- a large number of unspecified automobiles are arranged.
- the charging device receives radio signals from a plurality of vehicles, that is, radio signals from a plurality of vehicle wireless communication devices.
- the pairing cannot be performed accurately.
- the power supply device of the non-contact charging system described in Patent Document 2 acquires the ID (identification information) of the portable device (charged device) to be charged, and determines the charging target based on the acquired ID.
- ID identification information

- the power supply device 12 having the strongest electromagnetic wave intensity is selected from the intensity information of the ID signals received by the plurality of power supply devices 12.
- the power supply point suitable for charging the mobile device 20 is specified.
- the power supply device 12 specified in this manner is displayed on the display device, that is, the monitor 14 that can be charged.
- the server device 16 authenticates the validity of the portable device 20 based on the ID of the portable device 20 acquired via the power supply device 12 and the ID registered in advance in the database, and charges the portable device 20.
- a condition is set through the specified power feeding device 12. In this way, the specified power supply apparatus 12 performs non-contact charging to the portable device 20.
- the device is authenticated using an ID unique to the device to be charged, in this case, only the device having the ID registered in advance in the server database is only charged.
- the server must manage a vast number of different IDs for each device owned by an unspecified number of users. For this reason, authentication of the device to be charged using the ID, and in turn, complicating pairing prior to contactless charging cannot be avoided.
- the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and its purpose is to easily and accurately identify a charging target device including a vehicle such as an automobile or a portable device, and to contact the charging target device without contact.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a non-contact charging system, a non-contact charging method, a non-contact charging vehicle, and a non-contact charging management device that can realize charging.
- a non-contact charging system includes a charging target device including a storage battery and a charging device having a mutual communication function with the charging target device, and the charging target corresponding to the charging device. It is a non-contact charging system that charges the storage battery by transmitting electric power to a device in a non-contact manner, and in such a system, the charging device uses an area ID as information for recognizing the presence of the charging target device. Is assigned to the charging area, the assigned area ID is transmitted, and the charging target device that is the power transmission target is determined based on the fact that the transmitted area ID is returned from the charging target device by the mutual communication function. The power is identified and transmitted to the identified charging target device in a non-contact manner.
- the area ID for the charging device to recognize the presence of the charging target device is allocated to the charging area included in the charging device, and the allocated area ID is transmitted from the charging device to the charging target device.
- the charging target device serving as the transmission source of the area ID is a device that exists in the charging area, that is, a device that should be a power transmission target. Specified by the charging device. For this reason, the charging device can specify the charging target device only by assigning area IDs corresponding to the number of charging areas and acquiring the allocated and returned area ID from the charging target device.
- the charging device can specify a device to be charged without acquiring an ID or personal information unique to the device to be charged from the device to be charged.
- the charging device since the charging device only needs to assign the area IDs as many as the number of charging areas, it is possible to specify the device to be charged with the minimum necessary ID, and management of the area ID becomes easy. As a result, the charging device can easily and accurately specify the charging target device and realize non-contact charging to the charging target device.
- the charging target device identified based on the transmission of the area ID by short-range wireless communication between the charging device and the charging target device
- the pairing that is the communication connection setting between the charging device and the charging device is performed, and as the second communication by the mutual communication function, the short-range wireless communication between the paired charging target device and the charging device is Through different wireless communication, power control of power transmitted from the charging area to the charging target device in a contactless manner is performed.
- the charging device and the charging target device are paired prior to the power control based on the transmission of the area ID between the charging device and the charging target device. Then, wireless communication for power control is performed between the paired charging target device and the charging device. For this reason, even if there are an unspecified number of charging target devices around the charging device and the communication range by the second communication overlaps between the charging target devices, the charging device should communicate by wireless communication It is possible to accurately specify the charging target. This makes it possible to establish the pairing easily and accurately through simple processing such as transmission and return of the area ID, and second communication between the paired charging device and the charging target device. It is possible to accurately perform power control based on. Further, for example, the communication device between the charging device and the charging target device and the power transfer can be established in a non-contact manner without requiring, for example, a physical connection between the charging device and the charging target device. It becomes possible.
- the charging device includes a plurality of charging areas, assigns an area ID to each of the plurality of charging areas, and transmits the assigned area ID separately.
- the charging area and the charging target device that are the power transmission target are specified based on the returned area ID, and the specified charging area is specified. Power is transmitted to the charging target device in a contactless manner.
- the present invention is particularly effective when there are a plurality of charging areas and a plurality of charging target devices as in the above-described configuration. That is, according to the said structure, the charge object apparatus which exists in each charge area is each identified through transmission and reply of each area ID allocated for every some area by the charging device. For this reason, the charging device can accurately specify each charging target device existing in a plurality of charging areas, and can accurately perform non-contact charging to each of the specified charging target devices.
- the charging target device adds a device ID, which is unique information for identifying the charging target device, to the area ID transmitted from the charging device and returns the device ID to the charging device.
- the charging device specifies a charging target device to be a power transmission target of the power including its accompanying information based on a device ID returned together with an area ID from the charging target device.
- the device ID is returned from the charging target device together with the area ID to the charging device.
- a charging device specifies the charge object apparatus used as electric power transmission object also including the accompanying information by those area ID and apparatus ID.
- the charging device can specify accompanying information such as the type and specification of the charging target device and the owner of the charging target device together with the specification of the charging target device to be charged. For this reason, the charging device can charge the charging target device by using such accompanying information, for example, power setting suitable for the type of the charging target device, charging for the owner of the charging target device, etc. Can be done.
- the device ID includes specification information indicating a specification of a charging target device corresponding to the power transmission target, and the charging device is based on the specification information included in the device ID. Then, the specification of the charging target device that is the power transmission target is determined, and the power corresponding to the determined specification is set as the power to be transmitted to the charging target device.
- the specifications of the charging target device vary depending on the type of the device, and it is desirable that the power value and the amount of power transmitted from the charging device to the charging target device in a non-contact manner are also set according to such specifications. Therefore, according to the above configuration, the area ID transmitted by itself is returned from the charging target device to the charging device, and the device ID including the specification information of the charging target device is returned. For this reason, the charging device can specify the specification of the charging target device in conjunction with the specification of the charging target device to be charged. Accordingly, the charging device can appropriately charge the charging target device in accordance with the specification of each charging target device through power transmission according to the specification of the charging target device.
- the charging device includes a primary coil for power transmission corresponding to the charging area
- the charging target device includes a secondary coil electromagnetically coupled to the primary coil
- the charging Power is transmitted from the area to the device to be charged by electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic resonance between the primary coil and the secondary coil.
- the charging device transmits power from the charging area to the charging target device by electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic resonance between the primary coil and the secondary coil, the coils are opposed to each other. It is possible to perform non-contact charging between the charging device and the charging target device simply by making it. This makes it possible to more easily realize non-contact charging to the specified charging target device.
- the charging device transmits the area ID to the charging target device by using electromagnetic coupling between the primary coil and the secondary coil, and the charging target device Performs guidance to the charging area for the user of the charging target device based on the signal strength exchanged between the primary coil and the secondary coil.
- the charging device transmits the area ID to the charging target device by using, for example, pulse modulation, AM modulation, and FM modulation by using electromagnetic coupling between the primary coil and the secondary coil.
- the magnetic field strength of the primary coil and the secondary coil has a characteristic of locally increasing centering on the position where both the coils face each other, and the range covered by the magnetic field of each coil is an extremely narrow range. Therefore, the communication range based on the electromagnetic coupling of the primary coil and the secondary coil is also limited to the vicinity of each coil.
- a secondary coil is also disposed at a position adjacent to the device to be charged. Even if there is another device to be charged having a coil, electromagnetic coupling is established only between the primary coil and the secondary coil that face each other. In other words, the primary coil is only electromagnetically coupled only to the secondary coil disposed in the charging area so as to face the primary coil, and is not electromagnetically coupled to the secondary coil existing at a position adjacent to the device to be charged.
- the charging device can reliably transmit the area ID for specifying the charging target device only to the charging target device to be specified.
- the charging device since the primary coil for power transmission is usually arranged in the charging area, the charging device has communication established by electromagnetic coupling between the secondary coil and the primary coil. It is possible to easily recognize that the transmission source of the area ID returned through the communication exists in the charging area.
- the charging target device since the guidance of the charging target device to the charging area is also executed based on the signal strength exchanged between the primary coil and the secondary coil, the charging target device is It is possible to accurately guide the charging area, that is, the position facing the primary coil. As a result, power transmission from the charging device to the charging target device via both coils as well as communication using the electromagnetic coupling can be performed at a specified charging position. It can also be raised.
- the device to be charged is an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle including the storage battery as a power source of an electric motor, and the charging device supplies power from the charging area to the storage battery of the electric vehicle or the hybrid vehicle. It has a charging station that transmits electricity.
- the charging station can accurately identify the vehicle to be charged only by collecting (collecting) the area ID assigned by the charging device from the vehicle to be charged. .
- the charging device further includes a management center that generates the area ID each time or registers in advance in a database and remotely manages the area ID with respect to the charging area, and the charging target Transmission of the area ID to the device is performed as direct distribution from the management center or as indirect distribution from the management center via the charging device.
- the area ID is collectively managed by the management center, and the area ID is directly or indirectly distributed from the management center to the charging target device. For this reason, even if there are a large number of charging areas or each charging area is scattered over a wide area, the charging device can replace each charging target device to be charged in those charging areas. It becomes possible to specify exactly and charge each specified charging target device. As a result, the charging device can collectively manage area IDs used in a wide range and a large number of charging areas by the management center, and the versatility of the contactless charging system is expanded.
- a non-contact charging method transmits power to a corresponding charging target device in a non-contact manner from a charging device having a mutual communication function with the charging target device including a storage battery.
- a non-contact charging method for charging the storage battery wherein the non-contact charging method of the present invention is performed by the charging device a. Assigning an area ID to the charging area as information for recognizing the presence of the device to be charged, and transmitting the assigned area ID; b. Based on the fact that this transmitted area ID is returned from the charging target device by the mutual communication function, the charging target device to be the power transmission target from the charging device is specified as the power transmission target.
- a charging target device is specified, and electric power is transmitted to the specified charging target device in a contactless manner.
- the charging device can specify the charging target device only by assigning area IDs corresponding to the number of charging areas and acquiring the allocated and returned area ID from the charging target device.
- the charging device can specify a device to be charged without acquiring an ID or personal information unique to the device to be charged from the device to be charged.
- the area IDs since it is sufficient to assign the area IDs as many as the number of charging areas, it is possible to specify a device to be charged with the minimum necessary ID, and management of the area ID becomes easy. As a result, the charging device can easily and accurately specify the charging target device and realize non-contact charging to the charging target device.
- the charging target device identified based on the transmission of the area ID by short-range wireless communication between the charging device and the charging target device
- the second communication by the mutual communication function is different from the short-range wireless communication between the paired charging target device and the charging device as the second communication by the mutual communication function. Power control of the power transmitted from the charging area to the charging target device in a non-contact manner is performed through wireless communication.
- pairing between the charging device and the charging target device is performed prior to the power control based on the transmission of the area ID between the charging device and the charging target device. Then, wireless communication for power control is performed between the paired charging target device and the charging device. For this reason, for example, even if there are many unspecified charging target devices around the charging device and the communication range by the second communication overlaps between the charging target devices, the charging device communicates by wireless communication. It is possible to accurately specify the charging target.
- the charging device includes a plurality of charging areas, and the step of transmitting the area ID allocates an area ID for each of the plurality of charging areas, and assigns the allocated area ID to each of the charging areas.
- the step of transmitting and specifying the device to be charged is based on an area ID when the transmitted area ID is returned from the device to be charged, and a charging area and a device to be charged as a power transmission target from the charging device Is identified.
- the present invention is particularly effective when there are a plurality of charging areas and a plurality of charging target devices as in the above-described configuration. That is, according to the above method, the charging target devices existing in each charging area are identified through transmission and return of each area ID assigned to each of the plurality of areas by the charging device. For this reason, the charging device can accurately specify each charging target device existing in a plurality of charging areas, and can accurately perform non-contact charging to each of the specified charging target devices.
- the contactless charging method further includes, when the charging target device is specified, the charging target device, from the charging device, a device ID that is unique information for identifying the charging target device. Adding the transmitted area ID to the charging device and returning it to the charging device, wherein the charging device is configured to transmit the power based on the device ID returned together with the area ID from the charging target device in the specifying step.
- the charging target device including the accompanying information is specified.
- the charging device can charge the charging target device by using such accompanying information, for example, power setting suitable for the type of the charging target device, charging for the owner of the charging target device, etc. Can be done.
- the device ID includes specification information indicating a specification of a charging target device corresponding to the power transmission target, and the charging device transmits power to the specified charging target device.
- the specification of the charging target device that is the power transmission target is determined based on the specification information included in the device ID, and the power corresponding to the determined specification is set as the power to be transmitted to the charging target device.
- the specifications of the charging target device vary depending on the type of the device, and it is desirable that the power value and the amount of power transmitted from the charging device to the charging target device in a non-contact manner are also set according to such specifications. Therefore, according to the above method, the area ID transmitted by itself is returned from the charging target device to the charging device, and the device ID including the specification information of the charging target device is returned from the charging target device. Therefore, the charging apparatus can specify the specification of the charging target device in conjunction with the specification of the charging target device to be charged. Accordingly, the charging device can appropriately charge the charging target device in accordance with the specification of each charging target device through power transmission according to the specification of the charging target device.
- the charging device includes a primary coil for power transmission corresponding to the charging area, and the charging target device includes a secondary coil that is electromagnetically coupled to the primary coil. Power transmission from the charging device to the specified charging target device is performed by electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic resonance between the primary coil and the secondary coil.

- the charging device can transmit the area ID to the charging target device by using, for example, pulse modulation, AM modulation, and FM modulation by using electromagnetic coupling between the primary coil and the secondary coil. It becomes possible. Further, the magnetic field strength of the primary coil and the secondary coil has a characteristic of locally increasing centering on the position where both the coils face each other, and the range covered by the magnetic field of each coil is an extremely narrow range. Therefore, the communication range based on the electromagnetic coupling of the primary coil and the secondary coil is also limited to the vicinity of each coil.
- the secondary coil is also disposed at a position adjacent to the device to be charged. Even if there is another device to be charged including the secondary coil, electromagnetic coupling is established only between the primary coil and the secondary coil facing each other. In other words, the primary coil is only electromagnetically coupled only to the secondary coil disposed in the charging area so as to face the primary coil, and is not electromagnetically coupled to the secondary coil existing at a position adjacent to the device to be charged.
- the charging device can transmit the power. Only the area ID corresponding to the target can be transmitted to the charging target device existing in the charging area. Thereby, the charging device can reliably transmit the area ID for specifying the charging target device only to the charging target device to be specified.
- the charging device since the primary coil for power transmission is usually arranged in the charging area, the charging device has communication established by electromagnetic coupling between the secondary coil and the primary coil. It is possible to easily recognize that the transmission source of the area ID returned through the communication exists in the charging area.

Abstract
Description
