Claims (9)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en väsentligen amorf form av 1-aoetoxietylester av (6R,7R)-3-karbamoyl-5 oxime tyl-7-/^( Z) -2- (fur-2-yl) -2-metoxiiminoacetamido7cef- 3-em-4-karboxylsyra eller cefuroximaxetil, vilken inne-häller mindre än 5 vikt-% av föroreningar, i form av en R-eller S-isomer eller en blandning av R- och S-isoraerer, kännetecknat därav, att man framställer en 10 lösning av den motsvarande isomeren eller isomerblandning-en av cefuroximaxetil i ett organiskt lösningsmedel eller en homogen blandning av organiska lösningsmedel eller en homogen blandning av ett eller flera organiska lösningsmedel och vatten, i vilken lösning koncentrationen av ce-15 furoximaxetil är 1 - 30 vikt-%, och tillvaratar den väsentligen amorfa cefuroximaxetilen frän denna lösning genom att lösningsmedlet avlägsnas snabbt eller genom ut-fällning med ett lösningsmedel.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kanne-20 tecknat därav, att lösningen innehäller ett organiskt lösningsmedel som valts bland ketoner, alkoholer, acetonitril, tetrahydrofuran, dioxan, estrar, klorerade lösningsmedel, homogena blandningar av minst tvä av de ovannämnda lösningsmedlen och homogena blandningar av 25 minst ett ovannämnt lösningsmedel och vatten.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att koncentrationen av estern i lösningen före tillvaratagandet är minst 10 vikt-%.
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1 - 3, 30 kännetecknat därav, att produkten är en blandning av R- och S-isomerer, i vilken förhällandet av R- tili S-isomeren är i omrädet 0,9:1 - 1,1:1.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-4, kännetecknat därav, att tillvara- 35 tagandet genomförs genom spraytorkning.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat därav, att spraytorkningen sker i när-varo av en inert torkningsgas.
