Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 移動使用者にその者の位置に依存した情報を提供するためのナビゲーショ ン情報システムであって、固定部と、該固定部と通信をするための1又は複数の 移動部とを有する移動通信システムで成り、該1又は複数の移動部は該固定部に 案内情報の要求を送りかつ該固定部から案内情報を受けるための手段を含み、該 固定部は、 案内情報を要求している移動部の位置を判断するための手段と、 該移動部の位置に従って案内情報を生成するための手段と、 生成された案内情報を移動部に送るための手段とを備え、 それにより該移動ユニットの位置に依存した情報を移動ユニットに送ることが できるようにするシステム。 2. 前記固定部は、複数のオーバーレイ領域で成る地理的オーバーレイとの関 係で移動部の位置を判断するための手段と、該移動部の位置を含むオーバーレイ 領域と関係する情報を送るための手段とを含み、それによってオーバーレイ領域 内部の移動部がそのオーバーレイ領域と関係する情報を受けるようにした請求項 1記載のシステム。 3. 地理的オーバーレイのディジタル表現を記憶するための手段と、記憶した 表現を修正してオーバーレイ領域の構成を変化する要求に併せて選ぶことができ るようにするための手段とを含む請求項2記載のシステム。 4. 移動部が予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入るときを判断するための手 段と、移動部が予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入るのに応答して移動部にメ ッセージを送るための手段とを含む請求項2又は3記載のシステム。 5. 移動部が予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入るときを判断するための手 段と、該予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に該移動部が入るのに応答して該移動 部以外の使用者にメッセージを送るための手段とを含む請求項2,3又は4のい ずれかに記載のシステム。 6. 前記移動部と関係する値を記憶するための手段と、前記メッセージに応答 して記憶した値を修正するように作られた手段とを含む請求項4又は5記載のシ ステム。 7. 無線位置決めによって移動部の位置を決めるための手段を有する請求項1 ないし6のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 8. 前記位置を決めるための手段が衛星ナビゲーションシステム受信機及び/ 又は通信システムの固定部の要素に関係する移動部の位置を識別するための手段 で成る請求項7記載のシステム。 9. 前記移動部の位置を判断するための手段が移動部の一部をなす位置識別手 段に照合するための手段で成る請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載のシステ ム。 10. 前記固定部は移動部のおおよその位置を判断するための手段を有し、該移 動部の位置識別手段は照合手段からの位置要求にユニークではない位置信号で応 答するようにされ、固定部によって判断されたおおよその位置と組合わせてユニ ークな位置を判断する請求項9記載のシステム。 11. 前記移動部は推定によってその地点の位置決めをするための手段を備える 請求項1ないし10のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 12. 前記固定部は、移動部に対して前に送った案内情報に基づいて移動部の未 来位置の推定、及び/又は複数の移動部の時間情報及び位置測定から得られた車 両移動データに基づいて案内データを生成し、保持するための手段を備えている 請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 13. 前記固定部は予期される移動範囲情報を移動部に送りかつ該予期される範 囲外の移動測定を移動部から受けるための手段を備え、該移動部は移動情報を得 るために位置と時間を測定するための手段と、移動情報をシステムの固定部から 受けた予期される範囲と比較するための手段と、予期される範囲外の移動測定を 固定システムに自動的に報告するための手段とを備えている請求項1ないし12の いずれか1項に記載のシステム。 14. 前記固定部は、案内データを記憶するための手段と、記憶された案内デー タを更新するための手段と、更新されたデータが適応できる移動部を識別するた めの手段と、識別された移動部に対して通信システムを介してデータを送るため の手段とを含む請求項1ないし13のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 15. 前記移動部は通信リンクを介して固定部から送られた案内情報内に含まれ る指示によって制御できる案内指示手段を含み、それによって案内指示手段を介 して使用者に案内指示を通信できる請求項1ないし14のいずれか1項に記載のシ ステム。 16. 前記固定部は固定部に対して案内指示要求を入力するために人間のオペレ ータによって操作できる入力手段を有する請求項1ないし15のいずれか1項に記 載のシステム。 17. 1又は複数の移動使用者に対してその者の位置に依存した情報を提供する ためのナビゲーション情報システムであって、 案内情報を要求している移動ユニットの位置を判断するための手段と、 該移動ユニットの位置に従って案内情報を生成するための手段と、 生成された案内情報を移動ユニットに対して送るための通信システムとから成 り、 それにより移動ユニットの位置に依存する情報を移動ユニットに送ることがで きるようにしたシステム。 18. 複数のオーバーレイ領域で成る地理的オーバーレイと関係して移動ユニッ トの位置を判断するための手段と、該移動ユニットの位置を含んだオーバーレイ 領域と関係している情報を送るための手段とを含み、それによってオーバーレイ 領域内の移動部がオーバーレイ領域と関係する情報を受ける請求項17記載のシス テム。 19. 前記地理的オーバーレイのディジタル表現を記憶するための手段と、該記 憶された表現を修正してオーバーレイ領域の構成を変化する要求に合わせて選べ るようにするための手段とを含む請求項18記載のシステム。 20. 移動ユニットが予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入ったときを判断する ための手段と、該予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入る該移動ユニットに応答 して該移動ユニットにメッセージを送るための手段とを含む請求項18又は19に記 載のシステム。 21. 移動ユニットが予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入ったときを判断する ための手段と、該移動ユニット以外の使用者に対して、該予め定められたオーバ ーレイ領域に入る該移動ユニットに応答してメッセージを送るための手段とを含 む 請求項18,19又は20に記載のシステム。 22. 前記移動ユニットと関係する値を記憶するための手段と、前記メッセージ に応答して記憶した値を修正するようにされた手段とを含む請求項20又は21記載 のシステム。 23. 移動ユニットの位置を判断するための手段が共働する移動ユニットの位置 識別手段に照合してその位置を判断するための手段で成る請求項17ないし22のい ずれか1項に記載のシステム。 24. 前記場所を位置決めするための手段が前記通信システムの固定部の要素に 関係する移動ユニットの位置を識別するための手段で成る請求項17ないし23のい ずれか1項に記載のシステム。 25. 前記場所を位置決めするための手段が、前記移動ユニットのおおよその位 置を判断するための手段と、該移動ユニットからユニークではない位置信号を受 けるための手段と、該おおよその位置情報と該ユニークではない位置情報とを組 合わせてユニークな位置を判断するための手段とから成る請求項24記載のシステ ム。 26. 複数の移動部の時間情報及び位置測定から得られた車両移動データに基づ いて案内情報を生成し、保持するための手段を含む請求項17ないし25のいずれか 1項に記載のシステム。 27. 予期される移動範囲情報を前記移動部に送り、かつ予期される範囲の外で の移動測定を受けるための手段を備える請求項17ないし26のいずれか1項に記載 のシステム。 28. 案内データを記憶するための手段と、記憶した案内データを更新するため の手段と、更新したデータが適用できる移動ユニットを識別するための手段と、 識別された移動ユニットに通信システムを介してこのデータを送るための手段と を含む請求項17ないし27のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 29. 案内指示要求を入力するために人間のオペレータによって操作できる入力 手段をもつ請求項17ないし28のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 30. 通信リンクを介して案内指示情報を受けるための手段と、該通信リンクを 介して受けた案内指示情報によって制御することができる案内指示手段とから成 り、該案内指示手段により使用者に案内指示を通信できるようにしたナビゲーシ ョン情報システム用の移動ユニット。 31. 関係する情報を受けるようにした請求項32記載の方法。 34. 前記地理的オーバーレイのディジタル表現を記憶し、記憶した表現を修正 してオーバーレイ領域の構成が変化する要求に合わせて選べるようにした請求項 33記載の方法。 35. さらに、移動ユニットが予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入るときを判 断し、該予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入る該移動ユニットに応答して該移 動ユニットにメッセージを送る段階とを有する請求項33又は34記載の方法。 36. さらに、移動ユニットが予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入るときを判 断し、該予め定められたオーバーレイ領域に入る該移動ユニットに応答して該移 動ユニット以外の使用者に対してメッセージを送る段階とを有する請求項33,34 又は35のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 37. さらに、前記メッセージに応答して前記移動ユニットと関係する記憶され た値を修正する段階を含む請求項35又は36記載の方法。 38. 前記移動ユニットの場所が無線位置決めシステムによって識別される請求 項32ないし37のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 39. 前記移動ユニットの場所が衛星ナビゲーションシステムの手段により及び /又は通信システムの固定部の要素に関して移動部の位置を識別することによっ て判断される請求項38記載の方法。 40. 固定ユニットは移動ユニットに照合してその位置を識別する請求項32ない し39のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 41. 固定部が移動ユニットのおおよその位置を判断し、移動ユニットが照合手 段からの位置要求に対してユニークでない位置信号で応答し、このユニークでな い位置信号は固定部によって判断されたおおよその位置と組合せてユニークな位 置を判断するものである請求項40記載の方法。 42. 前記移動ユニットは推定によってその場所を特定する請求項32ないし41の いずれか1項に記載の方法。 43. 複数の移動部の場所測定と時間情報から得られた車両移動データに基づく データ、及び/又は該移動部に前に送られた案内情報に基づく移動部の未来位置 の推定を生成しかつ保持する段階を含む請求項32ないし42のいずれか1項に記載 の方法。 44. 固定部が予期される移動範囲情報を移動部に送り、該移動部が移動情報を 得るために位置と時間とを測定し、該移動情報をシステムの固定部から受けた予 期された範囲と比較し、予期された範囲外の移動測定を固定システムに対して報 告する請求項32ないし43のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 45. さらに、記憶したデータを更新する段階と、該更新したデータが適応でき る移動ユニットを識別する段階と、該データを通信システムを介して該適応でき る移動ユニットに送る段階とを含む請求項32ないし44のいずれか1項に記載の方 法。 46. 前記移動ユニットに送られた案内情報が該移動ユニットの一部を形成する 案内指示手段を制御し、それによって移動ユニットの使用者に案内指示を通信で きるようにした請求項32ないし45のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 47.
