- an olefin polymer obtained by using an organometallic complex catalyst containing a cyclopentadenyl group generally has a feature that the composition such as the molecular weight of the polymer is uniform, but the conventional polymer has a feature. It has been pointed out that heat resistance is inferior to that obtained from Ziegler type catalysts. The reason for this is that it is said that the olefin polymer produced with the usual meta-mouth catalyst contains several percent of heterogeneous bonds of monomer units, which adversely affects physical properties.
