Description
本案一般關於包含滑片層的複合壓出扶手之領域。
Angioletti等人的美國專利第4,087,223號揭示一種壓出裝置,連續性生產C形截面的彈料性材料製扶手。壓出裝置設有分開的單獨開口,以引進扶手之各種元件,並有機構,將該元件連續造形,且連續配置在彼此正確位置,進入彈料性材料內。
Weatherall等人的美國專利第6,237,740號揭示一種活動扶手構造,供電扶梯、活動走道,以及具有一般C形截面並界定內部一般T形槽之其他傳送裝置。扶手係由壓出形成,包括第一層熱塑性材料,繞T形槽延伸。第二層熱塑性材料繞第一層外側延伸,界定扶手之外部擠型。滑片層襯在T形槽內,與第一層結合。拉伸抑制器在第一層內延伸。第一層係由比第二層為硬的熱塑性材料形成,已知對邊緣可賦予改進性能,對直線驅動提供改進驅動特性。
在本說明一要旨中,提供扶手的滑片層之乾式預處理方法。此方法包括:輸送滑片層通過加熱模組;在加熱模組內維持滑片層於提升溫度停留一段時間;從加熱模組排出滑片層。
此方法又包括維持一部份滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。此方法又包括把滑片層從加熱模組在控制下輸送至壓出模頭。
此方法又包括提供滑片層源,並使用第一控制進料器,把至少第一部份的滑片層從滑片層源輸送到加熱模組,同時維持第一部份的滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。此方法又包括使用第二控制進料器,把第二部份的滑片層從加熱模組輸送到壓出模頭,同時維持第二部份滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。
此方法又包括把壓出模頭定位在與加熱模組隔開,使滑片層得以冷卻。此方法又包括減少從壓出模頭到滑片層之熱傳送,在與滑片層接觸的壓出模頭部份提供冷卻嵌件,可減少從壓出模頭至滑片層之熱傳送。冷卻嵌件可為水冷式。
加熱模組可包括串聯對齊的複數加熱板。滑片層可由編織材料形成。編織材料可為聚酯布或棉布。
提升溫度和停留時間可充分到造成滑片層收縮。提升溫度可在150-250℃。
本說明書另一要旨,在於提供扶手的滑片層之預處理裝置。此裝置包括滑片層源;加熱模組以維持滑片層在提升溫度;輸送裝置,把滑片層從滑片層源輸送通過加熱模組,從加熱模組排出滑片層;和至少一控制進料器,維持至少一部份滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。
至少一控制進料器包括第一控制進料器,位於滑片層源和加熱模組之間,在滑片層從滑片層源輸送到加熱模組之時,第一控制進料器可供維持第一部份的滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。至少一控制進料器可包括第二控制進料器,位於加熱模組和壓出模頭之間,在滑片層從加熱模組輸送到壓出模頭之時,第二控制進料器可供維持第二部份的滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。
此裝置又包括冷卻區,在壓出模頭和加熱模組之間。壓出模頭包括冷卻嵌件,供降低滑片層之溫度。冷卻嵌件可為水冷式。加熱模組包含串聯對齊的複數加熱板。
本說明書又一要旨,設有在壓出式扶手的滑片層在預處理之際的運動控制裝置。此裝置包括:控制滑片層運動用之進料機制,和至少一感測器,供監察滑片層之拉力,並提供反饋至進料機制,以維持一部份滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈。
進料機制包括馬達,和至少一對相對立輥子。感測器包括光學或雷射感測器。
本申請人教示之上述及其他特點均在本案內加以規範。
茲參照附圖詳述本發明之一或以上具體例如下。
以下說明之各種裝置或方法,提供本發明各項申請專利範圍之具體例。以下所述具體例不限制所請求之發明,而任何請求之發明可涵蓋以下未提到之裝置和方法。所請求之發明不限於具有下述任一裝置或方法全部特點,或下述裝置多項或全部共有特點之裝置或方法。一項或多項發明可在於下述或本案其他部份所述裝置元件或方法步驟之組合或副組合。下述裝置或方法亦可為非任何請求發明之具體例。本申請人、發明人和/或所有權人保留本案未請求到的下述裝置或方法揭示之任何發明權,不放棄、拋棄權利或獻出本案揭示之任何發明。
扶手已屬公知,是電扶梯、活動坡道或其他運送裝置之標準組件。此等扶手之典型造型係複合結構,具有一般C形截面,並界定內部一般T形槽,扶手包括(i)一層或多層熱塑性材料,繞T形槽延伸,並界定扶手之外部擠型;(ii)拉伸抑制器,嵌設於第一層內;和(iii)滑片層,內襯於T形槽,並結合於一層或多層熱塑性材料至少其中之一。
滑片層典型上為片材之長形撓性腹板,具有一般恒常的寬度,通常由布形成,無論是天然材料,像棉,或是合成材料,諸如聚酯或尼龍。滑片層的較低摩擦係數,可使扶手在導件上滑動。滑片層寬度視扶手尺寸而定,可例如為125至60mm寬。
此等複合扶手可有一般均勻截面,在電扶梯等之驅動機械內,可實施呈無端環圈。因為均勻截面,壓出製法引人矚目,鑑於變通性,即分批式製法,傾向勞工密集式,且生產率相當有限。熱塑性扶手的壓出方法和裝置例,載於本申請人2007年9月10日提出的美國專利暫時申請案60/971,152號〈熱塑性扶手之壓出方法和裝置〉,以及2008年9月10日提出的相對應PCT申請案,公告號碼WO 2009/033270,二者全文內容均於此列入參考。
惟滑片層在壓出製造過程中,會發生一些問題。須知此項重點是,本發明人等發現滑片層對壓出式扶手的總體彎曲模數或剛性大有貢獻,見本申請人2007年9月10日提出之美國暫時申請案60/971,163號〈改進扶手〉,以及2008年9月10日提出的相對應PCT申請案,公告號碼WO 2009/033272,二者全文內容均於此列入參考。
滑片層之處置,經提升溫度,造成滑片層物理性能之不良改變。例如,在與模具高溫關聯之失控拉力下,把滑片拉經壓出模頭,會造成滑片之重大拉伸,尤其是在縱向。因此,本發明人等發現滑片層在壓出之前,宜進行預處理。
在本說明書之一要旨中,滑片層之預處理包含把滑片層提升溫度,以特別停留時間加以控制乾式加熱。典型上無論是天然或合成布之滑片層,在基層纖維和織物因製造過程中遺留的應力而受熱時,即會收縮。此等應力可藉「加熱定型」或「預收縮」步驟之預處理解除,不論是以分批式過程,或最好在壓出前的線上製程。滑片層之預處理,是令該層例如在進入壓出模頭之前,於加熱板間以預定速率通過而完成。滑片層之其他適當加熱機構,凡精於此道之士均輕易明白。
須知未以此方式預處理之滑片層,在拉力方面會呈現若干有限的效能,尤其是複合壓力式扶手在逆向驅動機制或類似情形彎回時。進行預處理的滑片層容許該層在拉力中有較大的拉伸。又,發現以此方式預處理,在滑片層與包括扶手的一或以上熱塑性材料層之間,促進更大的粘著和結合。
然而,本發明人等已決定,即使經預處理步驟,仍然會發生重大拉伸,源自壓出模頭內之高溫和壓力,和/或在預處理過程的處置當中,以及輸送到壓出模頭時,發生滑片層之拉力。針對此點,本說明書另一要旨提供滑片層進料中消弭或減少拉力之機構。本說明又一要旨,在預處理和壓出模頭之間,提供冷卻區。本說明又一要旨,提供減少壓出模頭和滑片層間之熱傳送。此等要旨各詳述於下。
參見第1圖,表示預處理裝置10之例。滑片層源12位於裝置10末端,提供滑片層14進料。
如圖所示,第一控制進料器16位於滑片層源12和加熱模組18之間,第一控制進料器16用來把滑片層14以很少或根本無拉力,輸送至加熱模組18,確保可能最大之收縮。
加熱模組18由串聯配置的複數加熱板20組成。板20可例如為鋁板,頂部和底部各帶有600W匧式加熱器,各板維度10"×10"×0.75"。相隔0.25"可配置十組板20。各加熱板20可操作以維持預定之提升溫度,並可分成個別區,以維持分別溫度。此舉增加熱控制和製程準確度,可減少因加熱器故障引起之錯誤機會。
第二控制進料器22可位於加熱模組18和壓出模頭24之間。須知加熱模組18離開壓出模頭24一段距離26,即為冷卻區,使滑片層在進入壓出模頭24之前,有時間冷卻到室溫。第二控制進料器用來把滑片層14以很少或無拉力,輸送至壓出模頭24,防止任何不良的拉伸。滑片層14和其他扶手組件(圖上未示)在壓出模頭內組合,以壓出物28出現。
參見第2圖,第一控制進料器16包括支架30、對立之輥子32、馬達34、受控制之環圈36,和感測器38。同理,如第3圖所示,第二控制進料器22包括支架40、對立之輥子42、馬達44、受控制之環圈46,和感測器48。
控制進料器16,22用來實質上減少或消除在壓出製程前的預處理當中,對滑片層14之拉力。滑片層14形成非接觸之滑片環圈36,46,利用感測器38,48維持,基於速度和滑片層14的需要,提供反饋給馬達34,44。此項設置確保在加熱模組18和/或壓出模頭24進口之前,有實質上無拉力環圈。控制進料器16,12的作用在於減少或消除滑片層14內之任何拉力或應力,其重要性乃因通過熱模組件時,有任何小小的拉力或應力,都會造成拉伸,致使不良之剛性或硬性扶手。
控制進料器16,22在距離基礎的環圈上操作。馬達34,44(例如DC變速馬達),可以電腦控制(圖上未示),根據壓出生產線的需要,把滑片層14向前進料。感測器38,48利用PLC程式規劃,可例如為光學或雷射感測器。感測器38,48認知滑片層14,藉提供反饋給馬達34,44,維持距離D。從而維持環圈以代替直線(如圖所示),意即滑片層14在加熱模組18和/或壓出模頭24進口,實質上無拉力。
本發明人等認知,發生於滑片層14的拉伸之實質部份,係肇因於壓出模頭24之高溫。由於減少滑片層14之變化或拉伸,因而保持彈性模數不變,尤其是在縱向,則需提供機構以減少壓出模頭24和滑片層14間之熱傳送。此舉可以至少二方式達成:(i)取消與滑片層14接觸的壓出模頭24底部之加熱器,和(ii)在與滑片層14直接接觸的壓出模頭24底部,引進水冷式嵌件。
進行測試以研究不同的預處理條件對滑片層之效應。滑片層在此情況下為紡製之聚酯布,具有紋織,寬140mm,厚0.80-0.90mm,布重508±28g/m2
。類似之滑片樣品標誌50×50mm方形,以不同條件通過加熱模組(在160-180℃,長度1.8m)。然後,在經、緯方向測量各方形,把數值合計。結果如第5圖所示。此項實驗確認較長停留時間和較高溫度會增加滑片層之收縮。下線表示布速2m/min的結果,上線則為布速3m/min的結果,即停留時間減三分之一。
又以壓出之扶手進行測試,其滑片層有三個預處理溫度,即160、185和205℃,其預處理包含控制進料器,另滑片層預處理溫度160℃,不用控制進料器。(加熱模組長度1.8m)。滑片層模數ASTM D-412在50.00mm/min測定。結果如第6圖所示。由圖上可見較高預處理溫度導致扶手的拉應力值降低。控制進料器之效果亦加以圖示。此等測試結果,建議提高溫度,增加加熱模組的長度(但須知若溫度太高,滑片層會變脆)。
進行進一步測試,檢驗影響滑片層預處理之變數。結果綜列於下表1。A代表預處理的樣品,使用較短之加熱模數,冷卻區有限,預處理出口和壓出模相隔200mm。B代表預處理的樣品,有較長之加熱模組,預處理出口和壓出模進口間有1.25m,致使在室溫的停留時間大約50秒,確保滑片冷卻到大約40℃。觀察B樣品顯示收縮大約2至4%,對A樣品則觀察到6至8%拉伸。總之,B狀況視為充分適於特殊滑片層(紡製聚酯布)。
須知前述預處理參數只供舉例,針對選用的特殊滑片材料、特殊之壓出法,和特殊造型之壓出式複合扶手產品加以說明。不同的預處理參數適合不同的材料、壓出法和扶手造型,均為精於此道之士所易知。
凡精於此道之士均知,此處所述一或以上具體例可有其他變化例,可以實施,不悖本發明在此所請求之申請專利範圍。

Claims (33)
- 一種扶手的滑片層之乾式預處理方法,包括:(a)把滑片層輸送通過加熱模組;(b)在加熱模組內維持滑片層在提升溫度停留一段時間;和(c)從加熱模組排放出滑片層者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,又包括維持至少一部份滑片層,呈實質上無拉力環圈者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,又包括把滑片層從加熱模組在控制下輸送到壓出模頭,供壓出扶手者。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之方法,又包括提供滑片層源,並使用第一控制進料器,把滑片層之至少第一部份,從滑片層源輸送到加熱模組,同時維持滑片層之第一部份呈實質上無拉力環圈者。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之方法,又包括使用第二控制進料器,把滑片層的第二部份,從加熱模組輸送至壓出模頭,同時維持滑片層之第二部份呈實質上無拉力環圈者。
- 如申請專利範圍第5項之方法,又包括把壓出模頭定位在隔離加熱模組,使滑片層得以冷卻者。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項之方法,又包括減少從壓出模頭至滑片層之熱傳送者。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項之方法,其中從壓出模頭至滑片層之熱傳送,是在壓出模頭與滑片層接觸之部份,提供冷卻嵌件而減少者。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項之方法,其中冷卻嵌件係水冷式者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中加熱模組包括串聯配置之複數加熱板者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中滑片層係由編織材 料形成者。
- 如申請專利範圍第11項之方法,其中編織材料係聚酯布或棉布者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中提升溫度和停留時間,足以造成滑片層之收縮者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中提升溫度係150至250℃者。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項之方法,其中加熱模組包括複數加熱板,彼此面對隔開者。
- 一種扶手的滑片層之乾式預處理方法,包括:(a)令滑片層經提升溫度停留一段時間,造成滑片層收縮;(b)把滑片層供應至模頭,供壓出於扶手內;(c)於滑片層受到提升溫度和滑片層供應至模頭之際,維持滑片層實質上無拉力者。
- 如申請專利範圍第16項之方法,包含提供至少一無拉力環圈於提升溫度步驟上游之滑片層,並提供至少一無拉力環圈於提升溫度步驟以後和模頭以前之滑片層者。
- 如申請專利範圍第17項之方法,其中提升溫度步驟包括令滑片層在彼此面對隔開之複數加熱板間通過者。
- 一種扶手的滑片層之乾式預處理方法,包括:(a)令滑片層經提升溫度停留一段時間,對滑片層預處理;(b)讓滑片層冷卻;(c)滑片層冷卻後,把滑片層供應至扶手壓出器之模頭者。
- 如申請專利範圍第19項之方法,其中步驟(a)包括令滑片層通過加熱模組者。
- 如申請專利範圍第20項之方法,包括提供冷卻嵌件於 模頭內,供冷卻滑片層者。
- 如申請專利範圍第21項之方法,其中冷卻嵌件係水冷式者。
- 一種壓出式扶手的滑片層之預處理裝置,包括:(a)滑片層源;(b)加熱模組,維持滑片層於提升溫度;(c)輸送裝置,把滑片層源輸送至加熱模組,並從加熱模組排出滑片層;以及(d)至少一控制進料器,在滑片層輸送通過加熱模組時,維持滑片層有部份呈實質上無拉力環圈者。
- 如申請專利範圍第23項之裝置,其中至少一控制進料器包括第一控制進料器,位於滑片層源和加熱模組之間,第一控制進料器供維持滑片層之第一部份呈實質上無拉力環圈,從滑片層源輸送至加熱模組者。
- 如申請專利範圍第23或24項之任一項裝置,又包括輸送裝置,把滑片層從加熱模組輸送至加熱模頭者。
- 如申請專利範圍第23或24項之裝置,其中至少一控制進料器包括第二控制進料器,位於加熱模組和壓出模頭之間,第二控制進料器供維持滑片層之第二部份呈實質上無拉力環圈,從加熱模組輸送至壓出模頭者。
- 如申請專利範圍第26項之裝置,又包括冷卻區,於壓出模頭和加熱模組之間者。
- 如申請專利範圍第23項之裝置,其中壓出模頭包括冷卻嵌件,以降低滑片層之溫度者。
- 如申請專利範圍第28項之裝置,其中冷卻嵌件係水冷式者。
- 如申請專利範圍第23項之裝置,其中加熱模組包括串聯配置之複數加熱板者。
- 一種壓出式扶手的滑片層在預處理當中之運動控制裝 置,包括:(a)進料機構,控制滑片層之運動;和(b)至少一感測器,供監測滑片層之拉力,並提供反饋至進料機構,維持一部份之滑片層呈實質上無拉力環圈者。
- 如申請專利範圍第31項之裝置,其中進料機構包括馬達,和至少一對相對立之輥子者。
- 如申請專利範圍第31或32項之裝置,其中感測器包括光學或雷射感測器者。
