Abstract

技术领域
本发明一般涉及供暖和空气调节,并且更为具体的涉及到在工作室中提供局部性的热舒适的环境。此外,本发明可以应用于住家和公寓生活区中的很多环境。本发明配备和使用在类似于工作室的环境中,主要用来产生个人局部性的舒适环境。
背景技术
一般来讲,在气候被控制的工作和居住中,气候控制是由基于大型压缩机的系统提供的,系统是包括许许多多单个工作区的一个大的区域。这种情形由于调节未被占据的空间而导致调节成本很高,也迫使被单个控制的区域接受气候输出,而无论该气候是否满足个人的偏好或舒适感。进一步讲,这样的对大的区域的控制是非均匀的,以致于出现某些地方是热的而别的地方太冷。
由于占用面积,费用和噪音输出等方面的因素,基于压缩机的系统对于个人气候控制是不实用的。一些人提出使用热电装置来实现个人气候控制的需求。比如说,美国专利5,193,347发明了一个带有热电制冷器的面罩,它可以对使用者的面部提供冷风。这样的系统不适用于大多数的工作和居住环境。另外的一个例子是美国专利4,905,475所描述的系统。在该专利的描述中,该专利发明提供了一个对个人的头部和颈部直接产生空气流的系统,它对产生的空气温度的控制还是初步的。很多的工作人员尤其是那些常常坐着的工作者需要一种更为个人化的人工气候控制,其使用的装置就象本系统一样不与使用者紧密连接。
发明内容
通过采用合理的技术,本发明所提供的个人局部区域气候控制实现一个小的功率输入来获得对个人环境一个明显的影响。分区气候控制温度可以调节来降低整个空间气候控制所需的功率输入,个人局部性气候控制装置可以很好的调节每个个人的环境。总的说,这样的系统可以节约能源。例如使用如本发明中所描述热电装置,当被适当使用时,它具有体积小,安静,效率高这些优点。
个人气候控制还能够提高生产率,这不但是因为个人能够选择对他们来说是最舒适的温度,还因为装置能够提供选择。
所以,本发明一方面功能为个人提供了舒适的局部性环境,这是通过安装在装置中的一个器件来实现一定范围的可控制性实现的,该装置不会打扰个人或者是阻碍个人正常的工作也不会干扰其它环境。优选地,对温度的局部性的控制可以限制在一个或者是几个邻近的个体间。这一点是有别于移动降温系统的,比如说为个人制冷和加热的座椅,它是采用直接冷却或者是加热椅子上坐的人并以此来抵消周围的环境温度。优选地,局域的工作空间环境是可控的。本发明的进一步的目标是用额外的特征来增大个人环境装置的功能,该额外的特征有益于个人且增效了其基本设计。这样的特征包括局部的空气过滤,小面积照明,饮料加热/冷却,小型个人冰箱,安静的听觉的环境。
本发明所描述的系统一般是应用于非移动装置的,但是系统可以应用于一个移动的环境或者工作场所或工作区域内。
本发明的一个方面涉及一个个人环境装置,该装置可以提供一个局部性区域如工作区的加热和/或冷却。该装置一般包括至少一个电动马达,以驱动至少一个风扇,至少一个风扇上有至少一个通向低压区的空气通道的入口,至少一个热电装置,至少一个主边(main side)热交换器,其与热电装置进行热交换,其中进入空气通过热交换器并改变温度,至少一个空气出口,其通过已通过热交换器的空气以提供局部区域的温度控制。
在本发明的一个方案实现中,至少一个绝热的嵌片封入在外壳内形成了至少一个空气通道。例如,至少一个绝热嵌片形成了至少一个空气通路入口。
在本发明的一个实施例中,提供了一个空气过滤器,优选地,该空气过滤器能够拆除以便替换。至少为空气出口提供了一个空气流定向装置。在本发明的一个实施例中,至少提供了一个AC到DC电源为热电装置供电。
在本发明的一个实施例中,提供了一个用户可操作控制装置。优选地,该用户可操作的控制调节空气流的速率,和/或加热量或冷却量,和/或选择冷却,加热,不加热或冷却的电扇运行,电扇关闭。
本装置能够安装在一个表面上,悬挂在一个表面或者是附着在一个表面上。在本发明的一个实施例中,该装置经配置以固定在一个计算机显示器上。在这样的实施例中,提供了一个反耀眼屏(anti-glarescreen)。
在本发明的一个实施例中,包括了一个光源,例如一个工作表面光源。在另外的一个实施例中,提供了一个声音发生器。声音发生器能够产生白色噪音(white noise)或者是其它的心烦消除声音,它也可以提供动态的噪音消除。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该装置包括了一个热电饮料制冷器和加热器。一个桌面应用的基座和供应装置也可以上本装置的一部分。
在本发明的另外的一个实施例中,本装置中可以内置一个热电冰箱。
为提高效率,优选地,热电装置在空气流动方向上的多处采用热绝缘。

具体实施例
在以下说明的内容中,术语热电模块或者是TE模块使用的是其普通和习惯意义的广泛意义,也就是(1)传统的热电模块,比如说加利福尼亚圣地亚哥Hi Z技术公司生产的热电模块,(2)量子隧穿转换器(quantum tunneling converts),(3)热离子模块,(4)磁发电动马达制热模块(magneto caloric modules),(5)热电,磁发电动马达制热,量子,隧穿和热离子效应,(6)上述模块(1)至(6)的其它结构的任何合并,阵列,组装。
在本说明中,词汇冷,热,较冷,较热等等都是一些相对意义上的词,而不是指定特定的一个温度或者是温度范围。例如,此外本发明所描述的实施例都仅仅是例子,这些例子并不是对本发明的限制,本方面如权利要求书中所限定。
图1是个人环境装置101的示意图。一个热电模块102与一个主边热交换器103和废气边(waste side)热交换器104之间有着良好的热交换。好的热交换是通过以下方式获得的,例如,使用热油膏或者是导热环氧树脂。如图所示,尽管也可以使用其它类型的热交换器,热交换器103和104采用的都是直翅(straight finned)热交换器。电源105为热电模块102提供直流电,这可以通过用户控制106来设定(开/关,冷/热,高/低)。电源105优选可以通过转换电源来使效率最大化,费用和重量最小化。电源105可以是内置于装置之中,也可以是外置的,通过电缆连接电源105和用户控制106。输入到电源的是交流电107,它也是通过适当的电线和插座(没有展示)接入的。交流电源107通过用户控制106(开/关和电扇转速)为电动马达驱动的电扇108供电。也可以采用其它的电源。如图所示,电动马达驱动的电扇是由一个单个马达和一个单风扇叶片组成的。根据所需的空气流量和需要产生的压力差,可以在轴上安装多个风扇叶或者是使用多台电动马达。可供选择的是,使用两个完全分开的电动马达和风扇叶片。尽管也可以使用直流风扇,但是两速或者是三速的交流电动机更可以使得所需直流电源105的容量最小化。也可以使用一个直流电扇。
电扇108推动清新的空气109通过固定在清新空气入口部分111的过滤器110(优选可换),并通过通道112到达风扇108的低压边113。空气离开风扇108的高压边114,并通过空气通道115的主边和废气边,主边和废气边分别与热交换器的主边103和废气边104相连接。具有优势地,最大化装置的性能和用户的舒适度,通过主边的空气流大约有5到10CFM,在废气边的空气流会更多一些,优选为主边的1.5到3倍。空气流从废气边热交换器104通过废气边输出通道117,在废气边输出端口119处离开装置,优选地,从清新空气端口111和主边输出端口119离开。废气排往外面,到达另外的一个房间或者是向上的管道(crawl)或者是一个阁楼(attic)等等。来自主边热交换器103的空气流通过主边输出通道120,并通过气流定向装置121,例如一个具有天窗或一个具有固定叶片的装置,该叶片例如在一个方向可调整的在承窝(socket)里的球内。
当空气流经主边热交换器103的时候,空气的温度与刚进入的空气的温度相比发生了变化,在该方向上变化的量由用户控制106来选择。当空气通过废气边热交换器104的时候,空气流的温度以相反的方向改变。所以,如果用户选择了制冷的模式,离开主边的空气流更冷,如果用户选择了加热的模式,那么空气流更热,温度的高低由用户选择高或低来决定。如图所示,温度变化量的调整的选择只有两个不连续的水平。也可以使用任何数量的不连续的水平,或者是连续地选择。这些控制也可以和开/关转换成物理信号控制相结合。
优选地,通道112,115,116,117和120都是由绝热材料组成的。如图1所示,他们都是分开的部分。它们具有优势地由一个或者是多个绝热性的插片形成以提供沿着安装风扇的空腔形成通道,带有热交换器的TE模块,空气定向装置可安置于其中。
如图2所示个人环境装置可以通过调整热电模块和热交换器部分的改进来提高其性能。如2001年4月27日申请的,目前悬而未决的美国专利申请09/844,818所述,改进是为了在气流方向上提供热绝缘来实现的。这个专利并入此处作为参考。
热电模块201在其主边203与多个热交换器202的有良好的热接触,在其废气边205与多个热交换器204的有良好的热接触。如图2所示,热交换器是翅片的结构。也可以使用其它类型的热交换器。采用热油脂或者是导热胶可以获得与热电模块良好的热接触。如果使用热油脂,有必要提供一个夹持力以保持热交换器202和204使其紧紧的靠在TE模块201上。在主边203的热交换器202是被空隙206彼此分开的,如废气边205的热交换器204也一样。TE模块201的主边203和废气边205一般是由陶瓷材料制成的。由于TE模块201的主边203和废气边205的热导率很低,以及空隙206的出现,从而实现从一个热交换器到另外一个热交换器之间可接受的热绝缘量。图中的箭头显示了气流的方向。优选地,当主边和废气边在相对的方向上,气流是反向流动的。但是,这并不是必须的,气流来自同一个方向也是可能的。
个人环境装置101可以经配置以各种方式安装于工作空间。例如,它可以简单的放置于工作表面,这种情况下,空气入口最好在底部,底表面从工作表面上升起以便于空气能够进入。如另外的一个例子,装置可以悬挂在一个工作表面上,如通过一个狭缝悬挂在一个书架上,位于其下,但是要接近该装置的上表面,该装置勾在书架上。在这样的配置中,空气的入口位于该装置的底部。在另外的一个例子中,可提供固定孔或者是固定架作为永久性的附件安装在工作区的一个便利的表面上。
另外的一个例子是配置该装置的外壳和内部组织以便安装计算机显示器上并处于其周围。图3显示了这个装置。个人环境装置302固定在计算机显示器301的顶部,并且如图所示,主出口303对着监测器的一侧。位于装置302的正面上的用户控制304很方便的放置在显示器301的上面。在一个例子中,空气305在装置302的顶端进入到装置。在本实施例中,调节后的空气306从主出口303放出,废气从后面(没有显示)放出。在另外一个实施例中,废气直接流向另外的一个区域。在一个实施例中,本装置提供了一个反耀眼屏盖在计算机的显示屏上。
其它的特性可以加在热电个人环境装置上。在一个实施例中,本装置的一个例子,该装置悬挂于或者是附着在工作空间的家具上,提供了一个光源以照明在该装置下方的工作表面上。优选地,光是荧光以最小化产生的热量并提供漫射光。图4显示了增加了一个饮料加热器和制冷器。外壳301经过了修改包括,如平台402,其上有一个大的圆形接收槽403,其尺寸适于放置一般的茶杯,带把杯,或罐。在接收槽403的里面是一个热电模块404。在外壳401里面,附着在热电模块404的下面的是一个热交换器(没有显示),这使得废气通道(经过适当的改动)包括热交换器。用于选择加热或冷却及选择的加热或冷却的量的用户可操作控制装置405可以固定在外壳401上或者是突出于外壳401。该装置的饮料加热器/制冷器部分可由气候控制的电源供电,也可以分别使用不同的电源。
使用发声装置对于产生一个令人平静、愉悦的环境来说是很有益处的,这是公知的。上面所述的个人环境装置的风扇通过适当的设计产生轻微的噪音,该噪音的幅度和特性可被调整。此外,该装置上可以安装扬声器通过外部的信号源,比如说通过计算机的CDROM驱动器和声卡来产生声音。扬声器可以通过电源105来供电或者是由一个的外电源来供电。扬声器或者是一个独立的音响系统可以被采用来消除来自于环境中或者是装置本身发出的噪声。这些配置可以放在如上所述的框架中,或者是如图3所示安装在计算机显示器上,其被改变以将侧边延长到容放扬声器的足够长度。
在利用该装置中的热电制冷装置时,可添加一个小冰箱。在个人加热或制冷中,在主边或废气边总是产生冷空气。该冷空气的一部分可以被送到适于存放少量食品或饮料的绝热盒,需要通过增加热电元件的数量和直流电源的容量来满足额外的制冷所需的功率。在这个配置中,用户控制经配置以允许用户按需要控制个人加热盒制冷,而同时让冰箱运行。导入冷气到达冰箱而不考虑加热/制冷的状态的控制。例如可以用一个电操作阀门或者是叶片(vane)操作以响应热/冷开关设定,以从适当的通道获得冷气。当用户关闭个人加热或冷却时,热电模块处于旁电路(standby circuit)的控制,通过旁电路,适当的空气循环量和TE模块的供电量都在温度测量的基础上确定和调节,如基于冰箱隔室内的电热调节器。
装置可以增加工作区或者是工作空间的组织特性。比如,外壳的附属品,该外壳具有隔间用于写字,备忘录垫,和其它通常在工作空间所发现的。
图5显示了另外一个热电个人环境装置的具体实施例的横截面,该热电个人环境装置被设计用于工作或者是其它的表面501。一个外壳502围住一个任选的过滤器503上(优选为可替换的),带有风扇马达505的风扇504,几个插片506,一起形成了主边通道507和废气边通道508,具有优势地,该插片是绝热的。一个热电模块509位于主边通道507和废气边通道508之间,它与主边热交换器510有着良好的热接触,该主边热交换器位于主边通道507之中,废气边热交换器511位于废气边通道508之中。优选地,如图所示,一个气流定向器位于主边通道507的左手侧的端部。供应热电装置509和电扇电动马达505的电经过电线和插座513来自交流电源。用户可操作控制装置514允许用户选择开/关,冷/热,和高/低。
空气通过外壳502底部上的一个或多个入口515进入到外壳。空气通过过滤器503,被电扇504吸入。空气离开风扇进入到主边通道507和废气边通道508,以便通过如图所示位于相对位置上的主边热交换器510和废气边热交换器511。通过重新安排通道507和通道508,气流可以在同一方向流动。具有优势地,由热电模块509,主边热交换器510,和废气边热交换器511构成的装配在气流的方向上时绝热的,如图2所示。
一个小的马达冷却通道516在其进入废气边热交换器511之前,于废气边通道558离开并供应空气以冷却马达505。在经过电动马达505之后,通过另一个小马达空气离开通道517离开马达空隙,该空气离开通道517在废气边热交换器511后面和废气通道508汇合。所有通过废气边通道508的空气通过出口518排出装置,该出口518具有优势地被定位以导引空气从装置的侧面排出,气流导引器512位于该装置侧面。如图5所示,方向垂直于横截面。
主边通道507内的空气通过主边热交换器510,在这里根据用户可操作控制装置514的设定空气被加热或者是冷却。空气通过气流定向器离开主边热交换器510,用户可以根据自己的需要来调整气流的方向。
优选地,电扇马达505有两个速度,交流电扇和为热电模块509供电的直流电都是从交流电按照本领域中的方法实现的,比如说,全波(用户可操作控制装置514设定为高)或者是半波(用户可操作控制装置514设定为低)整流,整流中不需要滤波。
在本发明的所有的配置方案中可以使用几个过滤系统来提高本装置调节的空气的质量。静电过滤方法是本领域中公知的一种方法,它并入到调节后的气流通路中,或在入口处以便调节的空气和废气被过滤。可以选择的是,静电过滤器可以基于相同的目的被使用。有机物的蒸汽和其它的污染物可以通过吸附性过滤介质,比如说活性碳,或者是具有互补吸收特性几种介质的组合而去除。可以选择的是,湿度,空气清新芳香剂,清洁剂,消毒剂和/或其它的空气改性剂都可以加入到气流中来提高系统的功能。过滤器也可以包括离子功能。
被调节的空气可以以几种方式在任何一个设备中被控制。空气可以被导引以便于周期性的扫过一定的角度,比如说,自动前后转动喷嘴。出口具有聚焦被调节的空气集中在一个小的角度内,或者通过在喷嘴上安置一个扩散机构来实现将空气发散到一个大的角度,例如,飞机中的乘客通风系统那样。构造可以被设计成允许空气的输出方向能够被手动调节。
在一些情况下,希望改装置在一段特定的时间内运行,或者是在一定的时间之后自动关闭。为了提供这个功能,一个包括一个时钟的定时器控制机构被并入到改装置控制系统106之中。用户可以设定装置的开始和停止时间,或者是可以选择地,用户设定装置运行的时间的长短,装置在运行设定的时间之后自动关闭。
作为一个附加的特性,装置中可以安装时钟和报警。改装置的一个附加的配置是把装置和一个独立的台灯合为一体,这就合并了两套装置的功能。可以这种方式并入该装置的不同配置。

Claims (26)
1. 一种个人环境装置,其提供对局部区域的加热和/或冷却,该装置包括:
驱动至少一个风扇的至少一个电动马达;
通向所述至少一个风扇的低压边的至少一个入口空气通道;
至少一个热电装置;
与所述至少一个热电装置的一侧进行热交换的多个热交换器,其中入口的空气沿流动方向经过所述多个热交换器并且温度发生变化,所述多个热交换器在所述流动方向彼此基本热隔离;和
经过了所述多个热交换器的空气的至少一个出口,以提供对所述局部区域的温度控制。
