Способ по п.1, включающий добавление воды к реакционной смеси и осаждение BMPD.5. Способ по п.1, включающий растворение осажденного BMPD и экстракцию водой.6. Способ по п.5, включающий образование композиции BMPD, содержащей более 98 мас.% BMPD.7. Claims (10)

1. Способ, включающий:
взаимодействие в реакционных условиях 5-трет-бутил-3-метилкатехина (ВМС) с соединением, выбранным из группы, состоящей из ароматической карбоновой кислоты и производного ароматической карбоновой кислоты; и
образование 5-трет-бутил-3-метил-1,2-фенилен дибензоата (BMPD).
2. Способ по п.1, включающий очистку BMPD и образование композиции BMPD, содержащей более 98% BMPD.
3. Способ по п.1, включающий добавление бензоилхлорида к реакционной смеси, содержащей ВМС, ацетонитрил и триэтиламин и образование BMPD.
4. Способ по п.1, включающий добавление воды к реакционной смеси и осаждение BMPD.
5. Способ по п.1, включающий растворение осажденного BMPD и экстракцию водой.
6. Способ по п.5, включающий образование композиции BMPD, содержащей более 98 мас.% BMPD.
7. Способ по п.1, включающий:
алкилирование в реакционных условиях 3-метилкатехина соединением, выбранным из группы, состоящей из трет-бутанола и изобутилена; и
образование 5-трет-бутил-3-метилкатехина.
8. Способ по п.1, включающий:
окисление в реакционных условиях 5-трет-бутил-3-метил-2-гидроксибензальдегида; и
образование 5-трет-бутил-3-метилкатехина.
9. Способ по п.1, включающий:
окисление в реакционных условиях 4-трет-бутил-2-метилфенола; и
образование 5-трет-бутил-3-метилкатехина.
10. Способ по п.1, включающий:
гидролиз в реакционных условиях 2-галоген-4-трет-бутил-6-метилфенола; и
образование 5-трет-бутил-3-метилкатехина.
