Claims (12)
- 車両の構造部材に連結されたメインパネル部材と、前記メインパネル部材に接着された騒音減衰層と、溶接継手と、を有する車両パネルアセンブリであって、
前記メインパネル部材は、騒音及び/又は振動源にさらされた音響的活動領域を有し、
前記騒音減衰層は、一以上の溶接用開口部を有し、且つ前記メインパネル部材の前記音響活動領域を少なくとも部分的に覆うよう構成され、
前記車両パネルアセンブリは、前記メインパネル部材に連結された騒音減衰パッチを有し、
前記騒音減衰層は、前記騒音減衰パッチを前記メインパネル部材に接着する騒音減衰接着剤を含み、
前記騒音減衰パッチは、前記騒音減衰層内の前記溶接用開口部と整列した溶接用開口部を有し、
前記騒音減衰層の溶接用開口部と前記騒音減衰パッチの溶接用開口部の両方のなかに前記溶接継手が形成され、
前記溶接継手は、前記騒音減衰層からの材料も前記騒音減衰パッチからの材料も含むことなく前記車両の前記構造部材及び前記メインパネル部材からの材料を含み、
前記溶接継手が、前記車両パネルアセンブリを前記車両の前記構造部材に連結する
ことを特徴とする車両パネルアセンブリ。 - 前記騒音減衰パッチは、前記メインパネル部材の前記音響的活性領域の少なくとも一部を覆うよう構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。 - 前記メインパネル部材及び前記騒音減衰パッチは剛性金属部品であり、
前記騒音減衰接着材は、粘弾性である
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。 - 前記騒音減衰層及び/又は前記騒音減衰パッチは、前記車両の前記構造部材の形状に沿うパターンに配列された複数の溶接用開口部を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。
- 前記騒音減衰層及び/又は前記騒音減衰パッチには、複数の溶接継手を収容する一つの溶接用開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。
- 前記騒音減衰層及び/又は前記騒音減衰パッチには、スポット溶接部を収容する全体的に円形状の溶接用開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。
- 前記騒音減衰層及び/又は前記騒音減衰パッチには、連続的な溶接部を収容する全体的に細長い形状の溶接用開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。
- 前記構造部材は前記車両の構造横材であり、前記車両パネルアセンブリはダッシュパネルの一部であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の車両パネルアセンブリ。
- 車両の構造部材と接触するメインパネル部材と、前記メインパネル部材と接触する騒音減衰接着剤層と、前記騒音減衰接着剤層と接触する騒音減衰パッチと、溶接継手と、を有する車両パネルアセンブリであって、
前記メインパネル部材は、騒音及び/又は振動源にさらされた音響的活動領域を有し、
前記騒音減衰接着剤層は、第一溶接用開口部を有し、
前記騒音減衰パッチは、前記第一溶接用開口部と整列した第二溶接用開口部を有し、且つ前記音響活動領域を少なくとも部分的に覆うよう構成され、
前記溶接継手は、前記騒音減衰接着剤層の前記第一溶接用開口部及び前記騒音減衰パッチの前記第二溶接用開口部のなかに形成され、
前記溶接継手が、前記車両パネルアセンブリを前記車両の前記構造部材に連結する
ことを特徴とする車両パネルアセンブリ。 - 車両の構造部材に車両パネルアセンブリを連結する方法において、
(a)メインパネル部材、接着剤層及び騒音減衰パッチを有する車両パネルアセンブリを用意するステップと、ここで前記接着剤層及び前記騒音減衰パッチには溶接用開口部が設けられており、
(b)前記接着剤層の前記溶接用開口部及び前記騒音減衰パッチの前記溶接用開口部が、前記構造部材と整列するよう、前記車両の前記構造部材上に前記車両パネルアセンブリを位置決めするステップと、
(c)前記メインパネル部材及び前記構造部材からの材料により形成され且つ前記接着剤層の前記溶接用開口部及び前記騒音減衰パッチの前記溶接用開口部内に配置された一以上の溶接継手により、前記車両パネルアセンブリを前記車両の前記構造部材に溶接するステップと、を含む
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ステップ(a)が、
(i)メインブランク材と、前記メインブランク材よりも小さく且つ前記溶接用開口部を有する騒音減衰ブランク材と、を用意するステップと、
(ii)前記接着剤層の前記溶接用開口部及び前記騒音減衰パッチの前記溶接用開口部の周囲に接着剤が存在しないよう前記騒音減衰ブランク材の裏面に前記接着剤層を適用し、前記接着剤層により前記騒音減衰ブランク材を前記メインブランク材に連結するステップと、
(iii)前記メインブランク材、前記接着剤層及び前記騒音減衰ブランク材を一体形成して前記車両パネルアセンブリを形成するステップと、を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記ステップ(c)が、
(i)フィードバックシステムにおいて、前記溶接継手を位置決めするための基準として前記溶接用開口部を使用するステップと、
(ii)前記溶接継手を用いて前記車両パネルアセンブリを前記車両の前記構造部材に溶接するステップと、を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
