Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.静止画像に対応する画像信号のディジタル処理及び処理された画像信号のデ ィジタル記憶装置(24)における記憶を使用しており、画像の画素に対応する ホトサイトの配列を有するイメージセンサ(12)、前記のイメージセンサを画 像光に露光させてアナログ画像情報がそれぞれのホトサイトに生成されるように するための装置(10)、及びアナログ画像情報を所定の写真解像度に対応する ディジタル画像信号に変換するための装置(16)を備えている電子式静止画像 化装置であって、前記のディジタル画像信号に応答して前記の所定の解像度より 低い写真解像度に対応する減小解像度画像信号を発生することのできる処理装置 (22)、静止画像の複数の解像度を表現している画像ファイルであって前記の ディジタル画像信号及び前記の減小解像度画像信号を含んでいる多形式画像ファ イル(図2A、2B)を生成するための装置(40)、並びに前記のディジタル 記憶装置に前記の画像ファイルを記憶するための装置(22、26)、 によって特徴づけられている前記の電子式静止画像化装置。 2.表示画像を生成するための装置(116)、記憶された画像ファイルを復号 化して前記のディジタル画像信号及び前記の減小解像度画像信号にするための装 置(102)、並びに前記の画像ファイルからの前記の減小解像度画像信号を前 記の表示装置(116)、に加えて静止画像の低解像度表示を生成するための装 置(104)、を更に備えている、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 3.前記の減小解像度画像信号が画像の局所的区域についてのディジタル画像信 号を平均化することによって生成される、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 4.前記のディジダル画像信号を圧縮するための装置(図1B)を更に備えてお り、且つ前記のファイル生成装置(40)が圧縮画像信号及び減小解像度画像信 号から多形式画像ファイルを形成する、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 5.前記の圧縮装置がディジタル画像信号のブロックについて動作して前記のブ ロックに関する平均値を生成し、且つ前記の減小解像度画像信号が前記の圧縮装 置により生成された前記の平均値から生成される、請求項4に記載の画像化装置 。 6,前記の圧縮装置がディジタル画像信号を複数の段において圧縮し、その一つ の段(33)がディジタル画像信号のブロックについての離散的余弦変換の機能 を備えており且つ別の段(38)が変換された画像信号の最小冗長度符号化を備 えている、請求項4に記載の画像化装置。 7.前記の減小解像度画像信号が離散的余弦変換の直流分から生成される、請求 項6に記載の画像化装置。 8.前記の減小解像度画像信号がディジタル画像信号を副標本化することによっ て生成される、請求項1に記載の装置。 9.前記のセンサ(12)が複数の静止画像に順次露光させられ、従って前記の ディジタル画像信号及び前記の減小解像度画像信号が前記の複数の画像に対応し ており、前記のファイル生成装置(40)が各静止画像に対する別別の多形式画 像ファイルをディジタル画像信号及びそれに対応する減小解像度信号から生成し 、且つ前記の記憶装置(22、26)が前記の複数の画像ファイルを前記のディ ジタル記憶装置(24)に記憶する、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 10.前記の減小解像度信号が多形式画像ファイルにおける固定位置に割り当て られる、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 11.画素のブロックに対応するディジタル画像信号を記憶するための画像バッ ファ(18)を更に備えており、且つ前記の処理装置(22)が、記憶されたデ ィジタル画像信号のブロックを変換係数信号の対応する集合に変換するための且 つ変換係数信号を符号化して圧縮信号の流れにするためのディジタル処理装置で あって、且つ又前記の記憶されたディジタル画像信号に応答して各画像の減小解 像度版に対応する減小解像度画像信号を生成することのできる前記のディジタル 処理装置。 を備えている、請求項1に記載の画像化装置。 12.減小解像度画像信号が各ブロック内の画像信号の平均値から生成される、 請求項11に記載の画像化装置。 13.画像信号の平均値が変換係数信号から導出される、請求項12に記載の画 像化装置。 14.前記のディジタル記憶装置(24)に記憶された画像ファイルをアクセス するための装置(102)、及び アクセスされた画像ファイルについて動作して前記の減小解像度画像信号から減 小解像度画像表示を生成するための再生装置(104、112、114、116 )、を更に備えている、請求項11に記載の画像化装置。 15.前記の再生装置が、 アクセスされた画像ファイルについて動作するための且つ圧縮信号を伸長して圧 縮除去信号にするための装置(106)、減小解像度画像信号と圧縮画像信号と の間で選択を行うための装置(104)、及び 選択された信号を表示するための装置(116)、を備えている、請求項14に 記載の画像化装置。
