Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 排気ガス処理用触媒品であって、 上流触媒ゾーンと少なくとも1つの下流触媒ゾーンを含み、ここで、 該上流触媒ゾーンが、 第一上流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第一上流パラジウム成分、 を含む上流組成物を含み、 該下流触媒ゾーンが、 第一下流支持体、 第一下流貴金属成分、 を含む第一下流層、 第二下流支持体、 第二下流貴金属成分、 を含む第二下流層、 を含み、ここで、該第一および第二下流層の少なくとも1つがパラジウム成分を 含む品。 2. 該下流触媒ゾーンが、 第一下流白金成分、 第一下流ロジウム成分、 第二下流白金成分、および 第二下流ロジウム成分、 から成る群から選択される少なくとも1種の追加的貴金属を含む請求の範囲第1 項記載の品。 3. 更に、 第一下流パラジウム成分、および 任意に第一下流白金成分、および 第一下流ロジウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第1項記載の品。 4. 更に、 第二下流白金成分、および 第二下流ロジウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第3項記載の品。 5. 更に第一上流酸素貯蔵成分を含む請求の範囲第1項記載の品。 6. 排気ガス処理用触媒品であって、 上流触媒ゾーンと少なくとも1つの下流触媒ゾーンを含み、ここで、 該上流触媒ゾーンが第一上流層と第二上流層を含んでいて、 該第一上流層が、 第一上流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第一上流貴金属成分、 を含み、 該第二上流層が、 第二上流支持体、 少なくとも1種の第二上流貴金属成分、 を含み、ここで、該第一および第二上流層の少なくとも1つがパラジウム成分を 含み、そして 該下流触媒ゾーンが、 第一下流支持体、 第一下流貴金属成分、 を含む第一下流層、 第二下流支持体、 第二下流貴金属成分、 を含む第二下流層、 を含み、ここで、該第一および第二下流層の少なくとも1つがパラジウム成分を 含む品。 7. 更に 第一上流パラジウム成分、および 任意に第二上流パラジウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第6項記載の品。 8. 該下流触媒ゾーンが 第一下流白金成分、 第一下流ロジウム成分、 第二下流白金成分、および 第二下流ロジウム成分、 から成る群から選択される少なくとも1種の追加的貴金属を含む請求の範囲第7 項記載の品。 9. 更に、 第一下流パラジウム成分、および 任意に第一下流白金成分、および 第一下流ロジウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第7項記載の品。 10. 更に、 第二下流白金成分、および 第二下流ロジウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第7項記載の品。 11. 該第一上流層が第一上流パラジウム成分および該パラジウム成分と一 緒に酸素貯蔵成分を含む請求の範囲第7項記載の品。 12. 該第二下流層が更に少なくとも1種の第一下流安定剤を含む請求の範 囲第7項記載の品。 13. 該第二下流層が更に少なくとも1種の第一下流希土類金属成分を含む 請求の範囲第7項記載の品。 14. 該第二下流層が更に第一下流ジルコニウム化合物を含む請求の範囲第 7項記載の品。 15. 該第二下流層が更に第二酸素貯蔵組成物を含んでいてこの組成物が希 釈第二酸素貯蔵成分を含む請求の範囲第7項記載の品。 16. 該第二下流層が更に第二下流ジルコニウム成分を含む請求の範囲第7 項記載の品。 17. 排気ガス処理用触媒品であって、 上流触媒ゾーンと少なくとも1つの下流触媒ゾーンを含み、 ここで、 該上流触媒ゾーンが、 第一上流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第一上流パラジウム成分、 を含む上流組成物を含み、 該下流触媒ゾーンが、 第一下流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第一下流白金族成分、 を含む第一下流層、 第二下流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第二下流白金族成分、 を含む第二下流層、 を含み、ここで、該第一および第二下流白金族金属成分が、同じか或は異なり、 ロジウム、白金およびパラジウムから成る群から選択される成分を含んでいて、 該第一および第二下流白金族成分の少なくとも1つがパラジウム成分を含む品。 18. 該上流触媒ゾーンが第一上流層と第二上流層を含んでいて、該第一上 流層が、 第一上流支持体、 第一上流パラジウム成分、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一上流安定剤、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一上流希土類金属成分、および 任意に第一上流ジルコニウム化合物、 を含み、そして 該第二上流層が、 第二上流支持体、 上流ロジウム成分および少なくとも別の白金族金属成分から選択され る少なくとも1種の第二上流白金族金属成分、 任意に第二上流ジルコニウム成分、 を含む請求の範囲第17項記載の品。 19. 該上流触媒ゾーンが第一上流層と第二上流層を含んでいて、該第一上 流層が、 第一上流支持体、 第一上流パラジウム成分、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一上流安定剤、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一上流希土類金属成分、および 任意に上流ジルコニウム化合物、 を含み、そして 該第二上流層が、 第二上流支持体、 上流ロジウム成分および少なくとも別の白金族金属成分から選択され る少なくとも2種の第二上流白金族金属成分、 任意に、希釈第二酸素貯蔵成分を含む第二上流酸素貯蔵組成物、およ び 任意にジルコニウム成分、 を含み、そして 該下流触媒ゾーンが第一下流層と第二下流層を含んでいて、 該第一下流層が、 第一下流支持体、 第一下流パラジウム成分、 任意に第一下流白金族成分、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一下流安定剤、 任意に少なくとも1種の第一下流希土類金属成分、および 任意に第一下流ジルコニウム化合物、 を含み、そして 該第二下流層が、 第二下流支持体、 第二下流白金成分、 下流ロジウム成分、 任意に、希釈第二酸素貯蔵成分を含む第二下流酸素貯蔵組成物、およ び 任意に第二下流ジルコニウム化合物、 を含む請求の範囲第18項記載の品。 20. 該第一および第二上流および下流支持体が同一もしくは異なりそして シリカ、アルミナおよびチタニア化合物から成る群から選択される化合物である 請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 21. 該第一および第二支持体が同一もしくは異なりそしてアルミナ、シリ カ、シリカ−アルミナ、アルミノ−シリケート類、アルミナ−ジルコニア、アル ミナ−クロミアおよびアルミナ−セリアから成る群から選択される活性化された 化合物である請求の範囲第20項記載の品。 22. 該第一および第二支持体が活性化アルミナである請求の範囲第21項 記載の品。 23. 更にセリウム化合物およびプラセオジム化合物から成る群から選択さ れる酸素貯蔵成分を含む請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 24. 該酸素貯蔵成分がセリアである請求の範囲第23項記載の品。 25. 該第一または第二層の少なくとも1つが更にニッケルまたは鉄成分を 含む請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 26. 該第一層が更にニッケルまたは鉄成分を含む請求の範囲第25項記載 の品。 27. 更に少なくとも1種の第一アルカリ土類金属成分を含んでいてそして 少なくとも1種の第一もしくは第二上流もしくは下流アルカリ土類金属成分がマ グネシウム、バリウム、カルシウムおよびストロンチウムから成る群から選択さ れる金属から誘導された成分である請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 28. 上記アルカリ土類金属成分の少なくとも1つがストロンチウムおよび バリウムから成る群から選択される金属から誘導された成分である請求の範囲第 27項記載の品。 29. 上記アルカリ土類金属成分の少なくとも1つが酸化バリウムである請 求の範囲第13項記載の品。 30. 上記アルカリ土類金属成分の少なくとも1つが酸化ストロンチウムで ある請求の範囲第13項記載の品。 31. 更に第一もしくは第二上流もしくは下流希土類金属成分の少なくとも 1つを含みそして第二希土類金属成分がランタンおよびネオジムから選択される 群から誘導された成分である請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 32. 上記希土類金属成分の少なくとも1つがランタンから誘導された成分 である請求の範囲第31項記載の品。 33. 上記希土類金属成分の少なくとも1つがネオジムから誘導された成分 である請求の範囲第31項記載の品。 34. 該上流ゾーンおよび下流ゾーン各々にペレット形態の複合体が入って いて該ペレットの内側に該第一層が位置しかつ外側に該第二層 が位置する請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 35. 該第一および第二層の少なくとも1つが更にジルコニアと希土類酸化 物から作られた粒子状複合体を含む請求の範囲第1項記載の品。 36. 該希土類酸化物がセリアでありそして任意に更にランタナ、ネオジミ アおよびそれらの混合物を含む請求の範囲第22項記載の品。 37. 請求の範囲第6および17項記載の品であって、 第一上流支持体が約0.15から約1.0g/立方インチ、 該第一上流白金族金属成分と密に接触している酸素貯蔵成分が少なく とも約0.2g/立方インチ、 少なくとも1種の第一アルカリ土類金属成分が約0.025から約0 .5g/立方インチ、 第一上流ジルコニウム成分が約0.025から約0.5g/立方イン チ、 ランタン金属成分およびネオジム金属成分から成る群から選択される 少なくとも1種の第一上流希土類金属成分が約0.025から約0.5g/立方 インチ、 第二上流支持体が約0.15g/立方インチから約1.0g/立方イ ンチ、 少なくとも1種の上流第二アルカリ土類金属成分が約0.025g/ 立方インチから約0.5g/立方インチ、 ランタン金属成分およびネオジム金属成分から成る群から選択される 少なくとも1種の上流第二希土類金属成分が約0.025g/立方インチから約 0.5g/立方インチ、および 第二上流ジルコニウム成分が0.025から約0.5g/ 立方インチ、 存在する品。 38. 該第一および第二上流層の少なくとも1つが更にニッケル成分を約0 .025g/立方インチから約0.5g/立方インチ含む請求の範囲第24項記 載の品。 39. 該第一および第二上流層の少なくとも1つが、更に、ジルコニアとセ リアを含みそして任意に更にランタナ、ネオジミアおよびそれらの混合物を含ん でてもよい粒子状複合体を約0.1g/立方インチから約1.0g/立方インチ 含む請求の範囲第24項記載の品。 40. 該ジルコニアとセリアを含む粒子状複合体がジルコニアを60から9 0重量%、セリアを10から30重量%、そしてランタナ、ネオジミアおよびそ れらの混合物を包含する希土類酸化物を0から10重量%含む請求の範囲第39 項記載の品。 41. 第一および第二上流パラジウム成分の各々が少なくとも10.0g/ 立方フィート存在している請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 42. 請求の範囲第6または17項記載の品であって、 第一下流パラジウム成分が約0.0175から約0.3g/立方イン チ、 第一下流白金成分が約0から約0.065g/立方インチ、 第一下流支持体が約0.15から約2.0g/立方インチ、 少なくとも1種の第一アルカリ土類金属成分が約0.025から約0 .5g/立方インチ、 第一下流ジルコニウム成分が約0.025から約0.5g/ 立方インチ、 セリウム金属成分、ランタン金属成分およびネオジム金属成分から成 る群から選択される少なくとも1種の第一下流希土類金属成分が約0.025か ら約0.5g/立方インチ、 第二下流ロジウム成分が約0.001g/立方インチから約0.03 g/立方インチ、 第二下流白金が約0.001g/立方インチから約0.15g/立方 インチ、 第二下流支持体が約0.15g/立方インチから約1.5g/立方イ ンチ、 第二下流酸素貯蔵組成物が約0.1から2g/立方インチ、 ランタン金属成分およびネオジム金属成分から成る群から選択される 少なくとも1種の第二下流希土類金属成分が約0.025g/立方インチから約 0.5g/立方インチ、および 第二下流ジルコニウム成分が約0.025から約0.5g/立方イン チ、 存在している品。 43. 該第一および第二下流層の少なくとも1つが更にニッケル成分を約0 .025g/立方インチから約0.5g/立方インチ含む請求の範囲第26項記 載の品。 44. 該第一および第二下流層の少なくとも1つが、更に、ジルコニアおよ びセリアを含みそして任意に更にラナタナ、ネオジミアおよびそれらの混合物を 含んでいてもよい粒子状複合体を約0.1g/立方インチから約1.0g/立方 インチ含む請求の範囲第26項記載の品。 45. 該ジルコニアとセリアの粒子状複合体がジルコニアを60から90重 量%、セリアを10から30重量%、およびランタナ、ネオジミア、イットリア およびそれらの混合物を包含する希土類酸化物を0から10重量%含む請求の範 囲第44項記載の品。 46. 該上流ゾーンが上流基質に支持されておりそして該下流ゾーンが下流 基質に支持されている請求の範囲第1、6または17項記載の品。 47. 該上流および下流基質がハニカム型担体を含む請求の範囲第35項記 載の品。 48. 更に触媒変換器支持体キャニスターを含む請求の範囲第47項記載の 品。 49. 該キャニスターが上流および下流ゾーンを含有していてこのキャニス ターが自動車排気系のアンダーフロア位置に位置している請求の範囲第48項記 載の品。 50. 該上流ハニカムが約0.5から約3.0インチの軸方向長さを有しそ して該下流ハニカムが該上流触媒よりも長い軸方向長さを有する請求の範囲第4 9項記載の品。 51. 該下流ハニカムが該上流ハニカムよりも大きい熱質量を有する請求の 範囲第47項記載の品。 52. 排気ガス処理用触媒品であって、 上流触媒ゾーンと少なくとも1つの下流触媒ゾーンを含み、 ここで、 該上流触媒ゾーンが、 上流ハニカム、 該上流ハニカム上の上流組成物の第一層、 を含んでいて、該層が、 第一上流支持体、および 少なくとも1種の第一上流貴金属成分、 を含み、該下流触媒ゾーンが、 下流ハニカム、 該下流ハニカム上の第一下流組成物の第一層、 を含んでいて、該層が、 第一下流支持体、 第一下流貴金属成分、 を含む品。 53. 更に第二下流層を含んでいて、この第二下流層が、 第二下流支持体、 第二下流貴金属成分、 を含む請求の範囲第52項記載の品。 54. 上流組成物がパラジウムを含む請求の範囲第52項記載の品。 55. 該下流触媒ゾーンが、 第一下流白金成分、 第一下流ロジウム成分、 第二下流白金成分、および 第二下流ロジウム成分、 から成る群から選択される少なくとも1種の追加的貴金属を含む請求の範囲第5 2項記載の品。 56. 該上流ハニカムが約0.5から約3.0インチの軸方向長さ
