Claims (12)
- 第1の出光面(18a)を有する無機発光素子(14)と、第1の出光面(18a)より大きい第2の出光面(16)を有する有機発光素子(12)とを備える照明装置であって、
無機発光素子(14a)および有機発光素子(12)は、無機発光素子(14a)の光と有機発光素子(12)の光とが相互に重なった平面光出力が得られるように配設されるとともに、それぞれの光を同じ放射方向(22a,20)に放射し、かつ第1の出光面(18a)が、放射方向(22a,20)に沿った投影図において、第2の出光面(16)に埋設されるように、配設され、
有機発光素子(12)が、透明部(26a)を備え、
透明部(26a)が、有機発光素子(12)の非透明背面電極(94)における開口により形成される、照明装置。 - 無機発光素子(14a)が、その光を、前記透明部(26a)を介して放射するよう配設される、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)の光の立体角放射分布(32)よりも、有機発光素子(12)の光の立体角放射分布(40)に対する影響が小さい光学層(30)が、放射方向(22a,20)において、有機発光素子(12)および無機発光素子(14a)の下流に配設される、請求項1または請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 光学層(30)が、拡散体層、無機発光素子のある位置に局所的な開口部を備える透明層、または横方向に変化する表面レリーフ構造を備える透明層である、請求項3に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)が、有機発光素子(12)に装着される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- いくつかの無機発光素子(14a)が設けられる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)が、第2の出光面(16)にわたって横方向に分布する平面的に規則的な配列にされる、請求項6に記載の照明装置。

無機発光素子(14a)の光の立体角放射分布(32)よりも、有機発光素子(12)の光の立体角放射分布(40)に対する影響が小さい光学層(30)が、放射方向(22a,20)において、有機発光素子(12)および無機発光素子(14a)の下流に配設される、照明装置。 - 光学層は、無機発光素子の光の立体角放射分布の立体角セントロイドが有機発光素子の光の立体角放射分布に比べてより多く曲折される程度に無機発光素子の光の立体角放射分布に影響する、請求項10に記載の照明装置。
