Abstract

In un impianto di frenatura idraulico a due circuiti per un veicolo stradale con ripartizione del circuito frenante sull'assale anteriore e sull'assale posteriore, il quale è equipaggiato sia con un sistema antibloccaggio (ABS) sia con un dispositivo di regolazione dello slittamento nella trasmissione (ASR) che opera secondo il principio di decelerare di nuovo una ruota del veicolo che tende a slittare attraverso l'attivazione del suo freno, è previsto anche per il circuito frenante delle ruote motrici anteriori del veicolo un dispositivo di controllo della pressione frenante analogo all'ASR, il quale - insieme con l'ASR per le ruote posteriori condotte del veicolo - viene attivato nel senso di un controllo automatico della pressione frenante quando il conducente aziona il pedale con una velocità maggiore del valore di soglia prestabilito ?S. La pressione frenante viene pilotata poi automaticamente in modo da ottenersi una decelerazione ottimale del veicolo. Con lo aiuto di accumulatori tampone, che durante la frenatura automatica vengono collegati - al posto dei freni sulle ruote - alle camere di pressione di uscita del congegno di freno, si ottiene una simulazione di corsa del pedale in base alla quale una unità elettronica di comando "riconosce" quale decelerazione il conducente vuole impartire al veicolo attraverso l'azionamento del pedale del freno.
