Claims (8)
- 約60モル%〜約66モル%のSiO2;
約7モル%〜約10モル%のAl2O3;
約14モル%〜約18モル%のB2O3;及び
約9モル%〜約16モル%のアルカリ土類酸化物;
を含む、ガラス組成物であって、
前記アルカリ土類酸化物は少なくともCaOを含み、
前記CaOは前記ガラス組成物中に、約3モル%〜約12モル%の濃度で存在し、
前記ガラス組成物は、アルカリ金属及びアルカリ金属を含有する化合物を実質的に含まない、ガラス組成物。 - 前記アルカリ土類酸化物は:
約0モル%〜約6モル%のMgO、又は約2モル%〜約4モル%のMgO;及び
約0モル%〜約6モル%のSrO、又は約1モル%〜約4モル%のSrO;
を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス組成物。 - 約63モル%〜約65モル%のSiO2;及び
約16モル%〜約17モル%のB2O3;
を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のガラス組成物。 - 20℃〜300℃の温度範囲に亘って平均して40×10−7/℃以下の熱膨張係数;
約50キロポアズ以上の液相粘度;又は
10.5Mpsi以下のヤング率;
のうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のガラス組成物。 - 第1のガラスクラッド層と第2のガラスクラッド層との間に配置されたガラスコア層を備える、ガラス物品であって、
前記第1のガラスクラッド層及び前記第2のガラスクラッド層は、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガラス組成物から形成される、ガラス物品。 - 前記ガラスコア層は、平均コア熱膨張係数CTEcoreを有し;
前記第1のガラスクラッド層及び前記第2のガラスクラッド層は、前記平均コア熱膨張係数CTEcore未満である平均クラッド熱膨張係数CTEcladを有し;
前記第1のガラスクラッド層及び前記第2のガラスクラッド層は、圧縮応力を受ける;請求項5に記載のガラス物品。 - 前記ガラスコア層の第1の表面は、前記第1のガラスクラッド層に直接隣接し、
前記ガラスコア層の第2の表面は、前記第2のガラスクラッド層に直接隣接する、請求項5又は6に記載のガラス物品。 - 前記第1のガラスクラッド層又は第2のガラスクラッド層と前記ガラスコア層との間に、拡散性層が配置され、
前記拡散性層の平均熱膨張係数は、前記コアの前記平均コア熱膨張係数の値と、前記第1のガラスクラッド層又は前記第2のガラスクラッド層の前記平均クラッド熱膨張係数の値との間の値を有する、請求項5又は6に記載のガラス物品。
