Claims (11)

  1. 光電変換部と画素トランジスタからなる複数の画素が形成された半導体層を有し、
    前記半導体層の一方の面側に多層配線層が形成され、前記半導体層の他方の面側から光が入射される固体撮像装置であって、
    前記半導体層の他方の面側にパッド部が形成され、
    前記パッド部に前記多層配線層中の導電層に達する開口が形成され、
    前記半導体層の他方の面上から前記開口内の側壁に延長して、前記半導体層を絶縁被覆する絶縁膜が形成される
    ことを特徴とする固体撮像装置。
  2. 前記絶縁膜上に形成された遮光膜の延長部が前記導電層上に電気的に接続するように形成され、
    前記導電層に接地電位が供給される
    ことを特徴とする請求項１記載の固体撮像装置。
  3. 前記開口の底部に露出した前記導電層にボンディングワイヤが接続される
    ことを特徴とする請求項１記載の固体撮像装置。
  4. 前記絶縁膜は、反射防止膜からなる
    ことを特徴とする請求項１記載の固体撮像装置。
  5. 前記絶縁膜は、反射防止膜、パッシベーション膜及びオンチップマイクロレンズ材膜からなることを特徴とする請求項１記載の固体撮像装置。
  6. 光電変換部と画素トランジスタからなる複数の画素が形成された半導体層の一方の面側に多層配線層を形成する工程と、
    前記半導体層の他方の面側のパッド部に対応する部分に、前記多層配線層中の導電層に達する開口を形成する工程と、
    前記半導体層の他方の面上から前記開口内の側壁に延長して、前記半導体層を絶縁被覆する絶縁膜を形成する工程とを有する
    ことを特徴とする固体撮像装置の製造方法。
  7. 前記導電層を接地電位が供給される導電層で形成し、
    前記絶縁膜上に、前記半導体層の他方の面から前記開口の底面の導電層上に延長する遮光膜を形成する工程を有する
    ことを特徴とする請求項６記載の固体撮像装置の製造方法。
  8. 前記開口の底部に露出した前記導電層にボンディングワイヤを接続する工程を有する
    ことを特徴とする請求項６記載の固体撮像装置の製造方法。
  9. 前記絶縁膜に反射防止膜を用いる
    ことを特徴とする請求項６記載の固体撮像装置の製造方法。
  10. 前記絶縁膜に、反射防止膜、パッシベーション膜及びオンチップマイクロレンズ材膜からなる積層膜を用いる
    ことを特徴とする請求項６記載の固体撮像装置の製造方法。
  11. 固体撮像装置と光学レンズと信号処理手段とを備え、
    前記固体撮像装置は、光電変換部と画素トランジスタからなる複数の画素が形成された半導体層を有し、前記半導体層の一方の面側に多層配線層が形成され、前記半導体層の他方の面側から光が入射される固体撮像装置であって、
    前記半導体層の他方の面側にパッド部が形成され、
    前記パッド部に前記多層配線層中の導電層に達する開口が形成され、
    前記半導体層の他方の面上から前記開口内の側壁に延長して、前記半導体層を絶縁被覆する絶縁膜が形成される
    ことを特徴とするカメラ。
