Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年7月1日に出願された米国特許出願第14/789,178号、2015年7月28日に出願された同第14/810,741号;2015年6月30日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/186,479号、2015年6月19日に出願された同第62/182,076号、2014年9月8日に出願された同第62/047,283号、及び2014年9月8日に出願された同第62/047,328号の優先権を主張し、それらの内容全体を参照によって本願明細書に引用したものとする。
BI=(f(M1−M2)+f(M2−M1))/(2XM1(1−XM2))

Claims (41)
- i)約2重量%〜約98重量%の第1のモノマーと;
ii)約2重量%〜約98重量%の第2のモノマーと;
を含む、共重合体であって、
該第1のモノマーは、1つ以上の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーである、前記共重合体。 - 前記第1のモノマーが、前記第1のモノマーのホモポリマーが約25℃以上(好ましくは約35℃以上、及びより好ましくは約50℃以上)のTgを有して重合することができるような構造を有する、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、前記第2のモノマーのホモポリマーが約15℃以下のTgを有するような構造を有する、請求項2に記載の共重合体。
- 前記第1のモノマーが、前記共重合体の総重量に基づいて、約20重量%以上(例えば、約30、40、または50重量%以上)の濃度で存在する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、前記共重合体の総重量に基づいて、約20重量%以上の濃度で存在する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第1のモノマーが、第1の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーであり、前記第2のモノマーが、前記第1のモノマーとは異なる第2の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーである、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第1のモノマー及び前記第2のモノマーの総濃度が、前記共重合体の総重量に基づいて、約30重量%以上(例えば、約50、70、80、90、または95重量%以上)である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、前記第1のモノマー及び前記第2のモノマーとは異なる1つ以上のさらなるモノマーを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第1のモノマーが、メチレンマロン酸ジエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェンキルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェンキルエチル、メチレンマロン酸メンチルエチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジシクロヘキシル、メチレンマロン酸シクロヘキシルエチル、メチレンマロン酸イソボルニルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ベンジルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ベンジルメチル、メチレンマロン酸ジベンジル、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、メチレンマロン酸メチルメトキシエチル、メチレンマロン酸エチルエトキシエチル、メチレンマロン酸ヘキシルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジブチル、メチレンマロン酸ジヘキシル、メチレンマロン酸ヘキシルエチル、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、第2のポリマーブロックに付着した第1のポリマーブロックを含むブロック共重合体であり、該第1のポリマーブロックが、前記第1のモノマーを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、単一のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項11に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、2つ以上のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項11に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約25℃〜約250℃(例えば、約50℃〜約200℃)の第1のガラス転移温度を有する(例えば、前記第1のポリマーブロックが、第1のガラス転移温度を有する)、請求項11〜13のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約−100℃〜約15℃(例えば、約−80℃〜約0℃)のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項11または12に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約−100℃〜約15℃(例えば、約−80℃〜約0℃)の第2のガラス転移温度を有する(例えば、前記第2のポリマーブロックは、第2のガラス転移温度を有する)、請求項14に記載の共重合体。
- 前記第1のポリマーブロックが、メチレンマロン酸ジエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェンキルメチル、メチレンマロン酸フェンキルエチル、メチレンマロン酸メンチルエチル、メチレンマロン酸フェニルプロピルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジシクロヘキシル、メチレンマロン酸シクロヘキシルエチル、メチレンマロン酸イソボルニルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ベンジルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ベンジルメチル、メチレンマロン酸ジベンジル、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される1つ以上のモノマーの約50重量%以上を含む、請求項11〜16のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のポリマーブロックが、メチレンマロン酸メチルメトキシエチル、メチレンマロン酸エチルエトキシエチル、メチレンマロン酸ヘキシルエチル、メチレンマロン酸ジブチル、メチレンマロン酸ジヘキシル、メチレンマロン酸ヘキシルエチル、及びそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される1つ以上のモノマーの約50重量%以上を含む、請求項11〜17のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、3つ以上のポリマーブロックを含む、請求項11〜18のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、ジブロック共重合体、またはA−B−AもしくはA−B−Cの構造を有するトリブロック共重合体であり、A、B、及びCが、異なるブロックであり、各々が、異なる濃度で異なるモノマーまたは1つのモノマーを有する、請求項11〜19のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、ランダム共重合体である、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約0.6以上のブロック状化指数を有する、請求項21に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約1以下のブロック状化指数を有する、請求項21または22に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、単一のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項21〜23のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、1つ以上の長鎖分岐(例えば、3以上のアームを有する星型ポリマー)を有する、請求項1〜24のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、5以上のアームを有する、請求項1〜25のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、1つ以上の多官能性モノマーを含む、請求項1〜26いずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、多官能性求核試薬を用いて重合される、請求項1〜27のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体中の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーの総量が、前記共重合体の総重量に基づいて、約98重量%〜約100重量%である、請求項1〜28のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、約25重量%以上の前記第1のモノマー及び約25重量%以上の前記第2のモノマーを含む、請求項1〜30のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 約50重量%以上の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーを含むポリマーであって、
該ポリマーは、長鎖分岐を有し、該ポリマーは、以下の特徴:
i)約3以下(例えば、約2.3以下、約1.9以下、または約1.5以下)の多分散性;または
ii)約50,000以上の重量平均分子量;または
iii)固体粒子の形態
の1つまたは任意の組み合わせを有する、前記ポリマー。 - 前記ポリマーが、3以上(例えば、5以上のアーム)を有する星型ポリマーである請求項31に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、直鎖状の主鎖を有し、前記長鎖分岐が該主鎖に沿って分散している、請求項31に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、約0.002重量%〜約2重量%の多官能性モノマーを含む、請求項31〜33のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、98重量%以上の前記1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーを含むホモポリマーである、請求項31〜34のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、約2重量%以上の第2のモノマーを含む共重合体である、請求項31〜34のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーではない、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、1つ以上のアクリレート類、1つ以上のメタクリレート類、スチレン、ブタジエン、アクリロニトリル、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の共重合体。
- 前記第2のモノマーが、1つ以上のアクリレート類または1つ以上のメタクリレート類を含む、請求項37に記載の共重合体。
- 前記共重合体が、ブロック共重合体である、請求項37〜39のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 混合物を重合することによって調製されたポリマー系であって、該混合物は、
i)該混合物の総重量に基づいて、2重量%以上の1つ以上の1,1−二置換アルケンモノマーと;
ii)該混合物の総重量に基づいて、2重量%以上の第2のモノマーと;該第2のモノマーは、1つ以上のアクリレート類、1つ以上のメタクリレート類、スチレン、ブタジエン、シアノアクリレート、アクリロニトリル、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせである、
を含む、前記ポリマー系。
