Description
次電池と、単位電池の積層方向に位置する2次電池の端面にそれぞれ設けられた集電電極と、集電電極に形成され、2次電池の側面より外方に張り出し、充電および放電用の導電性部材が接続される端子部とを備えた組電池であって、端子部に向けて冷媒を供給して、端子部を冷却するようにする。上記端子部には流通口が形成され、端子部に向けて冷媒が供給されると、冷媒が流通口に向けて案内されることにより端子部が冷却される。好ましくは、流通口の周囲に形成され、冷媒を流通口に向けて案内する案内壁をさらに備える。好ましくは、端子部に形成され、導電性部材が接続される接続部をさらに備え、流通口を接続部の周囲に形成する。好ましくは、2次電池は、正極同士または負極同士が対向するように積層された第1と第2の2次電池を有し、集電電極は、第1の2次電池と第2の2次電池との間に設けられ、第1の2次電池と第2の2次電池とを電気的に接続する第1集電電極と、第1集電電極が設けられた表面と反対側に位置する第1の2次電池の表面に形成され、第1集電電極と極性の異なる第2集電電極とを有し、端子部は、第1集電電極に設けられた第1端子部と、第2集電電極に設けられた第2端子部とを有する。
図1から図6を用いて、本実施の形態1に係る組電池100について説明する。図1は、組電池を収容した電池パック120の周囲に配置され、組電池の端子部を冷却する冷却装置200を示す平面図であり、図2は、本実施の形態1に係る組電池100の斜視図である。
図7から図13を用いて、本実施の形態2に係る組電池の冷却装置について説明する。なお、上記実施の形態1に係る組電池100およびその冷却装置200と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
Claims (4)
- 正極および負極を有する単位電池を複数積層して形成された2次電池と、前記単位電池の積層方向に位置する前記2次電池の端面にそれぞれ設けられた集電電極と、前記集電電極に形成され、前記2次電池の側面より外方に張り出し、充電および放電用の導電性部材が接続される端子部とを備えた組電池であって、
前記端子部には流通口が形成され、前記端子部に向けて冷媒が供給されると、前記冷媒が前記流通口に向けて案内されることにより前記端子部が冷却される、組電池。 - 前記流通口の周囲に形成され、前記冷媒を前記流通口に向けて案内する案内壁をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の組電池。
- 前記端子部に形成され、前記導電性部材が接続される接続部をさらに備え、
前記流通口は、前記接続部の周囲に形成される、請求項2に記載の組電池。 - 前記2次電池は、前記正極同士または前記負極同士が対向するように積層された第1と第2の2次電池を有し、
前記集電電極は、前記第1の2次電池と前記第2の2次電池との間に設けられ、前記第1の2次電池と前記第2の2次電池とを電気的に接続する第1集電電極と、前記第1集電電極が設けられた表面と反対側に位置する前記第1の2次電池の表面に形成され、前記第1集電電極と極性の異なる第2集電電極とを有し、
前記端子部は、前記第1集電電極に設けられた第1端子部と、前記第2集電電極に設けられた第2端子部とを有する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の組電池。
