- Patent Document 6 discloses a recording material that does not require heat treatment after imagewise exposure, which is composed of a cyanine dye having a specific structure, an iodonium salt, and an addition-polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond.
- this image recording material has problems in that the polymerization is inhibited by oxygen in the air during the polymerization reaction, the sensitivity is lowered, and the strength of the formed image portion is insufficient.
- a method using a borate compound having a high donor property and itself having a photopolymerization initiating ability as an initiator is also conceivable.
- the light extinction ratio is low when handled under white light.
- an undesired curing reaction proceeds and there is a concern that the image formability is deteriorated, for example, the non-image area is likely to be stained.

アミド残基の具体例としては、-CH2CH=CH2、-CH2CH2-Y(式中、Yはシクロヘキセン残基を表す。)
