Abstract
【解決手段】 複数個の単電池7を一列に電気的かつ機械的に直列に接続してなる電池モジュール9を、多数本並列配置してホルダケース10に保持させ、このホルダケース10内に一方向に空気を強制的に流動させることにより、ホルダケース10内の多数本の電池モジュール9を冷却する装置であって、前記空気の流動方向が電池モジュール9の長手方向に直交する方向であり、ホルダケース10内を流れる空気の流速が、上流側より下流側の方が速くなるように、ホルダケース10内に整流手段52を配している。

Claims (8)
- 複数個の単電池を一列に電気的かつ機械的に直列に接続してなる電池モジュールを、多数本並列配置してホルダケースに保持させ、このホルダケース内に一方向に空気を強制的に流動させることにより、ホルダケース内の多数本の電池モジュールを冷却する装置であって、
前記空気の流動方向が電池モジュールの長手方向に直交する方向であり、ホルダケース内を流れる空気の流速が、上流側より下流側の方が速くなるように、ホルダケース内に整流手段を配したことを特徴とする電池電源の冷却装置。 - ホルダケース内の下流側箇所において、ホルダケース内を流れる空気の流速が空気の流れる方向に向け徐々に大となるように、流路面積を漸減させた請求項1記載の電池電源の冷却装置。
- 複数個の単電池を一列に電気的かつ機械的に直列に接続してなる電池モジュールを、多数本並列配置してホルダケースに保持させ、このホルダケース内に一方向に空気を強制的に流動させることにより、ホルダケース内の多数本の電池モジュールを冷却する装置であって、
前記空気の流動方向が電池モジュールの長手方向に直交する方向であり、ホルダケース内を流れる空気に露出する電池モジュールの面積を、上流側より下流側の方が大となるように、ホルダケース内に遮蔽手段を配したことを特徴とする電池電源の冷却装置。 - ホルダケース内の上流側箇所のみに遮蔽手段を配し、ホルダケース内を流れる空気に露出する電池モジュールの面積を、空気の流れる方向に向け徐々に大になるように、前記遮蔽手段を構成した請求項3記載の電池電源の冷却装置。
- 複数個の単電池を一列に電気的かつ機械的に直列に接続してなる電池モジュールを多数本、水平に並列配置してホルダケースに保持させてなる電池電源装置を左右1対備え、これらホルダケースの下方に夫々空気供給室が形成され、圧送式ファンから左右の空気供給室を通じて、夫々の電池電源装置のホルダケースの下部開口に空気を送り、各ホルダケース内を上昇して上部開口から排出される空気流によって電池モジュールを冷却する装置であって、
圧送式ファンは夫々の電池電源装置に、エンドプレートと平行な方向に空気を供給する2つの送風口を有し、これら送風口は各電池電源装置の夫々一方のエンドプレートに近い位置に開口し、各空気供給室の底面には、前記一方のエンドプレート側から他方のエンドプレート側に向け、流路断面積を漸減させるスロープが形成されており、ホルダケース内を流れる空気の流速が、下方側より上方側の方が速くなるように、ホルダケース内に整流手段を配したことを特徴とする電池電源の冷却装置。 - ホルダケース内の上方部箇所において、ホルダケース内を流れる空気の流速が空気の流れる方向に向け徐々に大となるように、流路面積を漸減させた請求項5記載の電池電源の冷却装置。
- ホルダケース内を流れる空気に露出する電池モジュールの面積を、下方側より上方側の方が大となるように、ホルダケース内に遮蔽手段を配した請求項5、6のいずれかに記載の電池電源の冷却装置。
- ホルダケース内の下方部箇所のみに遮蔽手段を配し、ホルダケース内を流れる空気に露出する電池モジュールの面積を、空気の流れる方向に向け徐々に大になるように、前記遮蔽手段を構成した請求項7記載の電池電源の冷却装置。
