1. Способ формования уплотнительного кольца, включающий:формование термопластического стержня из по меньшей мере продольного слоя первого полимера и продольного слоя второго полимера, при этом экструдированный стержень имеет первый и второй концы;нагревание термопластического стержня до первой температуры выше температуры стеклования первого и второго полимеров;гибка термопластического стержня в округлую структуру при поддержании температуры по крайней мере при первой температуре;нагревание первого и второго концов экструдированного стержня до температуры выше температуры плавления первого и второго полимеров; исведение вместе нагретых первого и второго конца экструдированного стержня с получением сварного шва, соединяющего концы вместе, при этом сваренный второй полимер имеет по меньшей мере первое механическое свойство, которое является более желательным, чем первое механическое свойство сваренного первого полимера, так, что первое механическое свойство сварного шва, соединяющего концы экструдированного стержня вместе также является более желательным, чем первое механическое свойство сваренного первого полимера.2. Claims (15)

1. Способ формования уплотнительного кольца, включающий:
формование термопластического стержня из по меньшей мере продольного слоя первого полимера и продольного слоя второго полимера, при этом экструдированный стержень имеет первый и второй концы;
нагревание термопластического стержня до первой температуры выше температуры стеклования первого и второго полимеров;
гибка термопластического стержня в округлую структуру при поддержании температуры по крайней мере при первой температуре;
нагревание первого и второго концов экструдированного стержня до температуры выше температуры плавления первого и второго полимеров; и
сведение вместе нагретых первого и второго конца экструдированного стержня с получением сварного шва, соединяющего концы вместе, при этом сваренный второй полимер имеет по меньшей мере первое механическое свойство, которое является более желательным, чем первое механическое свойство сваренного первого полимера, так, что первое механическое свойство сварного шва, соединяющего концы экструдированного стержня вместе также является более желательным, чем первое механическое свойство сваренного первого полимера.
2. Способ по п , в котором первое механическое свойство выбирают из группы, состоящей из удлинения при разрыве, предела прочности при растяжении или модуля упругости при растяжении.
3. Способ по любому из пп. 1 или 2, в котором сведение вместе нагретых первого и второго конца экструдированного стержня с получением сварного шва включает сведение вместе нагретых первого и второго концов термопластического стержня с получением сварного шва, соединяющего концы таким образом, чтобы первый и второй концы слоя первого полимера были соединены и первый и второй концы слоя второго полимера были соединены.
4. Способ по любому из пп. 1-3, в котором первый полимер включает наполненный полимер, образованный из полимерной матрицы и наполнителя.
5. Способ по любому из пп. 1-4, в котором первый полимер включает наполненный политетрафторэтиленом (ПТФЭ) полимер, образованный из полимерной матрицы и ПТФЭ наполнителя.
6. Способ по любому из пп. 1-5, в котором первый полимер содержит ненаполненный полимер.
7. Способ по любому из пп. 1-6, в котором термопластический стержень получают путем совместной экструзии первого полимера и второго полимера.
8. Способ по любому из пп. 1-7, в котором термопластический стержень получают путем компрессионного формования
9. Способ формования уплотнительного кольца, включающий:
формование термопластического стержня путем совместной экструзии наполненного политетрафторэтиленом (ПТФЭ) полимера и ненаполненного полимера таким образом, что образованный термопластичного стержень содержит по меньшей мере первый слой наполненного политетрафторэтиленом полимера и второй слой ненаполненного полимера, при этом термопластический стержень имеет первый и второй концы;
нагревание термопластического стержня до температуры выше температуры стеклования наполненного политетрафторэтиленом полимера и ненаполненного полимера;
гибка термопластического стержня в округлую структуру при поддержании температуры выше температуры стеклования;
сведение вместе нагретых первого и второго конца термопластического стержня с получением сварного шва, соединяющего концы вместе, при этом первый и второй концы слоя наполненного политетрафторэтиленом полимера соединены и первый и второй концы слоя ненаполненного полимера соединены.
10. Способ по любому из пп. 1-9, в котором сварной шов, соединяющий вместе концы термопластического стержня, имеет удлинение при разрыве по меньшей мере 3%.
11. Способ по любому из пп. 1-10, в котором сварной шов, соединяющий вместе концы термопластического стержня, имеет удлинение при разрыве по меньшей мере 5%.
12. Способ по любому из пп. 1-11, в котором сварной шов, соединяющий вместе концы термопластического стержня, имеет удлинение при разрыве большее, чем удлинение про разрыве сваренного наполненного политетрафторэтиленом полимера.
13. Способ по любому из пп 1-12, дополнительно включающий отжиг соединенных концов путем доведения температуры соединенных концов до температуры выше, чем температура стеклования для первого и второго слоев, и выдерживании соединенных концов при этой температуре в течение периода времени, составляющего по меньшей мере 2 часа, и охлаждение уплотнительного кольца.
14. Способ любому из пп 1-13, в котором гибка термопластического стержня в круглую форму включает гибку термопластического стержня в круглую форму так, чтобы один слой полимера образовал внутренний периметр круглой формы, а другой полимерный слой образовал внешний периметр круглой формы.
15. Уплотнительное кольцо, образованное способом по любому из пп. 1-14.
