Abstract
【解決手段】カソード及びこれを採用したリチウム電池に係り、具体的には、伝導性の低下を防止しつつ高容量具現が可能なカソード及びこれを採用したリチウム電池に関するものであり、該カソードは、導電剤、バインダ及びカソード活物質を含むカソード活物質組成物が集電体の一面上に形成され、カソード活物質は、固溶系酸化物と、炭素が表面コーティングされた電気化学的に不活性である物質とを含む。

式中、0<x<1であり、M及びMeはそれぞれ独立的に、Mn、Ti、Zr、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Al、Mg、Zr、B、及びMoからなる群から選択された少なくとも一つ以上の金属である。

Claims (8)
- 導電剤、バインダ及びカソード活物質を含むカソード活物質組成物が集電体の一面上に形成され、
前記カソード活物質が下記化学式1の固溶系酸化物と、炭素が表面コーティングされた電気化学的に不活性である物質とを含むことを特徴とするカソードであって、

xLi2MO3−(1−x)LiMeO2
式中、
0<x<1であり、
M及びMeはそれぞれ独立的に、Mn、Ti、Zr、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Al、Mg、Zr、B、及びMoからなる群から選択された少なくとも一つ以上の金属であるカソード。 - 前記電気化学的に不活性である物質が非遷移金属系酸化物、非遷移金属系フッ化物及び非遷移金属系リン酸物質からなる群から選択された一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 前記電気化学的に不活性である物質がAl2O3、MgO、SiO2、CeO2、ZrO2、ZnO、AlF3及びAlPO4からなる群から選択された一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 前記電気化学的に不活性である物質がAl2O3であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 前記炭素の含有量が電気化学的に不活性である物質の重量を基準として、20重量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 前記化学式1の化合物でMeが、Cr、Mn、Co及びNiからなる群から選択された少なくとも一つ以上の金属であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 前記化学式1の化合物でxが、0.1から0.6であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカソード。
- 請求項1ないし請求項7のうちいずれか1項に記載のカソードと、
アノードと、
有機電解液とを含むことを特徴とするリチウム電池。
