Abstract

本發明之潤滑系統包含一被動機械指示器,其在一潤滑劑儲槽接近於排空時提供剩餘潤滑劑液位之一持續視覺指示器。

再填充源28係用於按需求再填充潤滑劑儲槽14之一潤滑劑材料源。舉例而言,再填充源28可為一大靜止圓筒、貯槽或容器。當潤滑劑儲槽14耗乏時,其可藉由將再填充管線30附接至截流閥總成32而再 填充,截流閥總成32經由入口管線34不固定地連接至輸入/輸出歧管22。舉例而言,再填充管線30可為相關聯於再填充源28之一可卸離軟管。截流閥總成32係安置於再填充源28與入口/輸出歧管22之間之一閥總成。截流閥總成32經偏置以敞開,但在潤滑劑儲槽14填滿時關閉,以防過度填充。當截流閥總成32敞開時,來自再填充源28之流體可藉由再填充泵36泵抽通過再填充管線30、截流閥總成32及入口管線34以進入至潤滑劑儲槽14中。舉例而言,再填充泵36可為一齒輪泵、一往復圓柱體泵或任何其他適當加壓裝置。在一些實施例中,截流閥總成32可不存在,且再填充管線30可直接饋送至入口/輸出歧管22中。一旦潤滑劑儲槽14被填滿,則再填充管線30可從截流閥總成32(或入口/輸出歧管22)脫離連接。過量潤滑劑可經由傾卸管線38從再填充管線30排出。舉例而言,傾卸管線38可為經由一手動致動閥附接至再填充管線之一出口管線或套管。在一些實施例中,潤滑劑廢渣桶可為一廢棄流體廢渣桶。在其他實施例中,潤滑劑廢渣桶40可為使過量潤滑劑選路返回至再填充源28之一再循環廢渣桶。
潤滑控制器42係一具邏輯能力裝置,諸如一專用微處理器或微處理器之集合或載入有適當控制軟體之一非專用電腦。潤滑控制器42接收反映本端總成12之狀態之輸入信號Ci,且經由輸出信號Co控制本端總成12之馬達16及致動器。潤滑控制器42可為本端總成12之一部分或可為經由諸如一無線連接之一遠端資料連接與本端總成12通信之一遠端控制器。潤滑控制器42可包含諸如一螢幕、小鍵盤及/或通信收發器之使用者介面組件以提供資料至本端或遠端使用者,且接受使用者輸入命令。在一些實施例中,潤滑控制器42可輸出指示本端總成12之操作中之改變之警報或警示訊息(例如,經由數位信號、燈光及/或聲音)。
本端總成12將潤滑劑供應至遠離再填充源28之可為可攜式或否 則行動之機械組件。可按需求再填充潤滑劑儲槽14,從而允許本端總成12獨立於潤滑劑源而操作以用於延長週期(例如,當在遠離再填充源28之一位置使用相關聯之機械組件時)。
圖2係本端總成12之一部分之一透視圖,圖解說明潤滑劑儲槽14、馬達16、泵18、流體管20及入口/輸出歧管22。圖2進一步描繪蓋板44、儲槽唇50、主要入口56、主要出口58、排放閥螺線管60及低液位指示器66。
在所描繪實施例中,蓋板44對充當馬達16、泵18及低液位指示器66之一基底的潤滑劑儲槽14係一實質上平坦的蓋。在一組裝狀態中,蓋板44螺合至儲槽唇50。儲槽唇50係經安置以接收緊固件且與蓋板44形成一流體密封件之潤滑劑儲槽之一環形凸緣。如關於圖1所描述,入口/輸出歧管22係具有進入至/離開流體管20之流體通道之一流體歧管。主要入口56及主要出口58分別係入口/輸出歧管22之輸入通口及輸出通口。主要出口58連接至潤滑劑工作管線24。在一些實施例中,入口/輸出歧管22可具有為多個潤滑劑工作管線服務之多個主要出口。主要入口56經由再填充管線30從再填充源28接收再填充潤滑劑。
在所描繪實施例中,入口/輸出歧管22配備有排放閥螺線管60,其係驅動整合至入口/輸出歧管22之一排放閥之一致動器螺線管。排放閥螺線管60根據包含於來自潤滑控制器42之輸出信號Co中之命令信號致動入口/輸出歧管22中之閥調。以此方式,入口/輸出歧管22能夠在泵抽與排放模式之間切換。在泵抽模式中,泵18可驅動來自潤滑劑儲槽14之流體通過主要出口58至潤滑劑工作管線24,及/或潤滑劑儲槽14可通過主要入口56接收來自再填充源28之泵抽再填充潤滑劑。在排放模式中,允許潤滑劑工作管線24中之加壓流體通過入口歧管22之入口通道循環回至潤滑劑儲槽14中作為一洩壓機制。
低液位指示器66係坐落於蓋板44頂部上之一視覺指示器。低液位指示器66係一機械致動之指示器,其在潤滑劑儲槽14幾乎排空時提供潤滑劑液位之一持續指示。
圖3係潤滑系統10之本端總成12之一部分之一剖視圖。圖3圖解說明如在上文關於圖2描述之潤滑劑儲槽14、馬達16、入口/輸出歧管22、蓋板44、儲槽唇50、主要入口56及低液位指示器66。圖3進一步圖解說明指示器主體100、透明窗102、罩蓋104、指示器桿106、套筒桿108、蓋套筒110、連接器附件112、可撓性連接器114、從動板116(具有從動板密封件118、從動板頂部120及從動板底部122)及偏置元件124。
指示器主體100係錨定至蓋板44之一剛性結構主體。透明窗102係安置於指示器主體頂部上之一另一剛性結構元件。在所描繪實施例中,指示器主體100及透明窗102係實質上圓柱形的,不過替代實施例可具有不同形狀。透明窗102支撐罩蓋104,罩蓋104錨定指示器桿106。透明窗102提供允許操作員看見指示器桿106之一觀察窗。指示器桿106包含一彩色部分(參見在下文描述之圖4、圖5a、圖5b及圖5c),其充當指示潤滑劑儲槽14是否幾乎排空之一視覺指示器。套筒桿108係安置於指示器主體100內且支撐蓋套筒110之一可移動桿。在一些實施例中,套筒桿108及蓋套筒桿110可形成為一單一組件。蓋套筒110係當處於一最頂部位置時隱藏指示器桿106之一環形套筒或鞘。從動板116係跟隨潤滑劑儲槽14內之潤滑劑之上表面之一密封板或圓盤。可撓性連接器114係一連接元件,諸如錨定至從動板116且經由連接器附件112固定至套筒桿108之一鏈或繩。
從動板116在潤滑劑儲槽14內之潤滑劑頂面上浮動。只要潤滑劑儲槽14實質上填滿,則可撓性連接器114保持鬆弛。隨著潤滑劑材料之消耗且潤滑劑儲槽14內之潤滑劑液位下降至接近於排空,從動板 116降低至潤滑劑儲槽14之底部附近,且拉緊可撓性連接器114。當潤滑劑進一步耗乏時,從動板116之下降相反於由偏置元件124施加之一彈力向下拉動套筒桿108。舉例而言,偏置元件124可為繞套筒桿108盤繞之一彈簧。當套筒桿108被向下拉動時,蓋套筒110回縮以曝露指示器桿106,從而允許透過透明窗102看見指示器桿106之一部分。以此方式,當潤滑劑儲槽14接近於排空時,指示器桿106之可視部分提供潤滑劑儲槽14中之剩餘潤滑劑之一持續指示。隨著潤滑劑儲槽14接近排空,透過透明窗102可見指示器桿106的更多部分。
圖4係低液位指示器66之一橫截面視圖,圖解說明如在上文關於圖3描述之指示器主體100、透明窗102、罩蓋104、指示器桿106、套筒桿108、蓋套筒110、連接器附件112、可撓性連接器114及偏置元件124。圖4進一步圖解說明指示器桿106之彩色部分126、傳輸器128及開關130。
如上文所描述,當潤滑劑儲槽14接近排空時,可撓性連接器114變得繃緊且拉動套筒桿及蓋套筒110遠離指示器桿106。此曝露指示器桿106之彩色部分126,從而使得透過透明窗102可見彩色部分126。彩色部分126可構成指示器桿106之整個長度,或可僅為指示器桿106之一部分。當透過透明窗102可見彩色部分126時,潤滑劑儲槽14幾乎排空。彩色部分126之曝露程度反映潤滑劑儲槽14有多接近於排空。因此,低液位指示器66提供指示何時(及如何緊急)潤滑劑儲槽14需要再填充之一被動機械指示器。
開關130藉由使套筒桿108垂直行進至完全曝露指示器桿106之一最底部位置而致動開關。在一項實施例中,開關130可為在套筒桿108達到指示器主體100內之一最底部位置(指示潤滑劑儲槽14已排空或幾乎排空)時致動之一舌簧開關。在替代實施例中,開關130可為藉由套筒桿108中之位置改變而致動之任何種類的開關或感測器。傳輸器128 係一有線或無線傳輸器,其傳輸反映開關130之狀態之一資料信號。舉例而言,傳輸器128可為當致動開關130時傳輸一排空信號至控制器42之一有線或無線傳輸器。在替代實施例中,傳輸器128可傳輸排空信號至其他裝置,諸如手持周邊使用者介面或其他控制裝置。

Claims (15)
