Abstract
MASSA DE PARTìCULAS POLIMéRICAS, PROCESSO PARA O PROCESSAMENTO EM FUSãO DE PARTìCULAS POLIMéRICAS, PRé-FORMA DE FRASCO, E, FRASCO MOLDADO POR ESTIRAMENTO E SOPRO. Uma massa de partículas poliméricas de poliéster compreendendo polímero de poliéster quecompreende mais do que 75% de polímero de poliéster virgem, as partículas tendo: A) uma It.V. de pelo menos 0,72 dl/g, e B) 10 ppm ou menos de acetaldeídoresidual; e C) pelo menos dois picos de fusão, em que um de ditos pelo menos dois picos de fusão é um ponto de fusão de pico baixo dentro de uma faixa de 140<198>C a 220<198>C e tendo uma área endotérmica de fusão de pelo menos o valor absoluto de 1 J/g. As partículas podem também ter um grau de cristalinidade dentro de uma faixa de 20% e um grau de cristalidade T~ cmax~ definido pela equação:T~ cmax~ = 50% - CA - OH onde CA é a % em mol total de todos os resíduos de ácido carboxílico diferente dos resíduos de ácido tereftálico, com base em 100% em mol de resíduos de ácido carboxílico, e OH é a % em mol total de todosos resíduos de composto funcionalde hidroxila diferente dos resíduos de etileno glicol, com base em 100% em mol de resíduos de compostos funcionais de hidroxila As pré-formas e frascos produzidos a partir destas partículas podem ser obtidas mediante o processamento em fusão destas partículas com força total mais baixa, velocidades de parafuso mais rápidas, tempo de residência mais baixo, ou tempo de ciclo global mais baixo para desse modo reduzir o nível de acetaldeído residual gerado na fusão.
