Abstract
"CATALISADOR SUPORTADO CONTENDO METAL NOBRE E UM PROCESSO PARA A SUA PREPARAçãO". A invenção proporciona um catalisador suportado contendo um metal nobre o qual contém um dentre os metais nobres provenientes do grupo Au, Ag, Pt, Rh, Ru, Ir, Os ou ligas de um ou mais desses metais nobres na forma de partículas de metal nobre sobre um material-suporte em Pó. As partículas depositadas sobre o material-suporte possuem um grau de cristalinidade, determinado pela difração de raios-X, de mais de 2 e um tamanho médio de partícula entre 2 e 10 nm. A cristalinidade alta e o pequeno tamanho de partícula das partículas de metal nobre conduzem a uma alta atividade catalítica para o catalisador. Ela é particularmente adequada para o uso em células combustíveis e para o tratamento dos gases de exaustão provenientes de motores de combustão interna.
