Abstract
La presente invencion proporciona enzimas de glucosiltransferasa (GT) modificadas con ingenieria genetica, polipeptidos que tienen actividad de GT y polinucleotidos que codifican estas enzimas, asi como vectores y celulas hospederas que comprenden estos polinucleotidos y polipeptidos; la presente invencion proporciona enzimas de sacarosa sintasa (SuS) modificadas con ingenieria genetica, polipeptidos que tienen actividad de SuS y polinucleotidos que codifican estas enzimas, asi como vectores y celulas hospederas que comprenden estos polinucleotidos y polipeptidos; la presente invencion tambien proporciona composiciones que comprenden las enzimas de GT y metodos de uso de las enzimas de GT modificadas con ingenieria genetica para elaborar productos con enlaces ß-glucosa; la presente invencion proporciona ademas composiciones y metodos para la produccion de rebaudiosidos (por ejemplo, rebaudiosido M, rebaudiosido A, rebaudiosido I y rebaudiosido D); la presente invencion tambien proporciona composiciones que comprenden las enzimas de SuS y metodos para usarlas; tambien se proporcionan metodos para producir las enzimas de GT y de SuS.
