Claims (23)

  1. 一種製造表面官能化之奈米顆粒之方法,該奈米顆粒包含含有選自週期表之第12及16族、週期表之第13及15族或週期表之第11、13及16族的元素之半導體材料,該方法包含在溶劑中及在式3之奈米顆粒表面結合配體存在下使第一與第二奈米顆粒前體物質反應,X-Y-Z 式3其中該第一奈米顆粒前體物質係包含選自週期表之第11、12及13族的離子之化合物,且該第二奈米顆粒前體物質係選自週期表之第15及16族的離子之化合物,其中X係包含硫醇基或羧酸基官能基之奈米顆粒表面結合基團,Y係連接基團,且Z係官能基團,其中Y包含聚乙二醇基團,且/或Z包含納入末端不飽和基團之脂肪族基團,因而該表面結合配體在原處結合至該成長的奈米顆粒之表面。
  2. 如請求項1之方法,其中使該奈米顆粒表面結合配體接觸該第一奈米顆粒前體物質以達成該表面結合配體與該第一前體物質之結合,之後使該第一前體物質與該第二奈米顆粒前體物質反應。
  3. 如請求項1之方法,其中該表面結合配體之該奈米顆粒結合基團與該表面結合配體之該官能團不同。
  4. 如請求項1之方法,其中在該反應期間以一或多份添加該第一奈米顆粒前體物質且以一或多份添加該第二前體物質。
  5. 如請求項4之方法,其中以兩份或更多份添加該第一奈米顆粒前體物質且在添加每份該第一前體物質之間提高含有該第一及第二奈米顆粒前體物質及該奈米顆粒表面結合配體之反應混合物之溫度。
  6. 如請求項4或5之方法,其中以兩份或更多份添加該第二奈米顆粒前體物質且在添加每份該第二前體物質之間提高含有該第一及第二奈米顆粒前體物質及該奈米顆粒表面結合配體之反應混合物之溫度。
  7. 如請求項1之方法,其中該第一奈米顆粒前體物質係核奈米顆粒且該第二奈米顆粒前體物質含有第一離子以形成擬沈積於該核奈米顆粒表面上之殼之一部分。
  8. 如請求項1之方法,其中該第二奈米顆粒前體物質係核奈米顆粒且該第一奈米顆粒前體物質含有第一離子以形成擬沈積於該核奈米顆粒表面上之殼之一部分。
  9. 如請求項1之方法,其中該表面結合配體之該官能團係帶電荷或極性基團、或可交聯或可聚合基團。
  10. 如請求項1之方法,其中該奈米顆粒表面結合配體係聚合物化合物。
  11. 如請求項10之方法,其中該聚合物化合物係聚醚。
  12. 如請求項10或11之方法,其中該聚合物化合物包含烷醇基及羧酸基。
  13. 如請求項1之方法,其中該末端不飽和基團係乙烯基。
  14. 如請求項1之方法,其中X包含至少一個羧酸基或至少一個硫醇基。
  15. 如請求項1之方法,其中Y包含直鏈或具支鏈脂肪族基團、或芳香族基團。
  16. 如請求項1之方法,其中該奈米顆粒表面結合配體係聚(氧乙二醇)n 單甲基醚乙酸,其中n=1至5000。
  17. 如請求項1之方法,其中該奈米顆粒表面結合配體係選自由10-十一烯酸及11-巰基-十一烯組成之群。
  18. 如請求項1之方法,其中該奈米顆粒表面結合配體具有下式
  19. 如請求項1之方法,其中該反應係在不同於該奈米顆粒表面結合配體之溶劑中實施。
  20. 如請求項19之方法,其中該溶劑係路易士(Lewis)鹼化合物。
  21. 如請求項20之方法,其中該路易士鹼化合物係選自由HDA、TOP、TOPO、DBS、辛醇及諸如此類組成之群。
  22. 如請求項1之方法,其中該等奈米顆粒係核、核-殼或核-多核奈米顆粒。
  23. 如請求項1之方法,其中該等奈米顆粒包含一或多種選自由下述組成之群的半導體材料:CdS、CdSe、CdTe、ZnS、ZnSe、ZnTe、InP、InAs、InSb、AlP、AlS、 AlAs、AlSb、GaN、GaP、GaAs、GaSb、PbS、PbSe、Si、Ge、MgS、MgSe、MgTe及其組合。
