Claims (20)
- 電子デバイスであって、
ディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイが内部に装着される筐体であって、前記ディスプレイの少なくとも一部を受容する凹部を有するガラス構造体を含む、前記筐体と、を備え、
前記ガラス構造体は、周辺ガラス部材に融着された平面ガラス部材を含み、前記周辺ガラス部材と前記平面ガラス部材との間の接合線は、見えないか、又はほとんど見えず、該周辺ガラス部材は、前記平面ガラス部材の少なくとも一部の周辺縁部の周囲に延在し、前記凹部を形成する、電子デバイス。 - 前記周辺ガラス部材が不透明ガラスを含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記平面ガラス部材が面法線を特徴とし、前記周辺ガラス部材が、前記面法線に対してゼロではない角度で傾斜した内側縁部を有する、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記周辺ガラス部材が、曲面を有する内側縁部を有する、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記周辺ガラス部材が内側縁部を有し、前記電子デバイスが、前記内側縁部の少なくとも一部をコーティングする不透明マスキング材料を更に備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記平面ガラス部材及び周辺ガラス部材が、前記筐体のための丸みのある縁部を形成する、曲線状の部分を有する、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記筐体は、前記ガラス構造体が装着される筐体構造体を含み、前記電子デバイスが、前記筐体構造体と前記ガラス構造体との間に装着される内部電気構成要素を更に備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記ガラス構造体が曲線状内面を有し、前記ディスプレイがフレキシブルディスプレイを含み、前記フレキシブルディスプレイが前記曲線状内面に取り付けられる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
間隙によって分離されている、少なくとも第1及び第2の向かい合う平面ガラス部材を含む融着ガラス部材から形成され、前記融着ガラス部材の接合線は見えないか、又はほとんど見えない、電子デバイス筐体と、
前記間隙内に挿入されるディスプレイ構造体と、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記電子デバイス筐体が透明部分を含み、該透明部分を通して前記ディスプレイ構造体が見える、請求項9に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記間隙によって分離されている、向かい合う第3及び第4の平面ガラス部材を更に含む、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1の平面ガラス部材上に、融着ガラスリブ支持構造体を更に備える、請求項9〜11のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
開口部を有する少なくとも1つのガラス筐体部材を有し、かつ
前記開口部を取り囲み、前記ガラス筐体部材に融着した、隆起ガラス構造体を有する、ガラス筐体構造体を備え、前記隆起ガラス構造体と前記ガラス筐体構造体との間の接合線は見えないか、又はほとんど見えない、電子デバイス。 - 前記隆起ガラス構造体を照明するように構成された光源を更に備える、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記ガラス筐体部材の下に装着されるディスプレイを更に備える、請求項13〜14のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスの形成方法であって、
平面ガラス部材を研磨することと、
前記平面ガラス部材の縁部の少なくとも一部に、前記縁部において前記平面ガラス部材を厚くするために、周辺ガラス部材と前記平面ガラス部材とを加熱して融着させることと、
前記平面ガラス部材及び融着した周辺ガラス部材を筐体構造体に取り付けることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記筐体構造体が、ガラス筐体構造体、プラスチック筐体構造体、及び金属筐体構造体からなる群から選択される筐体構造体を含み、前記平面ガラス部材及び融着した周辺ガラス部材を前記筐体構造体に取り付けることが、前記電子デバイスの電子構成要素を包含する内部を有する筐体を形成することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記平面ガラス部材及び前記融着した周辺ガラス部材を化学強化することを更に含む、請求項16又は17に記載の方法。
- 前記平面ガラス部材及び前記融着した周辺ガラス部材を化学強化する前に、前記平面ガラス部材上に丸みのある縁部表面を形成することを更に含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記平面ガラス部材がT1の厚さを有し、前記ガラス構造体がT2の厚さを有し、前記T1の厚さは前記T2の厚さよりも小さい、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
