Abstract

Se revelan composiciones y métodos mediante los cuales se aplican sustancias químicas exogenas a plantas para generar una respuesta bologicadeseada. La presente invencion consiste en una composicion para el tratamiento de plantas que comprende (a) una sustancia química exogena soluble en agua y(b) una cantidad coadyuvante de un material inorgánico solido particulado coloidal (c) entre 0 y una cantidad de S de un tensioactivo, siendo S igual aun décimo de la cantidad de sustanciaexogena presente en la composicion y (d) entre 0 y 90% ponderal de agua. Una variante es una composicion acuosaconcentrada para el tratamiento de plantas que comprende(a) una sustancia química exogena soluble en agua, (b)un diluyente acuoso,(c)un componentetensioactivo que comprende uno o más tensioactivos no ionicos, y (d) una cantidad de un material inorgánico solido particulado coloidal eficaz paraestabilizar la composicion, no exhibiendo dicha composicion separacion de fasesa lo largo de un período de tiempo T como se define más adelante cuando esalmacenado en un recipiente cerrado a una temperatura dentro del rango entre aproximadamente 15°C y aproximadamente 30°C, donde la sustancia quimica exogenay el tensioactivoestán presentes a concentraciones absolutas o relativas entre sí tales que, en ausencia de material coloidal, la separacion de fasesocurriría dentro de dicho periodo de tiempo T.
