Abstract
Description
본 발명의 특히 양호한 촉매는 기부 금속 언더코트의 상단부에 배치된 제1 및 제2 촉매층을 갖는 층을 갖는 합성물이다. 도2에 도시된 촉매의 채널(20)에서 알 수 있는 바와 같이, 이러한 촉매는 캐리어 벽(21), 양호하게는 모놀리스 캐리어에 부착된 기부 금속 언더코트(22)와 (캐리어 벽에 대향된) 기부 금속 언더코트에 부착되고 그의 상단부에 있는 제1층(23)과, 제1층의 아래에 있고 이에 부착되는 제2층(24)을 포함한다. 이러한 양호한 촉매는 폐쇄 결합 위치, 또는 선택적으로 저면 위치에 위치될 수 있다.

Claims (42)
- 촉매, 상류 EGO 센서 및 하류 EGO 센서를 포함하는 배기 장치로서, 상기 촉매는 캐리어와, 산소 흡장 용량을 제공하는 농도를 갖는 산소 흡장 성분을 포함하여 상기 캐리어에 배치된 이산 기질 금속 언더코트와, 상기 캐리어에 대향하여 상기 기질 금속 언더코트에 배치되고 백금 그룹 금속 성분과 지지체를 포함하는 하나 이상의 개별적인 촉매층을 구비하는, 배기 장치에 있어서,상기 이산 기질 금속 언더코트는, 백금 그룹 금속 성분을 전혀 포함하지 않거나 불순물로서 또는 극소량으로서 미소량의 백금 금속 성분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매에 이르는 배기 출구를 갖는 가솔린 엔진을 더 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산소 흡장 성분은 산화 세륨, 프라세오디뮴 및 이들의 합성물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기질 금속 언더코트는 지르코늄 성분, 니켈 성분 및 철 성분으로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 성분을 더 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 상기 기질 금속 언더코트의 상부 상에 2개 이상의 촉매층을 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 2개 이상의 촉매 구역을 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 하류 EGO 센서는 상기 촉매 구역들 사이에 위치하는 배기 장치.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기질 금속 언더코트는 언더코트 세리아-지르코니아 합성물과 언더코트 지지체를 포함하며,상기 촉매는,캐리어에 대향하여 기질 금속 언더코트 상에 배치되며 백금 성분과 제1 지지체를 포함하는 제1 층과,상기 기질 금속 언더코트에 대향하여 제1 층에 배치되며 로듐 성분과 제2 지지체를 포함하는 제2 층을 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 저면 위치에 위치하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 폐쇄 결합 위치에 위치하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기질 금속 언더코트는 세리아-지르코니아 합성물과 언더코트 금속 지지체를 포함하며,상기 촉매는,상기 캐리어에 대향하여 기질 금속 언더코트 상에 배치되고, 제1 상류 백금 성분, 제1 상류 팔라듐 성분 및 제1 상류 지지체를 포함하는 제1 상류 구역과,상기 제1 상류 구역에 인접하게 상기 캐리어에 대향하여 기질 금속 언더코트 상에 배치되며, 제1 하류 백금 성분과 제1 하류 지지체를 포함하는 제1 하류 구역과,상기 기질 금속 언더코트에 대향하여 상기 제1 상류 구역 상에 배치되며, 제2 상류 백금 성분, 제2 상류 팔라듐 성분, 제2 상류 로듐 성분 및 제2 상류 지지체를 포함하는 제2 상류 구역과,상기 제2 상류 구역에 인접하게 상기 기질 금속 언더코트에 대향하여 제1 하류 구역 상에 배치되며, 제2 하류 로듐 성분 및 제2 하류 지지체를 포함하는 제2 하류 구역을 포함하는 배기 장치.
- 제1항에 따른 배기 장치를 제공하기 위한 방법이며,산소 흡장 용량을 제공하는 기질 금속 워시코트 조성물 내의 산소 흡장 성분의 농도를 결정하는 단계와,기질 금속 워시코트 조성물로 캐리어를 코팅하여 기질 금속 언더코트를 형성하는 단계와,하나 이상의 촉매 워시코트 조성물로 기질 금속 언더코트를 코팅하여 하나 이상의 촉매층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 배기 장치 제공 방법.
- 캐리어와, 산소 흡장 성분을 포함하여 상기 캐리어에 배치되며 백금 그룹 금속 성분을 전혀 포함하지 않거나 불순물로서 또는 극소량으로서 미소량의 백금 금속 성분을 포함하는 기질 금속 언더코트와, 상기 기질 금속 언더코트에 배치된 하나 이상의 개별적인 촉매층을 포함하는 촉매와; 상류 HEGO 센서와; 하류 HEGO 센서를 포함하는 배기 장치의 산소 흡장 용량을 감시하는 방법이며,미연소 탄화수소, 산화질소, 산소 및 일산화탄소를 포함하는 배기가스를 배기 장치를 통해 통과시키는 단계와,상류 HEGO 센서와 하류 HEGO 센서 각각에 대한 전압 변화 빈도를 기록하는 단계와,기록된 빈도를 비교하는 단계와,기록된 빈도가 미리 정해진 비율에 도달할 때 장애 신호를 보내는 단계를 포함하는 배기 장치의 산소 흡장 용량 감시 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 미리 정해진 비율은 촉매의 TWC 성능과 상호 관련되는 배기 장치의 산소 흡장 용량 감시 방법.
