(1)デキストリンと脂肪酸とのエステル化物であって、デキストリンのグルコースの平均重合度が3~150であり、脂肪酸が炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸の1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸に対して50mol%より多く100mol%以下、及び、炭素数2~22の直鎖飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6~30の直鎖又は分岐の不飽和脂肪酸及び炭素数6~30の環状の飽和又は不飽和脂肪酸よりなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸に対して0mol%以上50mol%未満を含有し、グルコース単位当たりの脂肪酸の置換度が1.0~3.0であることを特徴とするデキストリン脂肪酸エステル、

(3)ASTM D445測定方法による40℃における動粘度が8mm2/sである流動パラフィンのゲル化能を有しないことを特徴とする上記(1)又は(2)に記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル、及び、
(4)デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを40質量%含有する軽質流動イソパラフィン溶液をガラス板に400μm厚のアプリケーターで成膜し、乾燥させた皮膜に、テクスチャーアナライザーを用いて100gの荷重をかけ、10秒保持後に0.5mm/秒で離したときの接触点にかかる荷重変化(最大応力値)が30~1000gであることを特徴とする上記(1)~(3)のいずれかに記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルに関する。

(デキストリン脂肪酸エステル)
本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルは、デキストリンと脂肪酸とのエステル化物であり、デキストリンへの脂肪酸の置換度は、グルコース単位当たり1.0~3.0であり、好ましくは1.2~2.8である。この置換度が1.0未満であると液状油等への溶解温度が100℃以上と高くなり、着色や特異な臭いが生じ、好ましくない。
1)本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルは、液状油に混合したときに液状油がゲル化しない。
「液状油がゲル化しない」とは、ASTM D445測定方法による40℃における動粘度が8mm2/sである流動パラフィンを液状油とする場合、本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを5質量%含有する該流動パラフィンを100℃で溶解し、24時間後25℃で粘度を測定したとき、粘度が、Yamco DIGITAL VISCOMATE粘度計VM-100A(振動式)(山一電機社製)の検出限界以下であることを意味する。なお、ゲル化する場合には、粘度が検出されることで確認できる。
2)本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルが形成する皮膜が特定範囲のタック性を有する。
「タック性」を、支持体に該デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを塗布し、もうひとつの支持体を相互に離れた状態から面接触させた後に、後退させて別離させ、後退を開始してから完全に別離するまでの接触点にかかる荷重変化(最大応力値)で表す場合、該デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを40質量%含有する軽質流動イソパラフィン溶液をガラス板に400μm厚のアプリケーターで成膜し、乾燥させた皮膜に、テクスチャーアナライザー、たとえば、テクスチャーアナライザーTA.XTplus(Stable Micro Systems社製)を用いて、プローブとして直径12.5mm円柱状のポリアセタール樹脂(Delrin(登録商標)デュポン社製)製プローブを使用し、100gの荷重をかけ10秒保持後に0.5mm/秒で離したときの荷重変化、すなわちタック性が30~1,000gである。

次に、本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルの製造方法について説明する。
製造方法としては、特に限定されず、公知の製法を採用することができるが、たとえば以下のようにして製造することができる。
その場合、全脂肪酸誘導体に対して炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸誘導体の1種又は2種以上を50mol%より多く100mol%以下、及び、その他の脂肪酸誘導体を全脂肪酸誘導体に対して0mol%以上50mol%未満使用する。
1)及び2)のいずれも場合も、まず、デキストリンを反応溶媒に分散し、必要に応じて触媒を添加する。これに、上記脂肪酸のハロゲン化物、酸無水物等を添加して反応させる。1)の製造法の場合は、これらの酸を混合して同時に添加反応させ、2)の製造法の場合は、まず反応性の低い分岐飽和脂肪酸誘導体を反応させた後、次いでその他の脂肪酸誘導体を添加反応させる。
次に本発明の新規デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを含有する組成物について詳述する。本発明の新規デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを組成物に配合する場合、その配合量は特に限定されないが、好ましくは0.01~90質量%、さらに好ましくは0.1~50質量%である。
上記用途に応じて、配合可能な成分を適宜配合することができる。
例えば、化粧料の場合については、本発明の新規デキストリン脂肪酸エステルの効果を妨げない範囲で通常の化粧料に使用される成分、例えば油剤、界面活性剤、アルコール類、水、保湿剤、ゲル化剤及び増粘剤、粉体、紫外線吸収剤、防腐剤、抗菌剤、酸化防止剤、美肌用成分(美白剤、細胞賦活剤、抗炎症剤、血行促進剤、皮膚収斂剤、抗脂漏剤等)、ビタミン類、アミノ酸類、核酸、ホルモン等を配合することができる。
固形油としてはカルナウバロウ、キャンデリラロウ、綿ロウ、セラックロウ、硬化油等の天然ロウ類、オゾケライト、セレシン、パラフィンワックス、マイクロクリスタリンワックス等の鉱物系ワックス、ポリエチレンワックス、フィッシャートロプシュワックス、エチレン・プロピレンコポリマー等の合成ワックス、ベヘニルアルコール、セチルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、コレステロール、フィトステロールなどの高級アルコール、ステアリン酸、ベヘン酸などの高級脂肪酸等を例示することができる。
液状油で、天然動植物油及び半合成油としては、具体的にアボガド油、アマニ油、アーモンド油、イボタロウ、エノ油、オリーブ油、カヤ油、肝油、キョウニン油、小麦胚芽油、ゴマ油、コメ胚芽油、コメヌカ油、サザンカ油、サフラワー油、シナギリ油、シナモン油、タートル油、大豆油、茶実油、ツバキ油、月見草油、トウモロコシ油、ナタネ油、日本キリ油、ヌカロウ、胚芽油、パーシック油、パーム油、パーム核油、ヒマシ油、ヒマワリ油、ブドウ油、ホホバ油、マカデミアナッツ油、綿実油、ヤシ油、トリヤシ油脂肪酸グリセライド、落花生油、ラノリン、液状ラノリン、還元ラノリン、ラノリンアルコール、酢酸ラノリン、ラノリン脂肪酸イソプロピル、POEラノリンアルコールエーテル、POEラノリンアルコールアセテート、ラノリン脂肪酸ポリエチレングリコール、POE水素添加ラノリンアルコールエーテル、卵黄油等が挙げられる。
炭化水素油としては、スクワラン、スクワレン、流動パラフィン、プリスタン、ポリイソブチレン等が挙げられる。
エステル油としては、アジピン酸ジイソブチル、アジピン酸2-ヘキシルデシル、アジピン酸ジ-2-ヘプチルウンデシル、モノイソステアリン酸N-アルキルグリコール、イソステアリン酸イソセチル、トリイソステアリン酸トリメチロールプロパン、2-エチルヘキサン酸セチル、ジ-2-エチルヘキサン酸エチレングリコール、ジ-2-エチルヘキサン酸ネオペンチルグリコール、トリ-2-エチルヘキサン酸トリメチロールプロパン、テトラ-2-エチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリトール、オクタン酸セチル、オクチルドデシルガムエステル、オレイン酸オレイル、オレイン酸オクチルドデシル、オレイン酸デシル、ジカプリン酸ネオペンチルグリコール、クエン酸トリエチル、コハク酸2-エチルヘキシル、酢酸アミル、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、ステアリン酸イソセチル、ステアリン酸ブチル、セバシン酸ジイソプロピル、セバシン酸ジ-2-エチルヘキシル、乳酸セチル、乳酸ミリスチル、パルミチン酸イソプロピル、パルミチン酸2-エチルヘキシル、パルミチン酸2-ヘキシルデシル、パルミチン酸2-ヘプチルウンデシル、12-ヒドロキシステアリル酸コレステリル、ジペンタエリスリトール脂肪酸エステル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、ミリスチン酸2-オクチルドデシル、ミリスチン酸2-ヘキシルデシル、ミリスチン酸ミリスチル、ジメチルオクタン酸ヘキシルデシル、ラウリン酸エチル、ラウリン酸ヘキシル、N-ラウロイル-L-グルタミン酸-2-オクチルドデシルエステル、リンゴ酸ジイソステアリル等が挙げられる。
グリセライド油としては、アセトグリセライド、トリイソオクタン酸グリセライド、トリイソステアリン酸グリセライド、トリイソパルミチン酸グリセライド、トリ-2-エチルヘキサン酸グリセライド、モノステアリン酸グリセライド、ジ-2-ヘプチルウンデカン酸グリセライド、トリミリスチン酸グリセライド等が挙げられる。
シリコーン油としては、ジメチルポリシロキサン、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン、テトラメチルテトラハイドロジェンシクロテトラシロキサン、アルキル変性シリコーン等が挙げられる。
高級アルコールとしてはオレイルアルコール、ラウリルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、イソステアリルアルコール、2-オクチルドデカノール等が挙げられる。
高級脂肪酸としてはオレイン酸、パルミチン酸、ミリスチン酸、ステアリン酸、イソステアリン酸等が挙げられる。
有機溶剤としてはn-ヘキサン、シクロヘキサンなどの炭化水素、ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族化合物、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル等の非芳香族系化合物、クロロホルム、ジクロロメタン、ジクロロエタン等の塩素系化合物、ジオキサン、テトラハイドロフラン等のエーテル系化合物、2-プロパノール、ベンジルアルコール、フェノキシエタノール、カービトール類、セロソルブ類、ポリブテン、スピンドル油等が挙げられる。
保湿剤としては尿素、ヒアルロン酸、コンドロイチン硫酸、ピロリドンカルボン酸塩等が挙げられる。
上記粉体は必要に応じて1種又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。
[製造例1:デキストリンイソステアリン酸(エメリー型)エステル]
平均グルコース重合度30のデキストリン21.41g(0.132mol)をジメチルホルムアミド71g、3-メチルピリジン62g(0.666mol)とからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)120g(0.396mol)を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質107gを得た。
このIRスペクトルから1000~1200cm-1にデキストリン由来、1742cm-1にエステル由来、2800~3000cm-1にアルキル由来のピークを確認した。また、アルカリ分解後の脂肪酸量とガスクロマトグラフィーから、置換度2.2、イソステアリン酸60mol%、その他の脂肪酸40mol%(内パルミチン酸10mol%)であった。
製造例1記載の原料・方法に準じ、製造例2は、平均グルコース重合度30のデキストリン0.132molに対し、イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)を0.172mol用い、置換度1.0のデキストリンイソステアリン酸(エメリー型)エステルを得た。製造例3は平均グルコース重合度30のデキストリン0.132molに対し、イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)を0.224mol用い、置換度1.4のデキストリンイソステアリン酸(エメリー型)エステルを得た。製造例4は平均グルコース重合度30のデキストリン0.132molに対し、イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)を0.502mol用い、置換度2.6のデキストリンイソステアリン酸(エメリー型)エステルを得た。
イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)の代わりにイソステアリン酸クロライド(ガーベット反応型)を用いた以外は製造例1と同様に作成し、淡黄色の樹脂状物質80gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度1.8であった。
イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)の代わりにイソステアリン酸クロライド(アルドール縮合型)を用いた以外は製造例1と同様に作成し、淡黄色の樹脂状物質60gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度1.2であった。
平均グルコース重合度150のデキストリン51.28gをジメチルホルムアミド150g、ピリジン60gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソアラキン酸クロライド132gとパルミチン酸クロライド12gの混合物を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質145gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度1.1、イソアラキン酸85mol%、パルミチン酸15mol%であった。
平均グルコース重合度5のデキストリン34.19gを3-メチルピリジン215gに70℃で分散させ、イソ酪酸クロライド50g及びカプリン酸クロライド60gの混合物を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をエタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質98gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度2.9、イソ酪酸63mol%、カプリン酸37mol%であった。
平均グルコース重合度100のデキストリン23.62gをジメチルホルムアミド71g、3-メチルピリジン62gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソパルミチン酸クロライド100gを30分間滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質90gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度2.0であった。
平均グルコース重合度20のデキストリン36.34gをジメチルホルムアミド120g、3-メチルピリジン62gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソノナン酸クロライド41g及びステアリン酸クロライド58gの混合物を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質95gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度1.6、イソノナン酸51mol%、ステアリン酸49mol%であった。
平均グルコース重合度20のデキストリン54.56gをジメチルホルムアミド150g、3-メチルピリジン130gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、2-エチルヘキサン酸クロライド147g、次いでベヘン酸クロライド36gを計30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質95gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度2.3、2-エチルヘキサン酸95mol%、ベヘン酸5mol%であった。
平均グルコース重合度20のデキストリン22.56gをジメチルホルムアミド71g、3-メチルピリジン70gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソパルミチン酸クロライド110g及び無水酢酸10gの混合物を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質96gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度2.8、イソパルミチン酸79mol%、酢酸21mol%であった。
平均グルコース重合度40のデキストリン19.99gをジメチルホルムアミド71g、3-メチルピリジン62gとからなる混合溶媒に70℃で分散させ、イソステアリン酸クロライド(エメリー型)108gとオレイン酸クロライド12gの混合物を30分間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、反応温度を80℃として5時間反応させた。反応終了後、反応液をメタノールに分散させ、上層を除去した。半固形分をメタノールで数回洗浄後、乾燥して淡黄色の樹脂状物質88gを得た。製造例1と同様にして測定を行い、置換度2.2、イソステアリン酸54mol%、その他の脂肪酸46mol%(内、オレイン酸10mol%)であった。
製造例1記載のイソステアリン酸クロライドの替わりにパルミチン酸クロライドを用い反応mol数を変えて、同様の方法により、直鎖脂肪酸が100mol%である、比較例1(置換度2.2)のデキストリンパルミチン酸エステル及び比較例2(置換度1.5)のデキストリンパルミチン酸エステルを得た。また、同様に、2-エチルヘキサン酸クロライドとパルミチン酸クロライドを用い、分岐飽和脂肪酸25mol%直鎖飽和脂肪酸が75mol%である比較例3(置換度1.5)のデキストリン2-エチルヘキサン酸/パルミチン酸エステルを得た。
製造例1~13及び比較例1~3で製造したデキストリン脂肪酸エステル、並びにトリメチルシロキシケイ酸(比較例4)、ロジン酸ペンタエリスリトール(比較例5)につき、以下に示す方法でタック性及び粘度を測定した。表1にそれらの結果を示す。
各試料をIPクリーンLX(軽質流動イソパラフィン)に40%溶解した溶液を、ガラス板に400μm厚のアプリケーターで塗布し、その皮膜を室温24時間乾燥後、70℃で12時間保存した後、室温25℃におけるタック性を、以下に示す機器および条件で評価した。
[測定機器]テクスチャーアナライザーTA.XTplus(Stable Micro Systems社製)
[プローブ]1/2 Cyl.Delrin(ポリアセタール樹脂(POM))P/0.5)、直径12.5mm円柱状
[測定条件]Test Speed:0.5mm/sec, Applied Force:100g, Contact Time:10sec
各試料を5質量%含有する流動パラフィンを100℃で溶解し、室温(25℃)まで冷却する。25℃の恒温槽で24時間保温し、以下の測定機器を用いて粘度を測定した。
尚、流動パラフィンはASTM D445測定方法による40℃の動粘度が8mm2/sのものを使用した。

*7:シリコーンKF-7312J(信越化学工業社製)
*8:エステルガムHP(荒川化学工業社製)
上記製造例において製造した本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを用いて以下の化粧料を作製した。
下記組成及び製法にてリキッドファンデーションを調製した。

A:成分1~2を均一に混合溶解した。
B:成分3~8を加温溶解した。
C:Bに成分9~16を混合して分散した。
D:成分17~20を均一に混合した。
E:60℃でCにDを加えて乳化した。
F:冷却後、EにA及び成分21を加えて混合し、リキッドファンデーションを得た。
また、成分1の本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル(製造例1)に替えて、製造例2~13のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを用いて得たリキッドファンデーションも滑らかな使用感と付着性に非常に優れ、化粧持ちの良好なものであった。
一方、成分1の本発明のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル(製造例1)に替えて、比較例1のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを用いて得たリキッドファンデーションは、付着性に欠け、化粧もちの悪いものであった。
また、比較例2のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを用いて得たリキッドファンデーションは、付着性に欠けるため化粧膜の均一性を損なうものであった。
また、比較例3のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを用いて得たリキッドファンデーションは、滑らかさはあるものの付着性に欠け化粧膜の均一性を損なうものであった。
また、比較例4を用いて得たリキッドファンデーションは、非常に使用感が重くなり付着性に欠け、使用感が悪いものであった。

Claims (8)
- デキストリンと脂肪酸とのエステル化物であって、デキストリンのグルコースの平均重合度が3~150であり、脂肪酸が炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸の1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸に対して50mol%より多く100mol%以下、及び、炭素数2~22の直鎖飽和脂肪酸、炭素数6~30の直鎖又は分岐の不飽和脂肪酸及び炭素数6~30の環状の飽和又は不飽和脂肪酸よりなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸に対して0mol%以上50mol%未満を含有し、グルコース単位当たりの脂肪酸の置換度が1.0~3.0であることを特徴とするデキストリン脂肪酸エステル。
- 分岐飽和脂肪酸が、炭素数12~22の分岐飽和脂肪酸の1種又は2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル。
- ASTM D445測定方法による40℃における動粘度が8mm2/sである流動パラフィンのゲル化能を有しないことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル。
- デキストリン脂肪酸エステルを40質量%含有する軽質流動イソパラフィン溶液をガラス板に400μm厚のアプリケーターで成膜し、乾燥させた皮膜に、テクスチャーアナライザーを用いて100gの荷重をかけ、10秒保持後に0.5mm/秒で離したときの接触点にかかる荷重変化(最大応力値)が30~1000gであることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステル。
- グルコースの平均重合度が3~150であるデキストリンと、炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸誘導体の1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸誘導体に対して50mol%より多く100mol%以下、及び、炭素数2~22の直鎖飽和脂肪酸誘導体、炭素数6~30の直鎖又は分岐の不飽和脂肪酸誘導体及び炭素数6~30の環状の飽和又は不飽和脂肪酸誘導体よりなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸誘導体に対して0mol%以上50mol%未満を含有する脂肪酸誘導体とを反応させることを特徴とするデキストリン脂肪酸エステルの製造方法。
- グルコースの平均重合度が3~150であるデキストリンと、炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸誘導体の1種又は2種以上とを反応させ、次いで、その生成物と炭素数2~22の直鎖飽和脂肪酸誘導体、炭素数6~30の直鎖又は分岐の不飽和脂肪酸誘導体及び炭素数6~30の環状の飽和又は不飽和脂肪酸誘導体よりなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上とを反応させることによりデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを製造する方法であって、全脂肪酸誘導体に対して炭素数4~26の分岐飽和脂肪酸誘導体の1種又は2種以上を50mol%より多く100mol%以下、及び、炭素数2~22の直鎖飽和脂肪酸誘導体、炭素数6~30の直鎖又は分岐の不飽和脂肪酸誘導体及び炭素数6~30の環状の飽和又は不飽和脂肪酸誘導体よりなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を全脂肪酸誘導体に対して0mol%以上50mol%未満使用することを特徴とするデキストリン脂肪酸エステルの製造方法。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを含有することを特徴とする化粧料、医薬品、医薬部外品、文具、塗料又はインキ用基剤。
- 請求項5又は6に記載の製造方法により得られたデキストリン脂肪酸エステルを含有することを特徴とする化粧料、医薬品、医薬部外品、文具、塗料又はインキ用基剤。
