Abstract

"SISTEMA DE INALAçãO COM Pó SECO PARA ADMINISTRAçãO TRANSPULMONAR". A presente invenção apresenta um novo sistema de inalação com pó seco, adequado para administração transpulmonar. O sistema de inalação com pó seco da invenção é caracterizado pelo uso de uma combinação de: (1) um vaso que aloja uma composição seca por congelamento que contém uma única dose de um ingrediente ativo, e possui: (i) uma forma tipo bolo não pulverizado, (ii) um índice de desintegração de 0,01 5 ou mais, e (iii) uma propriedade de transforma-se em finas partículas que apresentam um diâmetro médio de partícula de 10 mícrons ou menos ou uma fração de partícula fina de 10% ou mais depois de receber um impacto de ar tendo uma velocidade de ar de pelo menos 1m/seg. e uma taxa de fluxo de ar de pelo menos 17 ml/seg.; e (2) um dispositivo que compreende meios capazes de aplicarem o dito impacto de ar na composição seca por congelamento no dito vaso, e meios para descarregarem a composição seca por congelamento na forma em pó que foi feita formando finas partículas.
