Claims (2)
- 積層基板において、
予め定められたスキン層熱膨張係数、及び残留圧縮応力を有するものとなるように形成されている透明ガラススキン層、
予め定められたコア熱膨張係数、及び残留引っ張り応力を有するものとなるように形成されている透明ガラスコア、及び
前記透明ガラススキン層と前記透明ガラスコアの間に配置された、予め定められた中間層熱膨張係数、及び残留圧縮応力を有するものとなるように形成されている透明ガラス中間層、
を有し、
前記中間層熱膨張係数が、前記スキン層熱膨張係数より大きく、かつ、前記コア熱膨張係数より小さく定められたものであり、
前記透明ガラスコア、前記透明ガラス中間層、及び前記透明ガラススキン層が、前記積層基板の内部から該積層基板の表裏両面それぞれに向けて、この順に積層されていることを特徴とする積層基板。 - 前記ガラススキン層が、1000psi(6.9MPa)より大きい残留圧縮応力を有するものとなるように形成されたものであり、
前記ガラスコアが、4000psi(27.6MPa)より小さい残留引っ張り応力を有するものとなるように形成されたものであり、
フラットパネルディスプレイに用いられるものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の積層基板。
