Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a copper alloy with improved tackiness and a method for producing the same.
  • Copper alloys used in electronic devices have been plated in various ways to provide functionality. For example, when used for lead frames, silver plating for wire bonding and its base Copper soldering, solder soldering for board mounting, etc. are performed. In recent years, plating lead frames have also been used in which the entire surface of the lead frame is plated after lead processing by etching or pressing. In this case, palladium plating or nickel plating as the base is applied.
  • the base copper plating is exposed at the portion where silver plating is not applied, and is heated in the packaging process to form an oxide film on the surface of the lead frame.
  • abnormal deposition of copper plating for example, when porous precipitation occurs, an oxide film with poor adhesion is formed on the surface of the lead frame, reducing the adhesion between the mold resin and the lead frame, and soldering to the board.
