Abstract
【解決手段】第1の出光面18aを有する無機発光素子14と、第1の出光面より大きい第2の出光面16を有する有機発光素子12とを備える照明装置であって、無機発光素子および有機発光素子は、無機発光素子の光と有機発光素子の光とが相互に重なった平面光出力が得られるように配設される照明装置とする。無機発光素子および有機発光素子は、それぞれの光を同じ放射方向に放射し、かつ第1の出光面が、放射方向に沿った投影図において、第2の出光面に埋設されるように配設される。

Claims (17)
- 第1の出光面(18a)を有する無機発光素子(14)と、第1の出光面(18a)より大きい第2の出光面(16)を有する有機発光素子(12)とを備える照明装置であって、無機発光素子(14a)および有機発光素子(12)は、無機発光素子(14a)の光と有機発光素子(12)の光とが相互に重なった平面光出力が得られるように配設される、照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)および有機発光素子(12)は、それぞれの光を同じ放射方向(22a,20)に放射し、かつ第1の出光面(18a)が、放射方向(22a,20)に沿った投影図において、第2の出光面(16)に埋設されるように、配設される、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 有機発光素子(12)が、無機発光素子(14a)の光に対して透明になるよう形成され、かつ無機発光素子(14a)が、放射方向(22a、20)において、有機発光素子(12)の前方に配設される、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 有機発光素子(12)が、透明部(26a)を備え、かつ無機発光素子(14a)が、その光を、該透明部(26a)を介して放射するよう配設される、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 透明部(26a)が、有機発光素子(12)の非透明背面電極(94)における開口により形成される、請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)の光の立体角放射分布(32)よりも、有機発光素子(12)の光の立体角放射分布(40)に対する影響が小さい光学層(30)が、放射方向(22a,20)において、有機発光素子(12)および無機発光素子(14a)の後ろに配設される、請求項2から5のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 光学層(30)が、拡散体層、無機発光素子のある位置に局所的な開口部を備える透明層、または横方向に変化する表面レリーフ構造を備える透明層である、請求項6に記載の照明装置。
- 光学層(70)が、有機発光素子(12)の放射方向(20)において、有機発光素子(12)の後ろに配設され、かつ無機発光素子(18a)が、その光が光学層(70)内へ横方向に放射されるように配設され、光学層(70)が、有機光学素子(12)の光および無機光学素子(14a)の光の両方が、光学層(70)の有機発光素子(12)から離れる側(74)の光出口へ至るよう形成される、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 有機発光素子(12)が、放射方向(20)と反対の方向にもその光を放射するよう形成され、かつ光学層(70)が、無機発光素子(14a)の光も、光学層(70)の有機発光素子(12)に面する側の光出口へ至るよう形成される、請求項8に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)が、有機発光素子(12)に装着される、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- いくつかの無機発光素子(14a)が設けられる、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)が、第2の出光面(16)にわたって横方向に分布する平面的に規則的な配列にされる、請求項11に記載の照明装置。
- 無機発光素子(14a)が、半導体LEDである、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
- 有機発光素子(12)がOLEDである、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。

- 無機発光素子が、ブレーキライトおよび/またはインジケータとして機能する、請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置を備える自動車のテールランプ。
- 第1の出光面(18a)を有する無機発光素子(14a)により光を生成し、かつ第1の出光面(18a)より大きい第2の出光面(16)を有する有機発光素子(12)により光を生成することにより平面光出力を得る方法であって、それにより、無機発光素子(14a)の光と有機発光素子(12)の光とが、得られた平面光出力において、相互に重なるようになっている、方法。
