Die Eigenschaften der nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Anlagerungsverfahren hergestellten Produkte können
je nach der Natur der Ausgangsmaterialien stark schwanken. Umfaßt die Reaktionsmischung z. B. Vinylpentamethyldisiloxan
und Pentamethyldisiloxan, so enthält das Reaktionsprodukt zwei durch eine Siläthylengruppe
verbundene Disiloxaneinheiten. Für den Fall, daß die Reaktionsmischung eine Verbindung wie
l,l,3,3-TetramethyIdisuOxan und ein hochmolekulares
Organopolysiloxan enthält, das eine Vielzahl von an Silicium gebundene Vinyl- oder Allylgruppen pro
Molekül enthält ist das entstehende Produkt ein vernetztes Silicon.
Das erfindungsgemäße Anlagerungsverfahren ist, verglichen mit den meisten platinkatalysierten Silylierangsreaktionen,
insofern eigenartig, als der Katalysator, das Organopolysiloxanhydrid und das ungesättigte
Organopolysiloxan zusammengemischt und bei Raumtemperatur, d.h. bei 20—30°C, über einen längeren
Zeitraum hinweg stehengelassen werden können. Um ■5 die Hydrosilierungsreaktion durchzuführen, wird die
Reaktionsmischung anschließend nur auf die Reaktionstemperatur erhitzt und für eine Zeit, die ausreicht, die
Hydrosilierungsreaktion zu Ende zu führen, bei dieser Temperatur belassen. Im allgemeinen ist die Rcaktions-
Ki geschwindigkeit eine Funktion der Reaktionstemperatur,
obwohl unterhalb einer Temperatur von 50° C die Geschwindigkeit der Hydrosilierungsreaktion so gering
ist, daß die Anwendung solcher Temperaturen keinen Zweck hätte. Auf der anderen Seite scheint der
erfindungsgemäß hergestellte Katalysator bei 50° C aktiviert zu werden und die Reaktion sehr schnell
fortzuschreiten, wobei die Geschwindigkeit mit der Temperatur und mii der Zunahme der Kaiaiysaiorkonzentration
in der Reaktionsmischung zunimmt Die folgenden Beispiele dienen zur Erläuterung der
Erfindung. Alle angegebenen Teile sind Gewichtsteile.
Ein Platinchlorid/Organocyclopolysiloxan-Katalysator
wurde dadurch hergestellt daß man 4,5 Teile eines Platinchlorid/Äthylen-Komplexes der Formel
[PtCl2 · C2Ht]2
zu 295,5 Teilen
J(i clotetrasiloxan hinzugab. Die Reaktionsmischung wurde etwa 30 Minuten lang gemischt bis der Platinchlorid/ Äthylen-Komplex in dem Cyclotetrasiloxan aufgelöst war. Anschließend erhitzte man die Reaktionsmischung eine Stunde auf 60°C Während der ersten 30 bis 40 Minuten des Erhitzens bei 60°C war die Entwicklung einer reichlichen Gasmenge zu beobachten. Dieses Gas wurde aufgefangen und als Äthylen identifiziert Die aufgefangene Menge war im wesentlichen gleich der aus der Zersetzung des Platinchlorid/Äthylen-Komplexes zu erwartenden Menge. Der erhaltene Katalysator war eine farblose Flüssigkeit die 1 Gew.-% Platin und zwei Chloratome pro Platinatom enthielt Diese Katalysatorzusammensetzung enthielt etwa 230 Mole an Silicium gebundene Vinylgruppen pro Platinatom.
J(i clotetrasiloxan hinzugab. Die Reaktionsmischung wurde etwa 30 Minuten lang gemischt bis der Platinchlorid/ Äthylen-Komplex in dem Cyclotetrasiloxan aufgelöst war. Anschließend erhitzte man die Reaktionsmischung eine Stunde auf 60°C Während der ersten 30 bis 40 Minuten des Erhitzens bei 60°C war die Entwicklung einer reichlichen Gasmenge zu beobachten. Dieses Gas wurde aufgefangen und als Äthylen identifiziert Die aufgefangene Menge war im wesentlichen gleich der aus der Zersetzung des Platinchlorid/Äthylen-Komplexes zu erwartenden Menge. Der erhaltene Katalysator war eine farblose Flüssigkeit die 1 Gew.-% Platin und zwei Chloratome pro Platinatom enthielt Diese Katalysatorzusammensetzung enthielt etwa 230 Mole an Silicium gebundene Vinylgruppen pro Platinatom.
Zu einer Mischung aus a) 675 Teilen flüssigen Dimethylpolysiloxans mit endständigem Vinylmethyl,
das eine Viskosität von etwa 400OcSt (25° Q aufwies,
und b) 225 Teilen eines aus Trimethylsfloxan-, SiO2- und
Methylvinylsiloxan-Einheiten bestehenden Copolymeren,
wobei die verschiedenen Einheiten in einer Menge anwesend waren, daß 0,8 TrimethylsOoxaneinheiten pro
SiO^Einheit vorlagen und die Methylvinylsüoxanem-
Si heiten in einer Menge anwesend waren, daß 7,0 Mol-%
Siliciumaton als Methylvinylsiloxaneinheiten und die
restlichen Silidumatone als Teil einer Trimethylsiloxaneinheit
oder als SiOrEinheit vorlagen, wurde c) eine ausreichende Menge der in Beispiel 1 hergestellten
fio Platin-Katalysatorzusaniniensetzung hinzugegeben, damit
10 Teile Platin pro Million Teile (nachfolgend »ppm« genannt) der Mischung vorhanden waren. Zu der
oben beschriebenen Mischung wurden anschließend d) zusätzlich 45 Teile des flüssigen Dimethylpolysiloxans
t>5 mit endständigem Vinyldimethyl und ε) 45" Teile eines
aus zwei Dimethyl-H-Süoxaneinheiten pro SiO2-Einheit
bestehenden Copolymeren hinzugegeben. Dieses Copolymere hatte eine Viskosität von 10 cSt Ein Teil dieser
Reaktionsmischung wurde darauf 4 Stunden bei 65,5° C
erhitzt und ergab ein klares Siliconelastomer mit einer Zugfestigkeit von 63,0 kp/cm2, einer Dehnung von 170%
und einer Härte (Shore Ä) von 37. Eine andere Probe dieser katalysierten Zusammensetzung wurde eine
Woche bei 25° C gehalten und blieb dabei flüssig. Wurde diese gelagerte Probe anschließend auf 65,5° C erhitzt,
so ei'fiärtete sie in ähnlicher Weise wie die oben
gehärtete Probe.
Zu einer Reaktionsmischung, die 840 Teile flüssiges Dimethylpolysiloxan mit endständigem Dimethylvinyl
nach Beispiel 1 enthielt, wurden 0,4 Teile der Katalysatorzusammensetzung nach Beispiel 1 hinzugegeben,
was ausreichte, um 5 ppm Platin zur Verfügung zu stellen. Zu dieser Mischung wurden 40 Teile des
Dimethyl-H enthaltenden Copolymeren nach Beispiel 2 hinzugegeben. Nachdem die Reaktionsteitnehmer
gründlich gemischt waren, wurde die Reaktionsmischung auf 65° C erhitzt und ergab ein weiches
transparentes Gel, das für Dämpfungszwecke brauchbar war.
Zu 4000 Teilen eines ungesättigten Organopolysiloxans
wurden 8 Teile der Katalysatorlösung nach Beispiel 1 hinzugegeben. Das ungesättigte Organopolysiloxan
bestand aus einer Mischung aus 6000 Teilen eines Dimethylpolysiloxans mit endständigem Dimethyl·
nyl, das eine Viskosität von 500 00OcSt (25° C) aufwies, und 2000 Teilen des ungesättigten Harzes nach
Beispiel 2. Die entstehende Lösung hatte eine Viskosität von 380 00OcSt (25"C). Zu diesem katalysierten
ungesättigten Organopolysiloxan wurde eine Lösung Von 260 Teilen des Dimethyl-H-Siloxancopolymeren
nach Beispiel 2 und 260 Teilen der oben beschriebenen Flüssigkeit mit endständigem Dimethylvinyl hinzugegeben.
Diese Reaktionsmischung wurde 4 Stunden bei 65,5° C gehalten und zu einem klaren Silicongummi
gehärtet, der eine Zugfestigkeit von 56,7 kp/cm2, eine
Dehnung von 600%, eine I- arte (Shore A) von 45 und eine Reißfestigkeit von 14,3 kp/cm aufwies.
Durch Zugabe von 0,4 Teil der Katalysatorlösung nach Beispiel 1 zu 400 Teilen eines Copolymeren mit
endständigem Dimethylvinyl aus Diphenylsiloxaneinheiten und Methylvmyfefloxaneinheiten, in welchen 53
iVfoi-% der Sflidumatome durch zwei an Silicium
gebundene Phenylgruppen substituiert waren, wurde
ein katalysiertes ungesättigtes Organopolysiloxan hergestellt. Zu 50 Teilen dieses ungesättigten Organopolysiloxans
und dem Katalysator wurde eine Lösung von 0,75 Teilen des in Beispiel 2 beschriebenen Dunethyl-H-Sfloxancopolymeren
in 0,75 Teilen des oben beschriebenen flüssigen Organopolysiloxans hinzugegeben. Die
entstandene katalysierte Mischung wurde eine Stunde auf 100° C erhitzt, wobei sich der flüssige Stoff in ein
festes Gel verwandelte, das eine Zugfestigkeit von
5,6 kp/cm2, eine Dehnung von 200% und eine Härte
(Shore A) von 26 aufwies.
Es wurde eine Mischung hergestellt ans a) 400 Teilen
flüssigen Dimethylpolysiloxans mit endständigem Dimethytvinyl
(600 cSt), b) 200 Teilen eines Copolymeren mit endständigem TrimethylsilyL das eine Viskosität von
100 cSt (25"C) aufwies und 1,5 Mol-% Methylvinylsiloxaneinheiten
enthielt, wobei die übrigen difunktionellen Einheiten Dimethylsiloxaneinheiten waren, c) 200
Teilen eines harzartigen Copolymeren aus Trimethylsil-■>
oxaneinheiten und SiC^-Einheiten, das 0,50 Trimethylsiloxaneinheiten
pro SiO2-Einheit enthielt, und d) einer ausreichenden Menge des Katalysators nach Beispiel 1,
um 10 ppm Platin zur Verfugung zu haben. Die
Viskosität dieser Mischung betrug 500 cSt (25"C). Zu 10
in Teilen dieser Mischung gab man e) ein Teil des Dimethyl-H-Siloxancopolymeren nach Beispiel 2 und
erhitzte die entstandene Mischung eine Stunde auf 100°C. Es wurde ein vernetztes Gel erhalten, das eine
Zugfestigkeit von 9,1 kp/cm2, eine Dehnbarkeit von
ti 80%, eine Härte (Shore A) von 30 und eine Elastizität
nach Bayshore von 21 aufwies.
Es wurde eine ungesättigte Organopolysiloxanlösung hergestellt, indem 675 Teile des flüssigen Dimethylpolysiloxans
mit endständigem Dimethylvinyl und einer Viskosität von 3800 cSt mit 225 Teilen des Trimethylsiloxan-SiC^-MethylvinylsiloxancopoIymeren
nach Beispiel 2 vermischt wurden. Diese Mischung wurde anschließend mit 450 Teilen feinverteilten Kohlenstoffs
vermischt Anschließend gab man zu dieser Mischung eine für 10 ppm Platin ausreichende Menge der
Katalysatorlösung des Beispiels 1 hinzu. Dann wurden 45 Teile der obenerwähnten Flüssigkeit mit endständigem
Dimethylvinyl hinzugefügt Diese Mischung erhitzte man 4 Stunden auf 1500C, und man erhielt einen
schwarzen gefüllten Silicongummi, der eine Zugfestigkeit von 58,5 kp/cm2, eine Dehnbarkeit von 130% und
eine Härte (Shore A) von 58 aufwies.
Ein Platinchlorid/Organopolysiloxan-Katalysator
wurde dadurch hergestellt, daß man 3,6 Teile eines Platinchlorid-Cyclohexenkomplexes der Formel:
[PtCl2 · C6H10J2
zu 196,4 Teilen l^-Triäthyl-l^^-Trivinylcyclotrisil-
oxan hinzugab und die Reaktionsmischung 6 Stunden auf eine Temperatur von 70° C erhitzte. Während dieser
Zeit perlte aus der Reaktionsmischung Cyclohexan, das aufgefangen wurde. Dieses Cyclohexen lag in der nach
der Theorie zu erwartenden Menge vor. Das Verhältnis Chlor/Platin in der Katalysatorzusammensetzung blieb
bei 2,0. Diese Katalysatorzusammensetzung enthielt 1% Platin.
Zu 200 Teilen eines Methylvinylpolysiloxans mit einer
Viskosität von etwa 200 cSt (250C), das 1,0 Mol-%
Methylvinylsiloxaneinheiten, 1,0 Mol-% Dimethylvinylsüoxaneinheiten
und 98 Mol-% Dimethylsfloxanemheiten
enthielt, wurden 0,2 Teile dieser Katalysatorzusammensetzung
hinzugegeben, was ausreichte, um 1 Platinatom pro 4 - ΙΟ3 an Silicium gebundene Vinylgruppen
zur Verfugung zu stellen. Ein Tefl dieser
katalysierten Methylvmylpolysiloxanilüssigkeit wurde
mit ausreichenden Mengen 1,133-TetramethyldisiIoxan
vermischt, um 1,6 an Silicium gebundene Wasserstoffatome pro an Silicium gebundene Vinylgruppe zur
Verfugung zu stellen. Die Reaktionsmischung wurde 15
Minuten auf 120" C erhitzt. Während dieser Zeit wurde
der flüssige Stoff in ein hartes transparentes Gel überführt
ii
Ein Platirichlofid/Organocyclopolysiloxan-Katalysator
wurde dadurch hergestellt, daß man 5,1 Teile eines Platinchlorid/Äthylen-Komplexes der Formel
H(PtCl3 - C2H4)
zu 95 Teilen
clotetrasiloxan hinzugab und die Reaktionsmischung 4
Stunden auf 600C erhitzte. Während dieser Zeit perlte die theoretische Menge Äthylen aus der Reaktionsml·
' schüng. Während der Äthylenentwicklung blieb das
Verhältnis Chlor/Ptatin bei 3 Atomen Chlor pro Atom Platin. Dieser Katalysator enthielt 3 Gew.-% Platin.
Zu einer Mischung aus gleichen Teilen eines Methyivinylpolysiloxans und eines Methyl-H-Polysiloxans
wurde eine ausreichende Menge dieses Katalysators hinzugegeben, um 1.0 Pintinatome pro 100 an
Silicium gebundene Vinylgruppen zur Verfugung zu
stellen. Jede der Flüssigkeiten hatte anfangs eine Viskosität von etwa 2CO cSt (25°C). Das Methyl-H-Polysiloxan
war ein Copolymeres mit endständigem TrimethylsÜyl, das 2,0 MoI-% Methyl-H-Siloxaneinhei-
» ten enthielt, wobei die restlichen Diorganosiloxaneinheiten
Dimethylsiloxaneinheiten waren. Die Methylvinylpolysiloxanflüssigkeit
entsprach der Methyl-H-Polysiloxanflüssigkeit,
mit der Ausnahme, daß sie 2,0 MoI-% Methylvinylsiloxaneinheiten anstelle von 2,0 Mol-%
πι Methyl-H-Polysiloxaneinheiten enthielt. Diese Reaktionsmischung
wurde 7 Minuten auf 150° C erhitzt und die Lösung dabei in ein klares, hartes Gel überführt.

dient zum Bilden von Vergußmassen
rs zum Schutz von empfindlichen elektronischen Teiienv
von dielektrischen Substanzen zum Füllen von Hohlräumen in elektrischen Teilen, zur Beschichtung vpn
Oberflächen, die erhöhten Temperaturen ausgesetzt sind; sowie zuni Herstellen stoßdäinn£ender Qberfis-

Claims (2)
- Patentansprüche:J. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Platinchlorid/ Organocydopolysiloxan-Katalysators durch Erhitzen einer Mischung aus einem Platinchlorid/Olefin-Komplex der allgemeinen Formel[PtCI2 - Olefinjj oder H(PtCI3 - Olefin),wobei das Olefin ein Alken mit 2 bis 5 C-Atomen, ein Cycloalken mit 5 bis 7 C-Atomen oder Styrol ist, mit einer Vinylsiliciumverbindung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Vinylsiliciumverbindung ein cyclisches Alkylvinylpolysiloxan der Formel[(CH2=CH) (R)SiO]n(HI)worin R für einen niederen Alkylrest steht und π eine ganze Zahl von 3 bis einschließlich 5 ist, eingesetzt wird.
- 2. Verfahren zur Anlagerung des an Silicium gebundenen Wasserstoffes eines Organopolysiloxans der Formel(I)an die an Silicium gebundenen aliphatisch ungesättigten Gruppen eines Organopolysiloxans der Formeli (II)dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß aus den beiden Organopolysiloxanen (I) und (II) und einem Katalysator nach Anspruch 1 eine Mischung gebildet wird, wobei in den obigen Formeln R' ein organischer Rest ohne aliphatische Ungesättigtheit, R" eine Vinyl- oder AHylgruppe ist, a einen Wert von 1,0 bis einschließlich 2£; b einen Wert von 0,005 bis einschließlich 2,0 aufweist und die Summe von a + b = 1,005 bis einschließlich 3,0 beträgt, und die Mischung auf mindestens 500C erhitzt wird.Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Platinchlorid/Organocyclopolysiloxan-Katalysators durch Erhitzen einer Mischung aus einem Platinchlorid/OIefin-Komplex der allgemeinen Formel[PtCl2 · Olefin] oder H(PtCI3 ■ Olefin),wobei das Olefin ein Alken mit 2 bis 5 C-Atomen, ein Cycloalken mit 5 bis 7 C-Atomen oder Styrol ist, mit einer Vinylsiliciumverbindung.Die Erfindung betrifft weiter ein Verfahren zur Anlagerung des an Silicium gebundenen Wasserstoffes eines Organopolysiloxans der Formel(I)an die an Silicium gebundenen aliphatisch ungesättigten Gruppen eines Organopolysiloxans der Formel:(II)Es ist bekannt, daß Platin oder platinhaltige Stoffe die Addition von an Siliciumatomen gebundenen Wasserstoffatomen an die Doppelbindung von Verbindungen mit olefinischer Ungesättigtheit katalysieren. Zum Beispiel beschreibt die US-PS 29 70 150 die Verwendung von Platin/Aktivkohle-Katalysatoren für solche Hydrolysierungsreaktionen. Die US-PS 28 23 218 beschreibt die Verwendung von Chlorplatinsäure für denselben Reaklionstyp. Obwohl sowohl Platin/Aktivkohle als auch Chlorplatinsäure für viele Reaktionen brauchbar sind, leiden sie unter zahlreichen Nachteilen. So werden diese zwei Katalysatoren durch eine Anzahl gewöhnlicher Stoffe vergiftet und keiner von ihnen ist in Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen oder in Organopolysiloxanen ausreichend löslich. Darüber hinaus ist keiner dieser Katalysatoren so wirksam, wie es nötig wäre. Die Nachteile von elementarem Platin und Chiorplatinsäure werden, was Vergiftung und Reaktionsgeschwii.digkeit betrifft, durch die Verwendung von Katalysatoren aus Platinverbindungen, die durch Umsetzung von Chlorplatinsäure mit Alkohol, Aldehyden oder Äther erhalten werden (wie in der US-PS 32 20 972) oder durch Verwendung von Platin/OIefin-Katalysatoren (wie in den US-PS 31 59 601 und 31 59 662 beschrieben), überwunden. Ein noch schnellerer und wirksamerer Katalysator wird in der deutschen Patentanmeldung P 16 68 159.7 vorgeschlagen. Dieser Katalysator wird durch Umsetzung eines Platin-Halogenids oder Platinhalogen-Komplexes mit einer ungesättigten Organosilicium-Verbindung unter Reaktionsbedingungen hergestellt, bei denen auf ein Platinatom nicht mehr als ein Halogenatom im Komplex kommt und der Komplex im wesentlichen frei von anorganischem Halogen istObwohl die verschiedenen Katalysatoren der genannten US-PS und der genannten deutschen Patentanmeldung die mit elementarem Platin oder Chlorplatinsäure verbundenen Probleme der Vergiftung und der geringen Wirksamkeit lösen, hat sich gezeigt, daß diese verbesserten Katalysatoren in einigen Fallen so aktiv sind, daß die Lagerfähigkeit von Zusammensetzungen, die diese Katalysatoren enthalten, nicht groß ist und deshalb bei Verwendung dieser hochaktiven Katalysatoren nur kleine Mengen auf einmal hergestellt werden können. Obwohl diese Katalysatoren bei der Durchführung verschiedener SiH-OIefin-Additionsreaktionen sehr wirksam sind, bestand in der Technik das Bedürfnis nach einem Katalysator, dessen Aktivität zwischen der hohen Aktivität bestimmter Katalysatoren und der verhältnismäßig geringen Aktivität der anderen Katalysatoren liegt In der GB-PS 10 60 420 wird nun ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Organosiliciumverbindungen oeschrieben und beansprucht, bei dem man einp Siliciumverbindung. die mindestens ein und nicht mehr als zwei an Silicium gebundene Wasserstoffatome enthält, mit einer ungesättigten Verbindung, die gemäß Definition in der genannten GB-PS irgendeine ungesättigte Verbindung sein kann, die mindestens eine "C = C -Gruppierung enthält, ausgenommen ein aliphatisches Amin, ein Aldehyd oder eine Verbindung mit einer -C = N-Gruppe an einem ungesättigten C-Atom, in Gegenwart eines Komplexes aus einem Platinhalogenid und einer Vinylsiliciumverbindung mit mindestens einer an Silicium gebundenen Vmylgruppe umsetzt. Der Komplex aus Platinhalogenid und Vinylsiliciumverbindung kann nach der genannten GB-PS entweder durch direktes Umsetzen der beiden genannten Verbindungen oder durch Umsetzen eines Komplexes des Plalinhalogenids mit einer anderen
