Claims (10)
- 積層基板において、
(a)第1の熱膨張係数を有する、間隔をおいて配置された一対の透明ガラススキン層、及び
(b)前記ガラススキン層の間に配置された、前記第1の熱膨張係数より高い第2の熱膨張係数を有する、透明ガラスコア、
を有し、
前記ガラススキン層がほぼ1000psi(6.9MPa)より大きい残留圧縮応力を有し、前記ガラスコアがほぼ4000psi(27.6MPa)より小さい残留引っ張り応力を有する、
ことを特徴とする積層基板。 - 前記ガラスコアの前記残留引っ張り応力が、2000psi(13.8MPa)より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラスコアの前記残留引っ張り応力が、1500psi(10.3MPa)より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラスコアの前記残留引っ張り応力が、1000psi(6.9MPa)より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラススキン層の少なくとも一方の前記残留圧縮応力が、2000psi(13.8MPa)より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラススキン層の少なくとも一方の前記残留圧縮応力が、3000psi(20.7MPa)より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラススキン層の少なくとも一方の前記残留圧縮応力が、4000psi(27.6MPa)より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記ガラススキン層と前記ガラスコアが1.5mmより薄い総厚を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- 前記残留圧縮応力が、約3000psi(20.7MPa)と約15000psi(103.5MPa)の間であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層基板。
- フラットパネルディスプレイ用積層基板において、
スキン層熱膨張係数、スキン層硬化点及びほぼ1000psi(6.9MPa)より大きい残留圧縮応力を有する透明ガラススキン層、
コア熱膨張係数、コア硬化点及びほぼ4000psi(27.6MPa)より小さい残留引っ張り応力を有する透明ガラスコア、及び
前記ガラススキン層と前記ガラスコアの間に配置された、中間層熱膨張係数及び中間層硬化点を有する、透明ガラス中間層、
を有し、
前記中間層熱膨張係数が、前記スキン層熱膨張係数より小さく、前記コア熱膨張係数より大きいことを特徴とするフラットパネルディスプレイ用積層基板。
