Abstract

[課題]硬度が高く、耐摩耗性に優れ、長期間携帯しても傷の入りにくく、かつ反射防止機能が維持できる時計用カバーガラスを提供することにある。 [解決手段]本発明の時計用カバーガラスは、透明基材の少なくとも片方の面にSiO2とSi3N4との混成膜(以下SiON膜と呼ぶ)とSi3N4膜との積層構造反射防止膜を備えた時計用カバーガラスであって、最表面層にSiON膜を形成されていることを特徴とする。これにより、良好な反射防止効果を得られると同時に反射防止膜の硬度が上昇し、耐摩耗性が著しく上昇する。その結果、長期間携帯しても反射防止膜が表面に細かい傷が入らず、剥離せず、表面が曇って指針や文字板が見えにくくなる等の問題が発生しない、かつ反射防止機能が維持された時計用カバーガラスを提供される。
